“I so appreciated my Year Ahead Annual Forecast reading with Max and highly recommend him for a astrology reading! Max explained his forecast for my year ahead in great detail and in a way that is digestible. He is knowledgable and looks at the year ahead in a holistic way-sharing themes he notices from looking at the natal, Firdaria, Profections, and solar return charts. I also really appreciate his willingness to answer any additional questions or anxieties post-reading. So much gratitude for my time with Max and his insight as to what the year ahead will entail.”

“What a brilliant and insightful reading. I can tell Blaze is very passionate about astrology and it certainly shows through his work, he knows his stuff! I booked a year ahead reading, he used techniques such as the solar revolution and profections, providing very detailed interpretations of how things will play out in my life, also how it’s interacting with my natal chart. If you are not too familiar with these techniques and terms then Blaze will give you explanations for everything means, so you don’t have to worry in regards to that. He’s friendly, and again very knowledgeable, so I felt comfortable and assured during the reading. I was also introduced to a couple new techniques that I thought were pretty spot on, I’m definitely going to be looking into these. I’m very happy with everything overall and happy I chose to come to Blaze for a reading! I feel like now I have more direction and an idea of what to be focusing on this year. If I decide I want another reading in the future, it will for sure be with Blaze.”

Monday, July 3rd
[12:43 AM ET] The Moon in Capricorn sextile Saturn Retrograde at 07º00’ Pisces
[5:02 AM ET] The Moon in Capricorn trine Jupiter at 09º41’ Taurus
[7:38 AM ET] LUNATION: Full Moon at 11º18’ Capricorn
[10:09 AM ET] MANZIL 23: The Moon enters Sa’d Bal’ 12º51’ Capricorn
[12:49 PM ET] The Moon in Capricorn opposes Mercury at 14º32’ Cancer
On Monday, the Moon will continue to move through Capricorn and it makes a sextile to Saturn in Pisces as the first aspect of the day. The Moon making a sextile to Saturn slows down the pace of the day, but also makes us very aware of the delays found in the house Pisces rules in your chart. Saturn’s Retrograde station means that there may be long lasting delays and obstacles that are found within this house. Saturn is the ruler of this lunation, but it is not alone in aspecting the Moon. The Moon will then make a trine to Jupiter, which is very fortunate for this lunation. While Saturn and the environment of Capricorn add a melancholic and tired tone, Jupiter offers some alleviation from these burdens, wisdom, and relief from burdens. It is also a fortunate because the Moon is in the bound of Jupiter, making a trine to its bound lord.
I also think a lot about how this Full Moon in particular highlights the relationship between Saturn and Jupiter, who will be in a sign based sextile for as long as Jupiter is in Taurus. Their sextile went exact on June 18th, 2023. Saturn and Jupiter’s cycle have a lot to do with changes in law, governence, political parties, and alliances (Jupiter), and government, structures, foundations, religions, dynasties, and what is long and enduring (Saturn). Typically in world astrology we look at their conjunctions to understand more about 20 year cycles of changes in leaders, government, and law. We can even expand this to 240 years to describe epochs in history. Or 960 years to describe eras in history. But when we take a look at the conjunctions, in the 20 year period that they initiate, we can look at the aspects between these planets to tell us about the exposition of changes promised by their indications.
The Saturn Jupiter conjunction in Aquarius in 2020 marked the initiation into the Epoch of Air, lasting 199 years until 2219. This is the conjunction indicating the triplicity shift from the Earth signs to the Air signs. The next 10 conjunctions will take place in Air signs over the next 199 years. In Aquarius, Dr Olomi tells us that it indicates the fragmenting of empires, the fall of old empires and rise of new ones, the establishing of orthodoxies and tradition, and the corruption of the air. Whenever we examine sextiles in relationship to the other planets, sextiles are often indicative of the exposition of events, or the closure of them. If the theme of the next 20 years is indicative of the fragmenting of empires, this sextile is a moment in history where we see this take place. The Supreme Court’s decision to overturn affirmative action, overturn student loan forgiveness, and deciding it legal for businesses to discriminate against LGBTQ+ individuals makes shows the first signs of fragments and cracks in the empire, bulding on top of when Saturn and Jupiter were sextile in Aquarius/Aries in May 2022 when Roe v Wade was overturned. This is the moment of the Full Moon in Capricorn, bringing to light corruption, greed, and the malevolence of those in institutional power. Capricorn is also a sign that is heavily associated with plots and schemes, organizing power, and inevitable change due to this being the exaltation of Mars. The Moon is always symbolic of the people, and the Moon is in its Exile in Capricorn. Capricorn has connotations to those who have been forgotten and abandoned by society and a Full Moon in this sign brings the challenges to a full illumination. A lot of power dynamics are illuminate under this full moon, secrets are illuminated, and all that is hidden rises to the surface. Capricorn has connotations of secrets as well. This Full Moon highlights the emergence of new orthodoxies promised by the Saturn/Jupiter conjunction, and how those will find contention and be challenged once Jupiter enters Gemini and squares Saturn in Pisces in 2024. The people’s condition is frustrated with the Moon in Capricorn.
The Moon will then enter the 23rd Lunar Mansion, Sa’d Bal’. Al Buni tells us this mansion is mixed in its fortune, it is suitable for speaking and approaching elders, sowing crops, it is good for crossing rivers, digging wells, and performing heavy labor. These are all very Capricorn related topics. Al Buni mentions that it is also suitable for going on outings, hosting, and preparing banquets. One transit that has been happening throughout the entire previous week and this enxt week is that Mercury is underneath the beams, combust, and consumed by fire. Communication, technology, translating, and knowledge are all weakened during this time. Matters of money, commerce, and finances are brought to light as the Moon will oppose Mercury. This Full Moon can highlight stress that we feel in our nervous sytem. Mercury throughout this entire week will be making an exit out of the beams, eventually when it enters Leo. In many ways, the intensity from the Sun will start to loosen up in regards to Mercury topics. This really is a big moment for the Full Moon, and the topics she is highlighting are all very heavy, burdensome, and serious. Capricorn highlights the overworked, underpaid, and frustration of being abanonded, forgotten, and exiled.
Moving forward into the rest of the day, the Moon will be void as she will no longer connect with any more planets. Take this time to rest, avoid beginning or starting activites, if there are plans that you have going on, do not be surprised if they do not come to fruition. It is better to wait until the Moon enters Aquarius
Tuesday, July 4th
[6:41 AM ET] MANZIL 24: The Moon enters Sa’d al-Su’ud 25º42’ Capricorn
[1:29 PM ET] INGRESS: The Moon enters Aquarius
After the Moon wanders through the void of Capricorn for the beginning part of Tuesday, bringing a lethargic, tired, and serious disposition. The Moon will then transition the airy sign of Aquarius, which is a much more social environment than Capricorn who can be quite exclusionary and antisocial. The Moon entering a fixed sign brings patience, solemnity, and depth of thought. One of the major Saturnian characteristics is contemplation, patience, and inactivity, and a lot of this is placed in the mental sphere as Aquarius is an Air Sign. The Moon will continue to not connect with any planets today, so expect plans to be inactive. The Moon wont be completely void though, since she will be applying towards a square to Jupiter in Taurus. The Moon will enter the 24th Lunar Mansion, Sa’d al-Su’ud which is said to be the star in the left shoulder of Aquarius and the Tail of Capricorn. Fortunate in nature due to the prefix, Sa’d. Al Buni tells us that this mansion is suitable for all deeds, specifically love, affection, and reconciling the hearts between people. Works of love are said to be supported while the Moon is in this mansion. As well as meeting with kings, cheifs, and notable people. Aquarius as a sign is good for making peace and for the ending of fighting, since it is one of the air signs associated with connectivity. There isn’t too much activity that is going on today with the Moon in Aquarius— and thats how Saturn is— contemplative, patient, and observent.
Wednesday, July 5th
[3:09 AM ET] MANZIL 25: The Moon enters Sa’d al-Akhbiyah 8º34’ Aquarius
[5:28 AM ET] The Moon in Aquarius square Jupiter at 10º01’ Taurus
[11:43 PM ET] MANZIL 26: The Moon enters Al Fargh Al-Muqaddim 21º25’ Aquarius
On Wednesday, the Moon will enter the 25th Lunar Mansion, and Al Buni tells us that this mansion stirs up sedition, seperation, hatred, and division. He also says that deeds that are done do not reach fruition and if they come to completetion, they do not work out. Magic, talismans, alchemy, and workings are said to be inauspicious in this mansion. The Moon will applying towards a square with Jupiter throughout the entire morning which offers knowledge, wisdom, alleviation from burdens, insight, and religious/spiritual knowledge. This aspect of Jupiter shows it would be obtained through contention, since it is a square. This can bring challenges with oaths, commitments, and trust. However, Jupiter can also show generosity, friendliness, and freedom. The Moon in Aquarius shows the potential for ideas and contemplation, but the square to Jupiter in Taurus is all about how you’re going to materialize those ideas and make them tangible, experiential, and physical. There is a lot of that contrast between what is abstract and in the air with what is physical and what you can touch. This square urges the reconciliation of the two. The Moon will enter the 26th Lunar Mansion by the end of the night, and will remain in this mansion throughout the entirty of Thursday ET. Al Buni tells us that this mansion is auspicious, and it increases libido, inflames lust, loving relationships, and cheers up souls with friendship. This is also supported by the Moon being enclosed between both benefics, since it will be moving from a square to Jupiter, and apply towards oppose to Venus tomorrow.
Thursday, July 6th
[3:37 AM ET] The Moon in Aquarius opposes Venus at 23º51’ Leo
[9:41 AM ET] The Moon in Aquarius opposes Mars at 27º37’ Leo
[1:32 PM ET] INGRESS: The Moon enters Pisces
[8:31 PM ET] MANZIL 27: The Moon enters Al Fargh Al-Mu’akhkhir
On Thursday, night the Moon in Aquarius will make an opposition to Venus early in the morning. The Moon brings contention and conflict as she makes an opposition to Venus, but Venus is a benefic planet, so she does promise at the end of the toil, there would be friendship, joy, laughter, and pleasure. The opposition can show feeling unbalanced and thrown out of equillibrium, potentially due to pleasures (food, parties, alchohol, indulgence). The Moon will be enclosed between the benefics throughout all of Wednesday into Thursday which should provide us with some alleviation from harm, challenges, and burdens at least for a little while. Early in the morning though, the Moon will then seperate from Venus and make an opposition to Mars in Leo. This aspect brings fights, conflict, contention, irritation, and agitation throughout the rest of the day. It is important to think about the relationship of Venus and Mars to each other right now, because they are very close to each other in the sky right now, and the Moon making this opposition highlights their relationship to each other. Venus and Mars moving towards a conjunction show the building up of tensions, action, and expectations in regards to relationships and agreements, but once Mars enters Virgo, Venus slows down, and stations Retrograde changes in relationships, alliances, and friendships shall occur. Venus and Jupiter are planets who harmonize and unite people together, while Mars seperates and severes. Since this is Mars’ last week in Leo, this aspect of the Moon can trigger disputes in agreements, connections, and alliences as the Moon opposes both of these planets in the sky. Be mindful of those who transgress boundaries in relationships, are hard hearted, selfish, and dominating. The Moon will be in a challenging position for a little while, after encountering that opposition to Mars, she will make no aspects to any planets before she leaves this sign. The burn of the red planet blisters throughout the rest of this Aquarius Moon.
The Moon will then enter the watery, mutable, sign of the fishes: Pisces. The Moon makes our mood, dispositions, and attitude more changeable, fluctuating, and shifting as the mutability suggests inconsistency in action. Everytime the Moon enters Pisces, it will encounter a conjunction to Saturn in Pisces. This will be the next aspect the Moon makes when it enters Pisces, suggesting this is a period of besiegement of the Moon, from opposing Mars on Thursday to conjoining Saturn on Friday. When the Moon is besieged, or any planet for that matter, it is indicative of fear, lack of safety, anxiety, frustration, and thwarted action. It is as if what you’re coming from is challenging, and what you’re moving towards is also challenging. It isn’t a fun configuration. It is advised to not travel, for there will be danger, and the Moon is a classic indicator of travel. Later that night ET, the Moon will enter the 27th Lunar Mansion, which Al Buni advises us to refrain from war, meeting with enemies, disputes, or bloodshed. He also mentions It is also suitable for visiting baths, cutting the hair and nails, and taking beneficial medicine.
Friday, July 7th
[12:47 AM ET] The Moon conjoins Saturn Retrograde at 06º54’ Pisces
[6:27 AM ET] The Moon in Pisces sextile Jupiter at 10º21’ Taurus
[2:47 PM ET] The Moon in Pisces trine the Sun at 15º24’ Taurus
[5:41 PM ET] MANZIL 28: The Moon enters Al-Risha 17º08 Pisces
On Friday, the Moon will make an exact conjunction to Saturn in Pisces. This conjunction brings melancholy, sadness, grief, and burdens to the forefront of our mind. Restrictions, limitations, and blockages are acutely understood and found while the Moon is here. In a water sign, this also suggest dangers found traveling by sea. It can also allude to corruption of water, scarcity, and harm found in the ocean. Saturn will make us feel delays, slowed down, very serious, and grim throughout the beginning of the day. Things will start off very heavy and austere, but as the Moon moves further through Pisces, it will encounter a sextile to Jupiter and a trine to the Sun. Saturn can bring confusion, lack of understanding, and obscures what the Sun clarifies. So be mindful of wandering through confusion especially as the Moon conjoins Saturn Retrograde for the first time. Saturn can also make us feel tired, overworked, and inclines us towards rest. The Moon will then make a sextile to Jupiter in Taurus, in a nice mutual reception, which should offer some alleviation from the burdens and restrictions Saturn set in place. The Moon moves away from the planet who represents binds and restictions to the planet who liberates and removes those restrictions. This is a fortunate connection that also brings friendship, joy, freedom, and justice. Jupiter seeks to affirm what Saturn has denied us. After the Moon makes a sextile to Jupiter, it makes a trine to the Sun, which is affirming and supportive since the Luminaries are in supportive aspects with each other. The Moon in the 9th sign from the Sun shows revelations and the revealing of secrets, especially in a conjunction to Saturn. It is good for wisdom and esoteric knowledge, seeing the unseen, and hidden realms. The Moon in Pisces offers spiritual and esoteric wisdom, especially as she translates the light from Jupiter to the Sun. This trine can also be really supportive for gaining recognition, acknowledgement, and acheivement— all Solar things. There is very supportive aspects that takes place between Jupiter, Saturn, the Sun, and Moon all today.
The Moon will then enter the 28th Lunar Mansion, Al-Risha, which Al Buni tells us is said to be good for spiritual pursuits, such as making talismans, work with precious stones and gem-talismans, and performing spiritual healing. Al Buni emphasizes that enacting good deeds is favored, and all that is done in it shall go well. Additionally, travelling and moving from one place to another is advised, as well as marriage and mingling with judges and officials.
Saturday, July 8th
[5:55 AM ET] The Moon in Pisces trine Mercury at 24º27’ Cancer
[3:19 PM ET] INGRESS: The Moon enters Aries
[3:19 PM ET] MANZIL 1: The Moon enters Al-Sharatayn
On Saturday, after the Moon seperates from a trine to the Sun, which provides clarity, illumination, and insight after the fears and anxieties Saturn brought up, it will apply to trine Mercury in Cancer. Mercury has picked up a lot of speed after its conjunction to the Sun and is now getting ready to zoom out of Cancer. This trine between the Moon and Mercury is supportive for learning, divining, reflecting, and taking a moment to be nostalgic. Mercury is recieving an aspect of friendship from the Moon, but the Moon is in Mercury’s Depression, which can suggest not a lot of clarity or support found with trying to comprehend, translate, memorize, or communicating information. There is much more of a reflective component to the water signs especially with Pisces. It’s like getting a piece of information that doesn’t make a lot of sense, has errors, or is just straight up confusing…but supportive nonetheless. Take this moment to be reflective and introspective. This can be supportive for divination and specifically water-divination.
The Moon will then enter Aries, which adds more heat, fire, and dryness into our mannerisms, disposition, and feelings. The cardinality of the Moon gives us more action, direction, and fuel to initiate action. The Moon will also be ruled by a fiery Mars in Leo too, so this adds an extra kick of action, dryness, and swiftness into our day. The Moon will additionally enter the 1st Lunar Mansion, Al-Sharatayn, which is said to be an ill-omened mansion, since it provokes hatred, bloodshed, and anger. Al Buni advises us to take time to be in solitary and seclude yourself. Abstaining from sleep and keeping silent are recommended, for this mansion can bring ruptures and disturbences to people’s temperament. Only do works out of necessity, not want. The Moon will be running through a little void throughout most of the weekend, which can signfy that not much is going to be happening. Again, it is best to take this time to do nothing and be alone. The Moon will be pretty much void once it seperates from Mercury and doesn’t aspect another planet again until it connects with the Sun in Cancer tomorrow. When the Moon is not connecting with any planets, its symbolic of no action or activity happening, or whatever does happen fades, and does not endure.
Sunday, July 9th
[1:30 PM ET] MANZIL 2: The Moon enters Al-Batin
[9:47 PM ET] The Moon in Aries square the Sun at 17º35’ Cancer
On Sunday, the Moon will continue to move through Aries, but will shift from the 1st Mansion, to the second mansion, Al Butain. This is definitely seen as a more fortunate mansion, whereas the 1st Mansion can spark enmity and hatred, this mansion is much better for soothing those inflammations, keeping enemies at bay, and calming anger down. There is a spiritual component to this mansion too. Al Buni advises that it is good for making talismans, alchemy, beginning studies, making seals, sigils, treatments through exorcism (a Martian topic), spiritual healing, and medicine. The name of this Mansion, ٱلْبَاطِنُ, is said to represent the Hidden, as in what is unseen or hidden from human’s perception. It is said to be one of the 99 names of Allah, which also is another reason for the spiritual and esoteric connotations of this mansion. The Moon in Aries will make an aspect to the Sun in Cancer today as the only aspect. The Moon making a square to the Sun suggests conflict, challenge, and issues with rulers, authority figures, and executives. There is a sense of urgency and action with both the luminaries in Cardinal signs. The Moon is in the Sun’s exaltation, and the Sun is in the Moon’s Domicile meaning— they’re exchanging signs. There is some level of support, recognition, and mutual support that can be found through this square of the Sun and Moon. The Moon will be in her final quarter phase, where she is going to be loosing more than half of her light over the next week, leading up to the new moon. This can cause a drop in activity, action, and energy as the Moon sheds her light. Expect conflicts over protection, safety, and action on Sunday as the Moon in Aries highlights urgency of action, swiftness, and boldness. The Moon in Aries will embolden our heart to be more fiery, combatative, confrontational, and headstrong. Be mindful of making hasty decisions under this transit, but in other ways, this can be good for giving your decisions/actions an extra kick of momentum. After the Moon makes a square to the Sun, it will apply to trine Venus in Leo. This brings laughter, friendship, artistic, and creative vibes to the forefront on Sunday night. Venus brings entertainment, rest, leisure, and enjoyment as this aspect will form all of Sunday night into Monday morning. Moving into next week, Mars will enter Virgo, and the refranation between Venus and Mars will begin. The expectations of building relationships and collaberations will start to slow down due to a change of heart. More on this next week…
