Introduction
Introduction
Welcome to the Week Ahead Horoscope everyone. This week is a week where many things are being brought to light, and we have the opportunity to tap into emotional introspection and clarity by the end of the week. The Moon will be moving from Sagittarius to Pisces through the week, and culminating in brightness on the Full Moon this Wednesday. This Full Moon in Capricorn brings Pluto and Saturn both to the spotlight and asks us to reflect on where we’re finding major imbalanced in power dynamics, and where we are finding lack of support, in the house Capricorn rules in our chart. This Full Moon will be opposite Mercury as well, which brings brings contrary news, news that creates conflict and tension. Venus will make a trine to Saturn which helps to bring more stability and grounding to our relationships and social interactions, but then things take a confusing turn once Venus squares Neptune. You may find it difficult to speak up this week and use your voice. Mercury will be in a challenged position and growing in those challenges this week as Mercury is officially under the beams of the Sun. When a planet gets within 15º of the Sun, it is said to be Under the Beams, and when it gets within 7º of the Sun, it is said to be Combust. When a planet is either under the beams or combust, it is said to be weakened and overpowered by the Sun, so that the planet is exhausted and frustrated in its efforts to do anything. However when a planet is within 17' (arc minutes, 17/60th of a degree), the planet is said to be Cazimi and in the heart of the Sun, a place where the planet is elevated, all of its qualities are amplified and brought to the forefront of our consciousness. The planet finds great strength in the Heart of the Sun. Mercury will be Combust for most of this week, and on top of Mercury being in a Water Sign, which was traditionally considered a mute sign (as in they don’t speak), the literal signification behind challenges with communication and ironing out the concrete details about our wavering emotions. However on Saturday is where we find a moment of clarity and understanding about what it is we are trying to communicate when we become empowered by Mercury entering into the Heart of the Sun in Cancer. By the end of the week, Venus will enter Cancer and it changes the pace of the Astro Weather to be extremely watery.

[7:47 PM ET] The Moon in Sagittarius sextile Saturn at 24º11' Aquarius
[9:42 PM ET] The Moon in Sagittarius square Neptune at 25º23' Pisces
The Moon opposes Venus on Monday evening, and it activates the trine between Venus and Saturn going on. The Moon opposing Venus looks like finding an opportunity to refine creative projects, revise, contracts, agreements and commitments, as well as gatherings with friends, lovers, and engaging in pleasurable activities. The Moon in Sagittarius brings the vision and thoughts of creativity swirling in our mind to life. Monday is a very creatively inspiring day, as the Moon will be apply to Venus all day. The Moon gets to contact Saturn and we feel prompted to rest by the end of the day. Finally, the Moon makes a square to Neptune today which can bring our dreams to a full culminating moment. Expressing and sharing one’s truth is the theme when Jupiter is activated, and this Sagittarius Moon is the last on while Jupiter is Direct. We get an opportunity to reorient and reframe perspective to prepare for when Jupiter stations Retrograde at the end of the month, bringing deepening of perspective and re-evaluation of truth, faith, and belief in the house Aries rules in your chart.
Tuesday, July 12th
[5:01 AM ET] INGRESS: The Moon enters Capricorn
[1:12 PM ET] The Moon in Capricorn trine Mars at 05º11' Taurus
[6:07 PM ET] The Moon in Capricorn square Jupiter at 08º18' Aries
On Tuesday, the Moon enters Capricorn and will finally move into the sign where it will become Full. I always think the Moon’s transit through the entire sign is always important, especially the aspects it makes leading up to the Full Moon, because those will especially highlight what is being release or illuminated in its fullness by the Moon. The Moon is Exiled in Capricorn, and one of the things that it makes me think about is how the Moon typically likes changes and fluctuations, but in Capricorn, the slow environment feels like a long delay. The Moon find itself optimistic and cherry in Cancer with the influence of Jupiter’s Exaltation, warm and ready to hug everyone. Where in Capricorn, Saturn and Mars are the rulers of this sign, which are anything but hugs and cuddles. Although Mars in Capricorn is said to be represented as a purring cat by Abu Ma’shar, according to Dr. Ali A Olomi. The Moon will make a trine to Mars, and typically this can be energizing, motivating us to get to take action, but because a trine indicates the ease of connection between these planets, it can also represent the ability for conflict, violence, and tension to manifest quickly. However because Mars is exiled in Taurus and Mars is the Exalted ruler of the Full Moon in Capricorn, it makes me think that this is a Mars who actually doesn’t want to do anything and it highlights fatigue. The Moon trining Mars in an Earth sign, and both planets are actually apart of the Earth triplicity, so there is cooperation between these planets, as well as reception. Actually, it is a mutual reception. Mars is in the Moon’s exaltation, and the Moon is in Mars’ Exaltation. Both planets, even though they may find themselves in situations where they are inconsistent in their ability to bring about the things they represent, they can compromise and work together to make create a physical product. Capricorn is all about how through sheer tenacity, they can create anything and accomplish anything they want. Mars in Earth signs is able to take this passion and transmute it into a material output. This is a very grounded Mars who will take on maybe daunting and undesired tasks, but it still has support. Especially when the Moon squares Jupiter. The Moon brings the ambition of Jupiter to a full culmination in the overcoming square, and provides us with the necessary push to get things going. We find that our efforts shine positive results. Whatever is initiated with the trine to Mars will grow greater as the Moon squares Jupiter, connecting Mars in Taurus and Jupiter in Aries together, even though they are in aversion (no aspect). This is a moment where Mars is given support to be more direct, combative, confront issues and situations with urgency and swiftness.
Wednesday, July 13th
[12:27 AM ET] Venus in Gemini trine Saturn Retrograde at 24º07' Aquarius
[7:58 AM ET] The Moon in Capricorn opposes Mercury at 17º07' Cancer
[2:37 PM ET] LUNATION: Full Moon at 21º21’ Capricorn
[8:16 PM ET] Mercury in Cancer sextile Uranus at 18º13' Taurus
On Wednesday, Venus makes a trine to Saturn which is one of the defining aspects for this Full Moon, since Wednesday is also the day of the Full Moon. The Moon will be ruled by Saturn Retrograding at 24º Aquarius, which puts Saturn’s Retrograde as the highlight of these Full Moons for the next 2 months (August’s Full Moon will be conjoined to Saturn). Saturn currently Retrograde is taking some time to review and revise where foundations are stable, and those revisions come into contact with how we socialize and the relationships we have. Saturn will be looking and revising at the stability between the connection between others socially. This can be a great aspect for making firm commitments and agreements between others. However, the Moon also opposes Mercury today, which brings an abundance of conversation, information, and talks about our feelings. Getting grounded in the body and feeling our thoughts is what this opposition is about. There are thoughts and ideas we have that are finally being given a chance to put the spotlight on them, especially since this week Mercury is very combust and weakened, making it hard to speak up. You might feel hurried, rushed, and mentally in a frenzy, so make sure you have a mental cleanse during this Full Moon. Whether that looks like journaling or talking out your feelings, it’s important to release and see what comes to light.
Thursday, July 14th
[12:16 AM ET] The Moon conjoins Pluto Retrograde at 27º29' Capricorn
[1:24 AM ET] Venus in Gemini square Neptune Retrograde at 25º22' Pisces
[4:13 AM ET] INGRESS: The Moon enters Aquarius
[2:38 PM ET] The Moon in Aquarius square Mars at 06º35' Taurus
[5:29 PM ET] The Moon in Aquarius sextile Jupiter at 08º23' Aries
Into the night of this Full Moon in Capricorn, we see the Moon conjoins Pluto Retrograding in Capricorn, which brings secrets, hidden things, and the imbalance in power dynamics between people to light and to the surface. Casting a light onto underlying or hidden motives. Things get really fuzzy and confusing in relationships after Saturn just brought clarity because Venus squares Neptune, which can bring disillusionment to different aspects of our relationships. Boundaries and lines become blurry and hazy, even though things were just cleared up. The Moon enters Aquarius and starts waning, and upon that ingress, she meets a square to Mars in Taurus. Whenever the Moon squares Mars it can represent injuries and accidents from the body, such as getting scraped, burns, fights, and physical conflict. This can make things combative and confrontational, but also feeling very stubborn. You might find support, help, and insight from a friend to deal with this conflict.
Friday, July 15th
[9:15 AM ET] The Moon in Aquarius square Uranus at 18º16' Taurus
[6:27 PM ET] The Moon conjoins Saturn Retrograde at 23º58' Aquarius
As we head into the beginning of the weekend, the Moon conjoins Uranus, it shakes up our routines, disrupts our day, and brings interruptions. The Moon will be applying to a conjunction throughout all of the day, who is the Lord of the Eclipse. This will be the first transit of the Moon through Aquarius (or Taurus) that activates this Mars/Saturn square thats buildup up for all of July (even into August). The Moon conjoining Saturn which makes the tone much more serious for the day. Saturn wants us to think about stability, infrastructure, and deepen our knowledge. The Moon is carrying the light from both Mars and Uranus towards Saturn, being a force of change to limits, boundaries, and restrictions. Limitations and blockages are encountered all day, and as a result, things are moving pretty slow, at least until the Moon conjoins Saturn. It is good day to take care of your responsibilities and take care of work. After the Moon conjoins Saturn, it applies to trine Venus before it exits out of Gemini. It’s like Saturn is saying, you can’t go outside and play yet, you have responsibilities to take care of (look at the house Aquarius rules in your chart). After this conjunction, Saturn grants you permission to have fun and indulge, but not today, tomorrow.
Saturday, July 16th
[12:36 AM ET] The Moon in Aquarius trine Venus at 27º44' Gemini
[4:18 AM ET] INGRESS: The Moon enters Pisces
[3:37 PM ET] SYNODIC CYCLE: Mercury conjoins the Sun (Cazimi) at 24º15º Cancer
[5:37 PM ET] The Moon in Pisces sextile Mars at 08º02' Taurus
In contrast to Friday, where Saturn wants us to slow down and hone in on the structural issues in the house Aquarius rules in our chart, the Moon makes a beautiful trine to Venus in Gemini throughout all of Saturday night. This is great for love, social situations, making art, creativity, sex, and exchanging ideas between people. The Moon enters Pisces which ushers in a wave of planets in Water signs for this weekend. We may feel all over the place and very wishy washy, especially since the two most unstable out of the 3 water signs are highlighted: Mutable and Cardinal Water, Pisces and Cancer. In addition to that, Mercury will conjoins the Heart of the Sun today. Saturday is our next day where we find some realizations and get to the heart of matters in the house that Cancer rules in our chart. We may find that we receive a message, letter, or information about the affairs that house rules in our chart. After feeling unable to communicate and express our feelings while Mercury is combust, those thoughts and feelings are able to be articulated today. When planets come to the heart of the Sun, it represents that the topics of that planet are being brought to the forefront of our consciousness (Sun). These revelations and realizations allow us to put more plans into motion and take action as the Moon makes a sextile to Mars by the end of the day.
Sunday, July 17th
[3:52 AM ET] Mercury in Cancer trine Neptune at 25º20' Pisces
[6:55 PM ET] The Sun in Cancer trine Neptune at 25º20' Pisces
[9:32 PM ET] INGRESS: Venus enters Cancer.
[11:06 PM ET] The Moon conjoins Neptune at 25º20' Pisces
[11:25 PM ET] The Moon in Pisces trine The Sun at 25º31' Cancer
As we move into Sunday, both Mercury and the Sun make trines to Neptune, which can provide a lot of insight and wisdom into how we can achieve our dreams, what dreams are realistic, what is an illusion and what is a projection, versus what is real. One analogy I love that the amazing Samylda Charles brought up is the relationship between sound and how it moves from Air through Water.

When planets are in Water Signs, things are changeable, malleable, and fluctuation since Water has no inherent form of its own. Our ideas can feel the same way, and when we think about Mercury and the Sun trine Neptune, it means this malleability allows us to shape our perspective to imagine things for the better or worse. The Moon will also conjoin Neptune today, so confront illusion, disillusionment, and confusion. Its easy to feel disoriented and taken to a different reality today. Neptune can do this by disorting our perception of reality, making things blurry and confusing if things are taken past a safe limit, which is what the outer aim to defy (the limits). The Moon does make a beautiful trine to the Sun in Cancer, which brings wisdom, illumination, recognition, and understanding from the Pisces house of our chart, to the Cancer ruled house. On this day too, Venus also enters Cancer, where Venus becomes more extraverted and like a social butterfly, to valuing more intimate and private moments with friends and lovers. Cancer tends to love a close knit circle, and it makes Sunday a very nostalgic and emotional day. We start to feel more fluidity be added to our relationships, and smoothness, both qualities Venus inherently has as it is Cold and Wet. After this moment of clarity, and receiving good news with the Mercury Cazimi, the good news IS Venus, who brings more balance, reconciliation, and pleasure to the house Cancer rules in our chart. Now that Mars has moved out of Aries, there is less stress Venus has to deal with in her run through Cancer this time around.
