(Moon’s Day, Venus’ Night)
(7:39 AM ET) Moon conjoins Neptune at 21º37’ Pisces
(12:45 PM ET) Moon sextiles Pluto at 24º22’ Pisces
(6:52 PM ET) Mercury trine Jupiter at 23º32’ Libra
(7:54 PM ET) LUNATION: Full Moon in Pisces at 28º13’ Pisces
VOID MOON: 7:54 PM to 11:12 PM ET
(11:12 PM ET) INGRESS: Moon enters Aries
We start off our week with a lot of transits on Monday, as its the our last lunation of the month, and it’s a Full Moon in Pisces. Its quite interesting to have been feeling the buildup, I’ve been in a very etherial vibe, as I was driving back home from the car, and really thinking about what do I need to make the jump and leap towards. Ans then I realized making jumps, leaps, going the distance, going the extra mile, above and beyond, these are all things ruled by Jupiter, the ruler of the Full Moon, but these are things ruled by the Third Decan of Pisces, spanning from 20-29º59’ of Pisces. This Decan deals with sacrifice, and what one gives something up for. The Mars/Mars influence to this Decan really gives the idea of putting something into motion with purpose, with intention, and with meaning. These are all things ruled by Jupiter, and Mars in Pisces needs a purpose to act. Something that is fulfilling and meaningful. Sometimes this means we have to take the leap of faith, Mars ruling this Decan of Pisces, in order to achieve and accomplish our goals. The Full Moon in this Decan highlights where we need to make important choices to cross the threshold. This part of Pisces is the end of the zodiac, and in just 2º, the Moon enters Aries. We’re at the end of a cycle with this Moon close to a sign barrier, but what I’ve been talking about with this Full Moon is what Jupiter is doing next year! Jupiter will station Direct at 28º of Pisces (the Degree of this Lunation) on November 23rd, 2022, after being in Aries from May to August of 2022. Whatever shows up for this lunation will be relevant moving forward into what happens in 2022. These points of release are what the Full Moon is about, and what a coincidence that this happens on the Moon’s Day, Monday. This Full Moon is a loud one to start off the week, and it takes center stage tomorrow at 7:54 PM ET.
Its interesting because while this application from the Moon to the Sun is happening, our second major aspect for the day is that Mercury is applying to Jupiter Retrograde. Mercury is gearing up to station Retrograde next Monday, and will trine Jupiter on it’s way. It’s interesting because Jupiter is getting ready to station direct, while still being Retrograde, and Mecury is getting ready to station Retrograde, while applying to Juptier while being Direct. What’s even crazier is they will both station direct on the SAME DAY: October 18th, 2021. Mercury trine Jupiter is information of support from other people. Especially since Mercury’s Domicile Lord, Venus in Scorpio, is in an applying square to Jupiter in Aquarius. However, because Mercury will Retrograde, it will trine Jupiter 2 more times after today. On October 3rd and November 1st. Whatever collaboration or connection that goes on during this time will eventually be reviewed and people will be changing where they get their support from whether it be friends, family, etc. This deals with relationships and how people feel being in proximity to others. Jupiter in Aquarius has been a huge lesson on community and who desires to be in proximity to others, and with this trine to Mercury in Libra, ruled by Venus, its all about prioritizing relationships and engaging with people who are very fairminded in being honest, truthful, and trustworthy. In the Eye of the Storm, who is with you? Is it your enemies (Mars in Libra)? Is it your friends (Jupiter in Aquarius)? Sometimes we may change our mind of who we are in community is with, I mean that’s what Mercury Retrograde literally means: the mind (Mercury) changing (Retrograde).
By the end of the night, things start to mellow down, but we may feel the after effects of burnout. If you do, that’s completely cool, allow yourself to feel that and don’t resist it. Take care of your body during this time, as much as possible. Don’t do too much heavy smoking or drinking, as it could cause a lot of strain or feelings of tiredness and drained that can be challenging. The Pisces Moon likes to have fun, but only done in moderation with Venus exalted in Pisces. Take care of your body during the Aries Moon. This shifts us over into Tuesday.
Tuesday
(Mars’ Day, Saturn’s Night)
(7:02 AM ET) Moon opposite Mars at 4º10’ Aries
(12:43 AM ET) Moon sextile Saturn at 7º11’ Libra
The Moon now starts to oppose Mars and get to it’s domicile lord. You can see Moon/Mars aspects be about confrontation, and people being angry. People who once seemed very nice now are extremely angry and frustrated with you, and are not afraid to say it. I would say that we might be tested and people might challenge us, or we have to be in the position to challenge or defy the authority of others. We may feel the impulse to act or to fight, but I say choose your battles carefully. The Moon will make a sextile to Saturn in Aquarius, think about your decisions and the long term effect they will have. Even when you need to make choices to severe ties, think about the impression you want to leave. Don’t be messy. Be respectful. Saturn appreciates humility and knowing how to be content with the way things or people are even if they enflame our spirit with rage. We will definitely feel the tension, especially since Mars and Saturn are the day and night lords, and the Moon is applying to both of them. This Aries Moon can be potentially important for the future Aries Moon when Mercury goes Retrograde, but the Moon doesn’t oppose Mercury until tomorrow, which is a good segue, but I want to say that the tension starts to build tomorrow, even after the exhale of the Full Moon has been release. What we are releasing is what happens on the Aries Moon, which is Monday through Thursday. Make sure to prioritize rest.
Wednesday
(Mercury’s Day, Sun’s Night)
(9:11 AM ET) Mercury square Pluto at 24º21’ Libra
(3:21 PM ET) INGRESS: Sun enters Libra
(7:42 PM ET) Moon sextile Jupiter at 23º22’ Aries
(9:37 PM ET) Moon square Pluto at 24º21’ Aries
(10:04 PM ET) Moon opposite Mercury at 24º35’ Aries
VOID MOON: 10:04 PM ET until Thursday 8:38 AM ET
When we shift over to the day ruled by Mercury, it’s interesting because Mercury is simultaneously doing important things with the Moon. Mercury is squaring Pluto, which can talk about hidden (Pluto) information (Mercury) being revealed and it creating some friction and discord. This theme of challenging news becomes a theme for later in the day as well when the Moon opposes Mercury. The Sun also enters Libra, beginning the Libra Ingress on this day [a day regarded important to Mundane Astrologers, as a way to forecast what the next half of the zodiacal year (from Libra to Pisces) would be about for the country, place, and location]. We have to act fair minded. Saturn exalts in Libra, and the Sun finds their Depression. The Sun in Libra indicate people who like to look at all sides of the situation, really weighing everyone’s point of view, and seeing how others contrast, noticing the contradictions, and really seeing if something is “balanced”. The Sun’s ingress into Libra can signfy a change in power dynamic, which can be what the cardinal signs represent, as this is the Equinox, where the length of day and night are equal, but now the length of nights are increasing. A lot of news being thrown around can really alter one’s ability to make decisions, so decide carefully. The Sun in Libra is someone who needs to make fair decisions, and who cannot pick a side. If we embody this, it gives us an opportunity to be cautious with what the future impacts of our decisions mean. Think about the consequences of your actions and if you are willing to bear the responsibility of your actions.
Its interesting because the Pluto is receiving aspects from both the Moon and Mercury, the two planets representing the messangers, and is said to be “collecting the light” of these two planets. Pluto represents things that are hidden, power dynamics, changes, metamorphoses, rapid change, and with both messangers applying to Pluto, they’re bringing a lot of challenging news from the underworld. Pluto is naturally the god of the underworld, and here both planets seek information. And then the Moon and Mercury apply to each other. Challenging news is the theme for this day. Keep a level head is the omen of the Sun’s ingress into Libra.
Thursday
(Jupiter’s Day, Moon’s Night)
(5:40 AM ET) Venus opposite Uranus at 14º19’ Scorpio
(8:38 AM ET) INGRESS: Moon enters Taurus
(10:39 PM ET) Moon square Saturn at 7º07’ Taurus
This takes us into Thursday, which can feel a little more exhausting, and now that the Moon is void, and will be void until early in the morning around 8:38 AM ET, the Moon enters Taurus, where it find it’s exaltation, and it’s ruler is Venus in Scorpio who just made an opposition to Uranus on that day. This can show some unexpected change in relationships, or change in dynamic of ownership, because of the Venusian influence. Relationships abruptly changing or receiving unexpected disruption of balance can happen during this transit. Relationships may take on a melancholic tone with with day because the Moon applies to Saturn, which can talk about rejection, separation, isolation, people being restrict from each other, or unable to be together because of obstacles blocking them can be what this transit talks about. The Moon applying to a square to Saturn can make someone feel very tired, exhausted, and at capacity. If you feel this on this day, it is important to nourish your body. Take a salt bath. Massage yourself. Stretch. Allow your body to release any tension it may have absorbed from the past few days. Allow yourself to indulge in taking care of yourself and falling in love with releasing tension through heat and steam (Mars related things). Through any changes that happen in life, find security and grounding (Taurus) in nourishing yourself.
Friday
(Venus’ Day, Mars’ Night)
(12:56 PM ET) Moon conjunct Uranus at 14º17’ Taurus
(4:15 PM ET) Moon opposite Venus at 15º56’ Taurus
When we move into Friday, this seems like a more fun day, as the Moon is conjunct Uranus, time for some surprises! Surprise what? Suprise Fun, the Moon applies to Venus, and really highlights that opposition that happened yesterday. The Moon passing over this reminds us that sometimes we need to remove our dead roots, as if roots were a metaphor our emotional plane of existence. Chop off your dead roots emotionally to make room for praise, for pleasure, for Fun, and allow yourself to cultivate new joy in your life through releasing old patterns of behavior. Friday night. Prioritize yourself unapologetically. Make room for self care because it deserves to be. Make room for people who really care about your “underbelly” (of the Scorpio). Cultivate relationships with people who understand what you’ve had to endure (Scorpio) and deepen your trust.
Saturday
(Saturn’s Day, Mercury’s Night)
(3:23 AM ET) Moon sextile Neptune at 21º29’ Taurus
(6:48 AM ET) Moon square Jupiter at 23º10’ Taurus
(9:09 AM ET) Moon trine Pluto at 24º20’ Taurus
VOID MOON: 9:09 AM ET to 8:36 PM ET
(5:50 PM ET) Mars trine Saturn at 07º14’ Libra
(8:36 PM ET) INGRESS: Moon enters Gemini
Shifting over into Saturday, while there may been a sense of disruptiveness that happened throughout the week, use this time to lighten up. The Moon is applying to Jupiter in Aquarius, taking whatever happened on Thursday when the Moon ingressed into Taurus, that seemed a lot more heavy and somber with the Saturn square, and making it more boyant and optimistic on Saturday with the Jupiter square. Take time to focus on breath work especially when Jupiter is in Aquarius, and find grounding through the breath, The Moon will be void for a big part of the day, for 11 hours of the day, so as always, it is not an auspicious time to make important decisions. Wait until the Moon ingresses into the next sign, which it will do later at 8:36 where it will enter Gemini, and this will kick of the start of Mercury’s station, as Mercury will then station Retrograde on Monday.
Thank you for coming to the end of this read. I know this may have been a little of a heavier forecast, but understand that there are a lot of challenging transits coming up. I think it’s important to understand the reality of the challenges that may come our way, and what we can do to center and ground ourselves as we work through them. As I interpret the Astrology, I am also going through my own set of challenges, and it’s important to be kind to one another as we all are surviving. I think the idea of having compassion and understanding for other people, although we may not agree with them, is big for the Full Moon (going exact as I right this), but have confidence to make each day a good day, and you can help to deter embodying some of this Astro Weather, because the embodiment of the Astro Weather each day is a choice, and we can chose to do anything, and no matter what we chose, it will be reflected in the sky.
See y'all next week for understanding what the Week of September 27th, 2021 looks like.
