Week 44: November 2022 Week 1, The Week Ahead Horoscope
We're in the THICK of Eclipse Season, and this week brings further developments as the Moon is increasing in luminance. A Pisces Moon brings some balm to smooth things out temporarily.
Introduction
Wednesday, Nov 2nd
[7:08 AM ET] The Moon in Aquarius trine Mars Retrograde at 25º33’ Gemini
[2:46 PM ET] INGRESS: The Moon enters Pisces
On Wednesday, the Moon will be moving through the later part of Aquarius, and it encounters a trine to Mars in Gemini who just stationed Retrograde. As the Moon applies and connects with Mars, it brings revelations and realizations about important changes and adjustments that need to be made in regards to work, labor, energy, and motivation. Mars stationing Retrograde indicates that there needs to be a change in how we engage in these topics, and this will be the theme for the next 2 months with the Moon’s aspects to Mars. Mars can energize and spur actions, impulsiveness, and energy, but it may feel a little more sluggish and with less energy. Burnout is real.
Afterwards, the Moon enters Pisces where it will be swimming through for most of the day. The Moon goes from the Fixed and stabilizing Air sign, fixing our ideas, stabilizing conventions, and bringing a heavier vibe when it conjoined Saturn on Tuesday. The Moon moving into a Mutable Sign requires more change and adaptability for the next few days, and especially as the Moon enters a Water Sign. Water as an element is fluid, also changeable and adaptable, and it gives us an opportunity to tap into our emotions and feelings for the rest of the week. Pisces as a sign deals with indulgence, peace, unity, faith, religion, devotion, and love. We may find these topics relevant for the next few weeks.
Thursday, Nov 3rd
[3:43 AM ET] The Moon in Pisces trine Mercury at 07º30’ Scorpio
[10:00 AM ET] The Moon in Pisces trine The Sun at 11º07’ Scorpio
[3:42 PM ET] The Moon in Pisces trine Venus at 14º24’ Scorpio
On Thursday, the Moon will make a trine to Mercury in Scorpio, and since Mercury is in the overcoming trine, it delivers news, information, texts, and letters. All of the Water Signs are deeply mystical signs, especially Pisces and Scorpio, and this would be a moment where we are able to find spiritual or religious insight. Mercury in Scorpio talks about the unseen, hidden, and occult and passes this knowledge to the Moon in Pisces who is ruled by Jupiter, the planet of interpreting dreams, omens, and cultivating faith. The Moon will make a trine to the Sun in Pisces after, which is a good omen since the aspect between these planets are in harmony. After the harshness and the somber nature of the Moon in Aquarius with Saturn squaring the Sun in Scorpio, which highlights the increasing growth of the cold as the Autumn settles in, the Moon in Pisces shows the need to make adjustments, changes, forgiveness, and seeking unity instead of isolation. The Moon in a trine to the Sun gives illumination, recognition, understanding, and gnosis. The Moon gives us a clear understanding of what adjustments and changes need to be made as it is in the mutable sign, and where we need to be more fluid and open to change, contrasting with the fixed and rigid nature of Aquarius. The Moon will then make a trine to Venus in Scorpio which can be helpful for Venus, since the Moon is in the sign of Venus’ exaltation, so there is some reception here between these planets. The Moon is able to understand the challenging position Venus is in, being combust, exiled in Scorpio, and ruled by a Retrograde planet. Where we may have felt things are tense and really one-sided in partnerships and relationships ever since Venus enters Scorpio, this offers some nice balm, whether it means letting go and releasing something, or if it means finding compassion, sympathy, and forgiveness since the Moon is in Jupiter’s sign. Thursday is definitely an emotional day and it feels like a great cathartic release of fixed, stagnant emotions and energy in the body. The Moon loosens our hearts up and allows for acceptance to find its way in the place of pain.
Friday, Nov 4th
[6:33 AM ET] The Moon conjoins Neptune at 22º53’ Pisces
[11:03 AM ET] The Moon in Pisces square Mars Retrograde at 25º25’
[6:05 PM ET] The Moon conjoins Jupiter Retrograde at 29º25’ Pisces
[7:06 PM ET] INGRESS: The Moon enters Aries
While the Moon in Pisces on Thursday is a lot more agreeable and easy since the only aspects yesterday were trines, today the Moon will be moving towards a conjunction with Neptune, which highlights confusion, sometimes delusion, not seeing things clearly and there being influences that distort our perception or understanding of the truth. This comes as the Moon moves towards a square with Mars Retrograding in Gemini, and in this configuration, the Moon and Mars are mutually moving towards each other, like two cars driving towards each other, or two rams butting heads, there is some important conflict and confrontation that is highlighted, and it could be due to disinformation, lies, slander, and information that agitates and inflames our mind. Arguments, verbal conflict, and tension can arise during this time. Be mindful of if you’re actually have the facts or if you’re just confused. Hint, the answer is confusion. A square from the Moon to Mars can definitely bring injury, so make sure you’re not over-exerting yourself and being reckless with your body today. Mars is disrupting the party and bring quickness, urgency, and potential reckless behavior. Be careful on the roads and while traveling. There is a layer of protection here because the Moon is then going to move towards a conjunction with Jupiter in Pisces, which brings support, acceptance, devotion, wisdom, and a renewal of faith. This will be the first time the Moon will conjoin Jupiter since Jupiter entered Pisces, and its one of the transits that brings revision and change to the house Pisces rules in your chart. Jupiter visited Pisces early in the year, but it ingressed into Aries and on October 28th, it retrogressed back into Pisces, where there is unfinished business that needs to be taken care of. Jupiter returning back to this house signifies the removal of limitations, restrictions, and alleviating sorrow or hardship in this house. The Moon meeting with Jupiter is always an auspicious moment, and especially since this is a bodily conjunction, and these planets are in reception with each other. It looks like receiving genuine support, help, to alleviate the challenges signified by Mars in Gemini. Things end on a more positive and hopeful note. The Moon then enters Aries towards the end of the day, which will be ruled by Mars, which inspires more action, urgency, and new beginnings.
Saturday, Nov 5th
[6:21 PM ET] Venus in Scorpio opposes Uranus Retrograde at 17º03’ Taurus
On Saturday, the Moon will move through Aries, which quickens the pace for the weekend. It makes us inclined to anger, impulse, taking swift action, courage, and it emboldens our heart. The Moon wont connect with any planets today, so it makes things a little more chill. The only aspect that does happen today is Venus in Scorpio will oppose Uranus in Taurus, which highlights breakthroughs, unexpected changes, and disruptions within our relationships, partnerships, and sense of comfort. Uranus adds additional volatility and unpredictability to Venus’s ability to bring harmony and unity. Uranus is in Venus’ sign (Taurus), and Venus being in exile can highlight issues with sustenance, resources, shelter, and bring another development to the ongoing issue of supply chain shortages and instability with resources.
Sunday, Nov 6th
[4:43 AM ET] The Moon in Aries sextile Saturn at 18º45’ Aquarius
[4:29 PM ET] The Moon in Aries sextile Mars Retrograde at 25º13’ Gemini
On Sunday, the Moon will be moving through the later half of Aries, and it will actually experience a malefic enclosure once it connects with Saturn. I expect this to feel quite uncomfortable, just because the Moon in Aries can represent an impulse to initiate and to begin things, striking a match that sparks a flame in our minds, but we encounter some gentle restrictions from Saturn. Saturn represses and it inhibits, creating lack of motion, and the Moon connecting with Saturn encourages rest, pausing, and a minor delay. The Moon will then move to connect with Mars after, and one of things I’ve been noticing when the Moon interacts with these planets is that it introduces a delay with Saturn, but then we have some ability to take action and feel energized afterwards once the Moon connects with Mars. It’s a contrasting feeling, the extreme of Saturn being cold, and the extreme of Mars with their heat. We may find ourselves more inclined towards expressing anger, frustration, and needing to make revisions and changes in the house Gemini rules as the Moon connects with its domicile lord (Mars in Gemini), who is also Retrograde. There is an emphasis on revising or changing the way we handle our words, the quickness of the tongue, and frustration we can experience. The Moon is giving the nature of Mars from Aries over to Mars in Gemini to offer some support and action as to what beginnings and initiations we need to take. Mars in Gemini can feel quite bound, restricted, and having an inability to take action, but the Moon sparks Mars up, maybe its a blunt, maybe its a campfire, but skillfulness comes in handy today. The malefic planets bring things to extremes so be careful of going over the top or over the edge today, it could indicate violence or lead to recklessness. The sextile isn’t too harsh, so it doesn’t look like anything major, but it could indicate a slap in the face, literally or metaphorically. The cause of conflict can either be with the hands or the tongue, both represented by Mars in Gemini. The Moon will square Pluto after, which can bring tension, highlight unfair power dynamics, and can make us feel irritated and pulled between action and restriction/control.
