After dealing with our first Lunar Eclipse in Taurus, last Friday Nov. 19th, we transition into a cooldown week, where all the momentum and energy building up from the Eclipse is now disseminating and being released. When the Moon is waning, that means it is losing light, but the analogy I use for this is that the moon is exhaling and breathing out. We may find that this week reveals and brings some important news for us, especially at the end of the week with the Mercury Cazimi on Sunday. Let’s take a deeper dive!
Monday Nov 22nd
(10:58 PM ET) Moon in Cancer sextile Uranus at 12º03’ Taurus
I honestly have absolutely no thoughts on Monday. When I saw that this was the ONLY aspect going on for the day, I was like “theres no way”. Take Monday to rest. If you have the opportunity to not exert more energy than you need to, take it.
Tuesday Nov 23rd
(5:48 AM ET) Moon in Cancer opposes Venus at 15º26’ Capricorn
(7:24 AM ET) Moon in Cancer trine Mars at 16º13’ Scorpio
VOID MOON: 7:24 AM ET to tomorrow 10:58 AM ET
(3:50 PM ET) Moon in Cancer trine Neptune at 20º25’ Pisces
Tuesday is where we get a little more action. The Moon makes an opposition to Venus and then a trine to Mars for the day. The Moon highlighting Venus while she is in her shadow provides us with the opportunity to explore what we need to feel nourished. What are the standards we need to set for ourselves in what is worthy of investing our time into? Venus in Capricorn is all about what are you building, but this always happens in collaboration. Relationships are a collaborative effort, and it is a lifestyle two people are building together for the future. Mars and Venus are very close to each other right now, appearing to form a sextile, and this transit of the Moon helps to transfer the light from Venus to Mars. There is a desire for stability with Venus in Capricorn, the desire for longevity. Venus in this terrain is cautious, calculated, and meticulous about the quality of a relationship she is building, and again who is willing to put in that work. Venus in Capricorn shows us that relationships take time, they take labor, and they take effort, and Venus is not about to just put their devotion, care, and effort into someone who does not take this relationship or project seriously. Mars in a pretty nice trine to the Moon shows us what action is needed or required to maintain a connection, relationship, or partnership.
Wednesday Nov 24th
(12:46 AM ET) Moon in Cancer opposes Pluto at 24º52’ Capricorn
(10:36 AM ET) INGRESS: Mercury enters Sagittarius
(10:58 AM ET) INGRESS: Moon enters Leo
(11:01 AM ET) Moon in Leo trine Mercury at 00º01’ Sagittarius
(4:34 PM ET) Moon in Leo trine Sun at 2º49’ Sagittarius
As we move into Wednesday, it is a day of news! Extra extra read all about it! Things heat up as Mercury enters Sagittarius, and also lightens the mood a little bit, now that it has moved through the gauntlet of a Fixed Sign boxing match, and has some news to share! Mercury’s ingress on Mercury’s day further speeds up this process– but get this, the Moon will also enter Leo today too, and make a trine to Mercury just 3 minutes after it ingresses. Talk about news traveling fast. If you’ve been waiting to hear from someone, been waiting for a package, a letter, an email, whatever the case may be: expect it today. With an influx of fire energy coming in, this news is SPICY! HOT AND STEAMY! Someone is sharing their truth or speaking their truth in some way, especially with Mercury in Sagittarius. The Moon crosses through Leo again, moving through the Fixed Axis, we’ll encounter more of those challenges on Thursday, but for Wednesday, speak your truth. Share your experience. Allow people to be drawn into your world and your vision through your words. Do not be afraid to share what you’re thinking. Mercury does enter the sign where it finds its Detriment, so the utilization of language becomes big, dynamic, hyperbolic, and expressive. Jovial communication is loud and inviting. It’s a great day to laugh.
Thursday Nov 25th
(3:51 AM ET) Moon in Leo opposes Saturn at 8º32’ Aquarius
(10:32 AM ET) Moon in Leo square Uranus at 11º57’ Taurus
(10:19 PM ET) Moon in Leo square Mars at 18º01’ Scorpio
As we move into Thursday, the Moon (as it does whenever it is in a fixed sign nowadays) will square Saturn, then Uranus, finally Mars. The Moon in Leo being enclosed between both of the malefics for the entire day makes Thursday feel really exhausting. Nothing is moving forward, you’re finding blockages, and getting rejected. Don’t take it too personally. The rejection of someone else does not diminish the inherent qualities inside of you from being any less valid. The Moon in Leo wants to be seen and acknowledged and validated for its identity. As the Moon transfers the light from Saturn to Mars, this rejection turns into anger and frustration. Know who your enemy is before you start chatting away with Mercury in Sagittarius. The issue with Mercury in Sagittarius is when Mercury is in Detriment, Mercury has no idea what it is talking about! LOL. Mercury doesn’t do specifics in Jupiter signs, only general. One problem we see with this is generalizations and making too broad of statements. It’s probably a day to be more careful and thoughtful with the impact of your words and how other people may or may not resonate with them, even if it is the truth. The truth without compassion is just being rude. You can deliver your truth without having to hurt people in the process.
Friday Nov 26th
(11:23 AM ET) Moon in Leo opposes Jupiter at 24º50’ Aquarius
VOID MOON: 11:23 AM ET to 9:11 PM ET
(9:11 PM ET) INGRESS: Moon enters Virgo
When we transition into Friday, the Moon lightens up a little bit more since the Moon will oppose Jupiter, which signifies a resolution of whatever we were dealing with since the Moon entered Leo and move over the malefics. In some way, I’m interpreting as finally being able to see the truth, since Jupiter is the planet of perspective since the Moon will directly come into contact with it. Jupiter has been adding some relief for any challenges that have come up with the Moon in the Fixed Signs. We can find understanding, compassion, and room to expand our field of view. Jupiter is all about widening the frame. The axis between Leo and Aquarius is all about authority and decentralization. Sometimes rejection and our experiences aren’t personal to us, but that doesn’t mean that it cannot hurt us and bring up deeper wounds inside of us. Friday looks like a day to come to an understanding of the ways in which we have been rejected for our identity, who we are, and ways in which we do not feel acknowledged. Afterward, the Moon enters Virgo.
Saturday Nov 27th
(5:27 AM ET) Moon in Virgo square Mercury at 04º23’ Sagittarius
(7:27 AM ET) Moon in Virgo square the Sun at 05º28’ Sagittarius
(7:18 PM ET) Moon in Virgo trine Uranus at 11º52’ Taurus
As we move into the weekend, the Moon makes applications to both Mercury and the Sun. I find that Virgo and Sagittarius deal with the themes of truth and detail. How does the truth uphold under the scrutiny of discernment and questioning of facts and information? The Moon in Mercury’s sign, highlighting Mercury’s positioning in its Detriment, while still being under the beams, although Mercury will be reborn by the Sun through its superior conjunction tomorrow. When planets are under the beams, a lot of the dialogue can be internal. Being critical of one’s beliefs, truths, and what ideas, visions, or images one identifies within themselves. Virgo and Sagittarius together make a sharp tongue, and we can expect this on Saturday, but again more internal. Try to catch yourself if you’re experiencing negative self-talk, and expand on where these ideas and thought processes came from? Who taught you this? Where did you learn it from? Be critical with the origin of your beliefs and do not be afraid to question yourself.
Sunday Nov 28th
(8:14 AM ET) Moon in Virgo trine Venus at 18º58’ Capricorn
(9:36 AM ET) Moon in Virgo sextile Mars at 19º43’ Scorpio
(10:49 AM ET) Moon in Virgo opposes Neptune at 20º24’ Pisces
(7:02 PM ET) Moon in Virgo trine Pluto at 24º59’ Capricorn
(11:39 PM ET) Mercury Cazimi at 7º10’ Sagittarius
Finally, we move into Sunday it is the day of the Mercury Cazimi. Mercury becomes reborn by the Sun, through a conjunction, and usually, these days are where we receive some sort of information, news, or something we had trouble understanding finally comes into our consciousness since the Sun is the faculty of consciousness. With the Moon making trines to Venus and sextiles to Mars, we get aha moments all around with the collaborations we’re making with others, and find out what steps and details we need to cover to move forward. This day feels like a good resolution to the week, and in many ways, it is an understanding of what the entire week has been about. Look at where Sagittarius is in your chart, you’ll find revelations, realizations, and eureka moments there. This Cazimi might also turn out to be relevant as the Eclipse in Sagittarius approaches next week. This last eclipse in Sagittarius on Dec 4th is closing out the previous 18th-month cycle of the Eclipses bouncing back and forth between Gemini and Sagittarius, and is the grand finale. The pursuit of the truth is the theme for Sagittarius season. Mercury becomes strengthened, even though in Detriment, by conjoining the Heart of the Sun which is the completion of Mercury’ last cycle being Retrograde back from September 27th to October 18th. This superior conjunction means Mercury will now transition into being an Evening Star, only visible during sunset (after it becomes released from the beams of the sun). Mercury as an evening star has depictions being an old man, a sage, an elder, who carries knowledge and is a teacher. We can take the knowledge we have gathered from the previous Retrograde over into our next Mercury Retrograde journey in January of 2022. Enjoy the Cazimi!
