Week 47: November 2022 Week 4, The Week Ahead Horoscope
The Week Ahead Horoscope is here! A New Moon in Sagittarius graces the sky, Mercury and Venus conjoin for the 1st out of 2 times, & Jupiter stations Direct after traveling retrograde since July.
Introduction بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
Monday, Nov 21st
[6:14 AM ET] The Moon in Libra square Pluto at 26º34’ Capricorn
[12:15 PM ET] INGRESS: The Moon enters Scorpio
[5:54 PM ET] Mercury conjoins Venus at 07º09’ Sagittarius
On Monday, the Moon will be exiting Libra and upon its exit it makes a square to Pluto in Capricorn. This square can bring more tensions with keeping balance + peace, frustration, and bring secrets, hidden feelings & information, and buried emotions to the surface. The Moon enters Scorpio, where she is said to be in the sign of her depression. In the ancient world, the Moon was said to be the planet that represents protection, comfort, security and safety, and in Scorpio these qualities are repressed, not supported, and outcasted. Whereas the Moon wants to create intimacy through privacy, the Moon has trouble and disappointment with intimacy during this Scorpio Moon because the ruler is a Retrograde Mars in Gemini. The tension between secrets, schemes, plots, hidden things, and lies, disinformation, slander, and speaking illy, the Moon is hurt by people’s erratic and violent use of language and words. The Moon won’t connect with Mars since Scorpio and Gemini cannot witness each other (averse), but conversations about relationships are especially important today as Mercury and Venus who have just freshly entered Sagittarius last week make their 1st out of 2 conjunctions in the sky.
A key piece about Mercury is that it is benefic with the benefic planets, and malefic with the malefic planets. When it is configured with benefics it indicates speech that pacifies and calms others down, but when configured with the malefics it indicate speech that riles people up and agitates others. Mercury is configured with Venus, who is benefic, soothes, calms, united, and harmonizes. This is actually a really nice configuration going on between these planets. Mercury and Venus are traveling together in signs where both of them have much strength or support. Venus is said to be peregrine in Sagittarius, which can be thought of as a stranger passing through a strange land. Mercury knows that it doesn’t know this territory too well since Mercury is exiled here, but this encounter with Venus sparks a connection and offers some assistance to Mercury to learn about how to communicate love. Mercury shows the topics we desire to communicate with others, and with Venus in Sagittarius, this is about the philosophy of freedom, who does freedom serve, how do we express love when we have been miseducated on what actually is? Venus and Mercury ask the big philosophical questions, seeking wisdom, and to roam freely. Mercury/Venus configurations can be good for things related to art, music, creativity, learning about these things, someone who is skilled in the ways of the arts, poetry, creating beauty with words, and telling a story, a myth, a fantasy. Together, Mercury and Venus give us the power to imagine what a world of love looks like without the acceptance of others violating our sense of privacy and safety (alluding to the eventual opposition to Mars).
Tuesday, Nov 22nd
[3:20 AM ET] INGRESS: The Sun enters Sagittarius
[4:24 PM ET] The Moon in Scorpio opposes Uranus Retrograde at 16º21’ Taurus
[9:32 PM ET] The Moon in Scorpio square Saturn at 19º23’ Aquarius
On Tuesday, the Sun finally ingresses into Sagittarius, moving out of Scorpio and actually finding more dignity in Sagittarius. We see that our knowledge, obtain information, and confidence have a boost going into Sagittarius Season. The Sun is the incarnation of fire, and it does well in the other two Fire Signs: Leo, its domicile, and Aries, it’s exaltation. A fire sign, where the Sun has Dignity by Triplicity, the ancient astrologer analogize this to a person being amongst their friends and allies. We can see this Sagittarius Season’s focus is how do we lend support and help to those in need. Jupiter is very much a planet representing generosity, charity, and giving in a selfless manner. To give into that which helps improve the quality of someone’s life, spirit, and body. The Sun in Sagittarius ruled by the wise Jupiter gives the gift of prophecy, divination, and receiving knowledge from the gods. The Sun being the planet of gnosis and consciousness finds itself in the oracular territory of the mystical Sagittarius. Visions, dreams, and downloads are all potent during this time. One of the major significations Jupiter would get in the ancient world is the interpretation of dreams, so pay attention to your dreams, any visions, or insights you get. All of it is very potent especially as Jupiter is strong at home in Pisces. Sagittarius season demands we go on an adventure, and we explore outside our comfort zone. Sagittarius shows us how we can free our soul, how we can unite our purpose, mind, and body together to create unity and alignment with our destiny. Experience the full range of emotions, express yourself, and share your knowledge with others. Sagittarius is a preach sign so
We see the tensions start to rise even more as the Sun moves into a sign in more accordance with its own nature, fiery, hot, drying, and Sagittarius carries all of these qualities. Sagittarius Season was known to be the season of war (and fighting) because the tensions of justice in Libra would lead to bloodshed in Scorpio and evolve into open conflict in Sagittarius. Some of the major significations of Sagittarius as a sign come from its planetary ruler, Jupiter (who is also important this week)
When doing Mundane Astrology, there are a few charts you should take a look at, like the lunation charts, eclipses, the Aries Ingress, but another important one was the moment the Sun changes signs. Above I’ve casted the chart for Washington, DC as the cultural hegemon of the US and the world in many ways. A few things to note about this chart, the rising is Libra, so we can say that this Sagittarius Season will have a focus specifically on justice, law, fairness, diplomacy, judges, courts, musicians, artist, creatives, young women, advisers, diplomats, event planners and anything else under the scope of Libra. We see that the ruler of the ascendent is Venus in Sagittarius, with the Sun, who is emerging from the beams of the Sun as an evening star for the first time. When a planet emerges from the beams of the Sun, its actions are said to be made public, making a statement, an entrance, and emergence out of hiding. In the 3rd house, these matters of Sagittarius Season will be releated to disputes about religion and law since Venus, Mercury, and the Sun are all getting ready to oppose Mars Retrograde in Gemini. There is some correction, justice, or sense of fairness that Venus is initiating in this fire sign that is being brought to Mars, as the ruler of the 7th, representing enemies and partnerships. The Moon is in Scorpio in the 2nd house, representing an emphasis on scarcity, lack of nourishment, protection or challenges within resources, finances, and with money. All result of either some legislation or corruption within law. I wonder if this has to do with the ongoing issue with El*n M*sk and his violent, erratic, and cruel actions in destroying Twitter and engaging in questionable legal activity regarding worker layoffs. The 3rd house is heavily emphasized so I wonder if this could indicate some disputes and arguments around travel, education, learning, college. I wonder if there some important lawsuit that emerges and finally becomes public as all of these Sagittarius planets challenge Mars. The 3rd house has a reputation for being about religious sites, sacred rites, churches, masjids, temples, places of community and worship. The place of the Moon’s joy, this is where we found people coming together and living communally. It also has a reputation for dealing, as a result, with religious texts, such as the Quran, the Gospel, or the Torah to name a few. Later it became extended to messengers, letters, but also debates about texts, scholarship, writing, and scribes. I wonder if there will be debate over beliefs, religions, scholarship, academia, and journalism. The threat of harm is imminent because Mars is in the opposition which can indicate attacks on these topics, impacting women + youth the most because of Mercury and Venus, violating the social order and creating discord amongst people. Sagittarius Season is very fiery this year, and it only brings those tensions from Scorpio Season to be unleashed and put out in the open. The theme is all about this ongoing tension with justice and cruelty with Venus and Mars. This brings tensions that started in March with the Venus/Mars conjunction at 0º Aquarius to a full culmination.
As this ingress sets the tone for Sagittarius Season, the Moon will be moving towards a square to Saturn in Aquarius, which is an indicator that there is a feeling of vulnerability, lack of security, privacy, and encountering harsh restrictions, scarcity, and limits. The Moon also opposes Uranus which activates the Saturn/Uranus square creating disruption with infrastructure, government, limits, restrictions, and the need for a break-though, change, or revolution. The Moon already Fallen encountering a harsh square to Saturn in Aquarius has us review a lot of the Scorpio transits we’ve had over the past month, bring it to a close, since the Moon is waning, but this also may come with having to set harsh limits, boundaries, austerity, and vocalizing a firm no. This can also indicate physical or bodily injury since the Moon is the body who is not in the best of situations. When the Moon is challenged it can indicate where we don’t feel nourished, actually malnourished, deprived, and being in survival mode. A square to Saturn can indicate issues, pain, or stress with the legs, ankles, knees, and with bones. Take care of your body today and this may mean you have to rest and stop. The Moon may encounter constraints, binds, and feel boxed in. Things might feel somber, serious, fearful, and a little depressing today. Make sure to make room for YOU.
Wednesday, Nov 23rd
[1:15 PM ET] The Moon in Scorpio trine Jupiter Retrograde at 28º47’ Pisces
[3:15 PM ET] INGRESS: The Moon enters Sagittarius
[5:57 PM ET] LUNATION: New Moon at 01º37’ Sagittarius
[6:02 PM ET] STATION: Jupiter stations Direct at 28º47’ Pisces
Wednesday is probably one of the biggest days of this week since the main events are a New Moon in Sagittarius on the day that Jupiter stations Direct in Pisces. Its actually really nice because the abundance of Jupiterian energy fills the day today as the Moon connects with Jupiter through a trine. After encountering restrictions, limits, and obstacles, the Moon is able to find liberation, freedom, and joy from these binds, restrictions, and austerity that gloomed over the day on Wednesday. The Moon is connecting with Jupiter in its domicile, so Jupiter is able to offer support to a disheveled Moon. The theme has been really interesting with all these planets crossing from Scorpio ruled by a Retrograde, averse Mars, and Jupiter is able to help them out at the end of that sign, and offers them assistance in their domicile (Sagittarius).
Besides this, the Moon will enter under the Beams of the Sun in Scorpio, and once she enters Sagittarius, she will conjoin the Sun and be renewed, reset her cycle, plant seeds, wrap up the end of last month and begin the next one. The Moon being under the bond (within the beams of the Sun) is said to be taken in by the beams of the Sun, and her light is very inconsistent during this time. I love what my friend Cameron @omegastrology said about this configuration, its almost like the Moon’s light is flickering, because she’s loosing light and then goes into this period of invisibility and darkness. Shedding skin, releasing all the energy that was left is the theme of the day, and usually I’ve seen New Moon be where people are very tired. This brings a heavy reset to the depletion the Scorpio Moon is bringing us. A nice reset and invigoration of fire, energy, and life is brought with this New Moon in Sagittarius.
There are major new beginnings coming to the house Sagittarius rules, but we really enter into some mutable madness this week and the end of November. For the ingress charts, we must look at the Ascendant, its ruler and any planets that stepped into the Ascendant.
Debates, arguments, open confrontation, rebellion even are all themes for this New Moon since Mars is exactly on the Ascendant while all these Sagittarian planets are in the 7th house. This is something a lot fo the planets will encounter as this Mars Retrograde lingers on, they will all make an opposition to this Mars in Gemini. All of these contradictions, lies, slander, and disinformation that Mars is spreading is combated by the truth seeking, freedom loving Jupiter, who is able to bring much more clarity and understanding about the truth as it stations Direct. There is also an emphasis on religion and matters around faith, especially because these planets are all situated in Jupiter’s sign. After the plots and secrecy in Scorpio comes the fights for growth and expansion in Sagittarius to lay rest during Capricorn and Aquarius season.
Sagittarius is the sign of philosophy, learning, judges, courts, religious sects, astrologers, interpreters of dreams, political alliances, organizations, and affiliations. We can conclude that based on the Syzygy taking place in this sign, we’ll see these people be important, eminent, or notable since it is located up in the 10th house from Jupiter. There could be some sort of attack or fight that is struck with this lunation, either against the religious, with scholars, with courts/judges, with Mars on the Ascendant, or maybe there is a court ruling that doesn’t make sense, or transgresses the rules that is violating/contentious. I wonder if these debates will be over LGBTQ rights, Trans rights, and Women’s rights and misinformation that is being addressed, or a court ruling of some sorts since Venus and Mercury will be together in Sagittarius, signifying women and children.
This is definitely a climax during the later part of the month and this opens up what will be the halfway point in Mars’ Retrograde cycle when the Sun in Sagittarius opposes Mars in Gemini. This actually happens on the night of the Full Moon in Gemini exactly conjoined to Mars, so the inceptions, choices, and decisions made here will definitely spark some outrage or conflict. There is a loudness to this lunation, desire for peace, freedom, and liberality with Jupiter. Venus and Mercury’s conjunction is potent for this lunation, and typically Mercury is said to be benefic when with the benefic planets, and malefic when with the malefic. In a bodily conjunction to Venus, Mercury turns benefic but there is contradiction because theres the affliction of the malefics. Usually Venus + Mercury conjunctions could be talks about love, relationships, give artistic talent, creativity, and eloquence of speech. I wonder how this will play out since Mercury is not in the best of conditions here and approaching a malefic in opposition. There’s a lot of hype and spreading of ideas, information, and philosophy. Needing for action, initiation, and growing, spreading, and expanding nature of fire.
This could also represent a tech outage that takes place too (Twitter). Mars in Gemini in the sign of communication has proven to bring challenges, glitches, bugs, and the corruption of communication + technology. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was this lunation that would have us rethink and revise the ways we communicate, connect with each other, get our news, our information, and how there is an intentional push to disconnect, severe, and cut us off from gaining access to knowledge. It’s interesting to compare this Retrograde in Gemini versus the Venus Retrograde in Gemini 2 years ago (2020) which brought questions of how we are united, bound together, how we can bring and organize people together, whereas this Retrograde is all about how we separate, how there is division based on disinformation, corruption in the truth, and violence within media/news. All of these Sagittarius planets will come to challenge Mars in Gemini, which really activates a lot of strife and tension that Mars brings since all these planets can finally witness Mars after spending around a month in Scorpio.
All of these planets in Sagittarius will be ruled by Jupiter who has returned to Pisces for a brief moment, and today it finally stations Direct after being Retrograde since July 28th, 2022. When Jupiter stations Retrograde, as the planet of faith, expansion, visions, optimism, removing limitations and restrictions, building community, friendship, alliances, freedom, and liberality, it experiences reversals, delays, and hinderances that prevent them from being able to bring about these things. This would’ve required Jupiter to revise, re-look, undo, or even show corruption in the matters that were trying to be completed. All of this is due to the unfinished business Jupiter has in the sign of Pisces, and in looking at your chart, see how the topics of the house Pisces rules in your chart have needed to be reviewed from October 28th to what will be December 20th. Today is an important turning point in that story, but it also marks the completion of the larger Jupiter in Pisces story.
1st Ingress: May 13th, 2021 to July 28th, 2021, 0º-2º Pisces
2nd Ingress: Dec 28th, 2021 to May 10th, 2022, 0º-30º Pisces
Final Ingress: Oct 28th, 2022 to Dec 20th, 2022, 29º-28º Pisces
In the first ingress, the main lesson was about revising faith, revising belief, and changing notions around how you engage with the house Pisces rules since Jupiter stationed Retrograde in Pisces in 2021. In Winter/Spring 2022, Jupiter returned back to Pisces needing to purge, release, let go, and bring its cycle to a full ending, bringing a reset of some sorts to this same house. Now in Fall 2022, we see how there is this realization, revelation, and clarity that is offered as to what actually feels purposeful, meaningful, what invigorates the soul, what we feel devoted to, and how we feel accepted, included, and connected with the collective. Jupiter has these connotations over community, affiliations, alliances, and friends and now that is stations Retrograde, this might be a really important moment for developing new bonds, ties, and connections. A station of any planet can be felt 7 days before and after it stations, so this week is all governed by Jupiter and the hinderances it experienced being removed and forward action can resume. This will be a brief moment of Jupiter being Direct in Pisces, and then it will return back to Aries on December 20th to re-ignite new beginnings, initiation of action, and bring a more certain and confident start to the house Aries rules in your chart. This liminality between beginnings and endings is what the equinoctial axis is about. The restoration of hope, of faith, and of compassion is brought into our lives. Sometimes this means the freedom to move on from situations, finding the freedom to end chapters in our lives, as a way to initiate and begin something new. Coupled with a lunation in Jupiter’s other domicile, it is definitely a sign of some new beginning that is able to provide hope.
Thursday, Nov 24th
[8:25 AM ET] The Moon conjoins Venus at 10º25’ Sagittarius
[9:48 AM ET] The Moon conjoins Mercury at 11º15’ Sagittarius
[11:15 PM ET] The Moon in Sagittarius sextile Saturn at 19º30’ Aquarius’
On Thursday, the Moon will begin to separate from the Sun, increasing in light, and the first two planets it contacts is Venus and Mercury who made their conjunction earlier this week. The Moon will be getting ready to emerge from the Beams of the Sun, returning to the evening sky and becoming visible yet again. I think the symbolism of Mercury conjoining Venus and Mercury is interesting because its almost like the Moon is pulling them out of hiding, out of this period of invisibility, and bringing them out into the public. Venus and Mercury have both been hiding under the beams of the Sun together, having talks about justice, about fairness, philosophy, divination, dreams, and wanting to correct the wrongs they see with Mars in Gemini. Whenever planets emerge from the beams of the Sun, they are said to be making some sort of statement since it is their first appearance. Venus will start to gain luminance and be visible as an evening star, only visible after Sunset at the Western Horizon. Mercury making an appearance indicates the release of statements, documents, important news, letters, and information that will eventually need to be reviewed when Mercury stations Retrograde (Dec. 29th, 2022). Venus making an appearance means the emergences of some partnership, connection, alliance, love interest, introduction of justice, emergence of something creative, artistic, and beautiful. The Moon highlights the connection between these planets and brings them out into the open sphere. The Moon connecting with Venus and Mercury brings their configuration earlier this week momentum, action, and luminance. This is definitely a more relaxing and supportive day as Venus calls us to make friends, find ease in social situations, and spread mirth, joy, and optimism. Mercury calls us to focus on communicating, speaking, studying, writing, divining, interpreting dreams, and synthesizing all the Venusian topics. The Moon connects with Saturn right after this, which allows us to find some pause, seriousness, mourning, somberness, the desire for rest, small blockages and delays, and is an omen to plan for the future & consider consequences of our actions that we feel so fired up to express with the abundance of fire energy. We may find help, guidance, and aid from elders, older folk, the dead, ancient things, and hidden knowledge.
Friday, Nov 25th
[1:35 AM ET] The Moon in Sagittarius opposes Mars Retrograde at 20º56’ Gemini
[4:24 AM ET] The Moon in Sagittarius square Neptune Retrograde at 22º39’ Pisces
[2:21 PM ET] The Moon in Sagittarius square Jupiter at 28º48’ Pisces
[2:21 PM ET] VOC MOON BEGINS: 49hrs 10m, 28º Sagittarius to 28º Capricorn, 30º01’
[4:18 PM ET] INGRESS: The Moon enters Capricorn
On Friday, after the Moon connects with Saturn, it will come to a fierce opposition with Mars in Gemini, which activates the contention, contests, competition, violence, aggression, attacks, loud screams, shouting, accidents, and sudden events. The morning into the night brings a lot of tension and can be quite dangerous for bodily and health matters since the Moon is being maltreated by a malefic from a contentious aspect. The Moon will bridge the square between Neptune and Mars together, dispersing out attention and action, making things confusing, blurry, and not completely clear. The Moon will connect with Jupiter through a square after, which can magnify a lot of the tension Mars has been bringing, but Jupiter is the domicile lord of the Moon, so it can offer some support, acceptance, wisdom, friendship, and alliance to alleviate the tension Mars has brought. This will come with some challenge in faith, belief, and requires re-adjustment. This will be the last aspect the Moon connects with before she goes void for the next 49 hours and 10 minutes, until Sunday. Its actually funny too because she will be void from the aspect of Jupiter, and the next aspect she makes is to Jupiter but through a sextile.
Saturday, Nov 26th
What does it mean for the Moon to be Void? There are actually 3 different definitions according to different astrologers. The general definition and interpretation of the Moon being Void is that for a certain distance, the Moon will not connect with any planets by any aspects, and as a result it indicates nothing happening, no events taking place, delays, pauses, and stillness. The Moon was said to be the planet that transmits the celestial influences to earth, and allows them to materialize as actual events and circumstances. If the Moon is void, she isn’t transmitting anything, and no influence can be brought down. Ancient astrologers had lots of anxiety about the void moon because it was inauspicious to begin or start new projects. Some contemporary astrologers have claimed it is good for doing existing projects, but I disagree with this claim. There are many instances where I have witnessed people (and myself included) continue existing projects under the void moon and the work that was done either gets discarded, not used, erased, or changed. Any actions, regardless of its beginning or ending will not develop further outside of the void. In terms of defining the void moon, some astrologers had different ideas. I tend to use all 3 definitions in my practice, and sometimes the definitions will overlap and if all 3 do overlap, I call it True Void. The Moon is said to be void when:
Hellenistic Definition: It does not connect with any planets for a full 30º (the length of one zodiac sign)
Medieval Definition: It does not connect with any planets before it reaches the end of the sign and transfers into the next
William Lilly Definition: It does not connect with any planets for a range of 13º (the average amount of degrees the Moon travels in one day).
In the case of this void Moon, it will be void from 28º Sagittarius to 28º Capricorn, which is a full 30º. This satisfies the first and second requirement. Because the Moon will not connect with any planets before it leaves Sagittarius, it will also be void as well too. This void moon is True Void which makes it extra inauspicious to engage in any activity that is important and meaningful, any activity that you want the influences to carry forward and grow. The void moons are really best for doing… well nothing. Go about your day as regular if you can, whether it be with work or anything else. I usually clean my house during the void moons or catch up on other things around the house that need maintenance. The Moon will be in Capricorn, ruled by Saturn, which can have us feeling physically exhausted, tired, stretched to our limits, and needing rest, pause, and to relax. Saturn typically gives these extremes of hard labor, work, and exhaustion, as well as inactivity, sluggishness, and the inability to move. The Moon being void looks like an omen to do nothing, even though we may feel the impulse to get work done. The void and nothingness can make us feel quite exhausted and like we want the energy to just shift already. On, Sunday it will.
Sunday, Nov 27th
[3:11 PM ET] VOC MOON ENDS
[3:11 PM ET] The Moon conjoins Jupiter at 28º49’ Pisces
[5:06 PM ET] INGRESS: The Moon enters Aquarius
The Moon will still be running through the void through most of Sunday, and it completes when the Moon makes a sextile to Jupiter in Pisces. After finding some challenge with faith, trust, vows, honesty, and truth, Jupiter is able to offer some assistance to the Moon, and its kinda of interesting because Jupiter is the only planet that can actually witness the Moon in Capricorn right now. Some aid from a friend, ally, or Jovial individual (teacher, priest, judge, diviner) could help us out today, and as a result, helps to shift the energy as the Moon enters the Fixed Air sign Aquarius towards the end of the day. The Moon won’t be connecting with any other planets for the rest of the day, which makes things a little quiet but the Moon will be moving towards a sextile with the Sun in Sagittarius which brings an opening and introduction to this next lunation cycle. The Sun gives us knowledge, wisdom, prophecy, leadership, the ability to be recognized, understood, and seen by others. It motivates us to take command, leadership, and put our thoughts into action that we’re planted earlier this week. It’s going to require some labor and pushing past some important road blocks as the Moon enters the domain of Saturn, where they are at currently. More on that next week though.
My friend Alyssia is having a raffle to raise money for the extremely expensive dental bill she has been hit with. She has 4 cracked teeth and a gum infection and things are getting worse. Urgent care is needed and the bill she has gotten was after negotiations and labor to bring down the cost. On top of being recently laid off, this is urgent. I’ve provided links so you can support her health, teeth, and have her get the care she deserves. Below you’ll find what you can win in the raffle!

I’m wrapping up my Black Friday sale for the holidays this week. It will run through over the weekend into next Monday. Slots have filled up pretty fast for the beginning of December, and until December fills up, I’m going to block off January temporarily to finalize my updated consultations for 2023. Pre-booking news will be available soon. It’s been very exciting to go over 2023 with my clients as we bring this year to a close, and I’d love to talk to you about how you can prepare for the year ahead!
