Weekly Graphic
Monday, April 24th
[4:48 AM ET] The Moon in Gemini sextile Jupiter at 24º45’ Aries
[2:58 PM ET] INGRESS: The Moon enters Cancer
On Monday, the Moon will continue to move through the last third of Gemini, traversing through a benefic enclosure. When the Moon is enclosed by benefics, it is indicative as a period of good fortune, protection, safety, and enjoyment. The Moon was separating from a conjunction with Venus in Gemini over the weekend, and will be applying towards a sextile, an aspect of friendship, with Jupiter in Aries. This gives Monday more relaxation, rest, and opportunity for friendship, inclusion, and support. The Moon will be void for most of the day since it won’t connect with any other planets in the sign, but then it will enter Cancer. The Moon will stay in the Cardinal sign which makes events move much quicker, bring more action, and energy into the day. The Moon will retain its moisture and wet quality going from an Air Sign to a Water sign, however the element of water suggest more self preservation and retaining one’s energy. The Moon will not connect with any other planets within the day, but it will be applying towards a sextile to the Sun in Taurus. This is an auspicious aspect which provides more comfort, relaxation, and harmony that is building after the chaos of the fluctuating, inconsistent, Gemini Moon. Since the Moon will be void today, expect that not much will be accomplished.
Tuesday, April 25th
[12:10 AM ET] The Moon in Cancer sextile the Sun at 04º42’ Taurus
[12:39 AM ET] The Moon in Cancer trine Saturn at 04º57’ Pisces
(6:47 AM ET) Sun in Taurus sextile Saturn at 04º58’ Pisces
[7:46 PM ET] The Moon in Cancer sextile Mercury Retrograde at 14º38’ Taurus
[11:08 PM ET] The Moon conjoins Mars at 16º20’ Cancer

On Tuesday, the Moon will bring lots of action as its moves through Cancer. A sextile to the Sun goes exact early in the morning on Tuesday, which brings slowness, the desire to relax and rest, feeling lethargic, and desiring pleasure. The aspect between the Sun and Moon shows the first time these planets can witness each other since the Eclipse, and now that they’re in witnessing signs, this lunar month starts to open up as the Moon gains more light. The Moon will then make a trine to Saturn in Pisces, who conceals the Moon’s actions, gives one knowledge over hidden or secret things, it can make someone feel sluggish, slow, and worn out. Saturn tends to have the effect of making one tired and slowing down action, and we can especially feel this in our bodies since the Moon is at home in Cancer. The Moon making aspect to both the Sun and Saturn highlights the exact connection between them today.
The Sun and Saturn make a sextile to each other, which is the first aspect they have made since their conjunction at 27º Aquarius on February 16th. This opens Saturn’s synodic cycle and Saturn is currently the fastest it can move through the zodiac during Taurus season. Once the Sun enters Gemini in late May through June, and squares Saturn, it will cause Saturn to slow down more and lose strength. Saturn makes us aware of what current limitations, restrictions, and blockages stand in our path. Both Luminaries making aspects to Saturn shows this contrast of light and things being visible versus darkness and things being obscured. Saturn’s influence is really interesting here because it reveals secrets but also shows fraud and actions done in secret, but the Moon strong in Cancer has the power to reveal all that is hidden. There is an emphasis on home, nuturence, and protection. However, the Moon connecting with malefics brings a tinge of anxiety. The Moon will connect with Mercury through a sextile, which is supportive and shows agreements, but the Moon making this sextile shows the awareness of confusion, disruption, trickery, and deciet. Sextiles always have the power to make us aware of how things open and begin and how they wrap up and close, since they are the first and last aspects mades after a conjunction. The Moon is at her home, and there is some trickery that is done to antagonize a sense of safety and trust. The Moon will be moving closer and closer to a bodily conjunction with Mars all day, and conjunctions are stronger than any aspect because it is literally the meeting of two planets, whereas aspect is just sight.
The Moon conjoining Mars is the vibe that is felt all day. Conjunctions of the Moon to the malefics are rough periods to watch out for in the month, but the Moon is always translating and revealing the strife they cause. Mars is a planet that talks about violence, strife, conflict, and enmity between people. Mars is particularly fallen, so it can exacerbate tensions, make confrontation more challenging, and struggles to manage anger. Be weary of physical injury, fighting, bloodshed, hot things, fires, and extremes of friction, heat, and dryness. Mars in Cancer can represent (from experience) boiling water since it is the malevolent effects of water when pushed to the Martian extreme, heat. This can also shows issues around water in particular, either contomaination, harmful liquids, especially since Saturn in Pisces is making this the theme for the next 3 years, bringing scarcity in water, drying up of wells, and pollutants in water. Cancer was traditionally linked to any water that falls from the sky, while Scorpio is rivers and running water, while Pisces is still water. The Moon with Mars also talks about fraud, lying, and slander. Expect sudden disruptions and loud noises with this conjunction. It may feel hard to not be irritated (Mars) when you’re in your comfort zone (Cancer). It is also Mars’ day so the effects of Mars are really loud on this day.
Wednesday, April 26th
[5:09 PM ET] The Moon in Cancer square Jupiter at 25º21’ Aries

After the Moon makes a conjunction to Mars, on Wednesday it will move towards a square to Jupiter throughout the entire day. The Moon is connecting with a benefic which shows an alleviation of stress, support, and aid that is found, however they are connecting through a hard aspect, which shows strife, conflict, and enmity. When Jupiter is in a square with the Moon it indicates conflict with judges, conflict with the law, hasty action, challenges with truth, challenges in oaths and commitments, and it creates tension in the trust of our faith and honesty. As the Moon conjoins Mars and applies to Jupiter, it is highlighting a square that is forming between Mars and Jupiter over the next few weeks. It will perfect in Taurus/Leo, not in Aries/Cancer but the aspect is still building. Since they will change signs when the aspects will perfect, we would interpret this as a sign that the circumstances will change around the nature of this connections. Abu Ma’shar says this aspect indicates “plenty of propagandists, strife, overwhelming, and thieves, and that they do this in mystery and secret” from his Kitāb al‐milal wa‐ʾl‐duwal (كتاب الملل والدول). It is generally a tense aspect since a malefic is in an opposition or square. This is the larger cycle the Moon is highlighting, but today things will still feel tense, struggle for freedom and justice, but there will be some good obtained in the day since Juptier is a benefic and the Moon is strong in domicile.
After this connection, the Moon will go void since she will not connect with any planets before she leaves this sign. The inflammation that Mars brought will gradually start to fade and calm down. Taking time to relax after feeling dishevealed can help. Center yourself in your body and focus on your breathing.
Thursday, April 27th
[2:29 AM ET] INGRESS: The Moon enters Leo
[5:19 PM ET] The Moon in Leo square the Sun at 07º21’ Taurus
On Thursday, the Moon will ingress into Leo which brings a little more ease than the Cancer Moon over the past few days. Inflammatory experiences were the theme, but the Moon in Leo will be a little softer. The Moon will be averse to both of the malefic planets, and it will be in harmony with both of the benefics. Today, the Moon will be moving towards a square to the Sun in Taurus. Now this square is an interesting one because typically the Sun and Moon in a hard aspect indicates conflict, strife, challenging authority, and disruptions but the Sun and Moon are mutually received. The Moon is in the Sun’s domicile, Leo, and the Sun is in the Moon’s exaltation, Taurus. This opening square that happens every Taurus Season features the Leo Moon and it signifies the increase in heat and dryness that this lunation cycle initiates. There is an emphasis on challenges with ruler, leaders, and those who are public. However, there can be a lot of attention and acknowledgement that can come from creative, artistic, and luxurious works. The Moon will continue to wax and grow in confidence, power, and roar louder. Attention, entertainment, public spaces, and rulers are all of focus today.
Friday, April 28th
[5:44 AM ET] The Moon in Leo square Mercury Retrograde at 13º29’ Taurus
[7:41 PM ET] The Moon in Leo sextile Venus at 20º24’ Gemini

On Friday, the Moon in Leo will be seperating from a square to the Sun and apply towards a square with Mercury. The Moon making a square to Mercury can show much debate, conversation, and chatter. Mercury is currently Retrograde which shows delays in information, misunderstandings, and miscommunications. The Moon is in a Fixed Sign, and so is Mercury, so we may feel especially stubborn in the way we communicate, but as the Moon seperates from Mercury and applies to Venus, it offers some flexibility that the fixed signs can lack. There may be more frustrations with technology, with letters, messages, travelling, and all things ruled by Mercury since the Moon is making a hard aspect, putting tension and strain on how Mercury’s influence is translated. Starting of the morning is rough and all over the place, however things will smoothen out once the Moon makes a sextile to Venus. Venus provides friendship, love, laughter, relaxation, and the desire to talk, connect, and be social. It is an aspect of love and harmony. Venus allows whatever discrepencies Mercury brought to be unified and harmonized through the communicative influence of Venus. While Mercury may make things focusing being Retrograde as the nature ruler of speech and communication, Venus’ influence in Gemini provides each of speech, persuasiveness, and smooth talking. The Moon will be enclosed between the aspects of the benefics as it seperates from Venus which signifies protection, safety, laughter, entertainment, amusement, indulgence in drink and consuming food, and physical pleasures.
Saturday, April 29th
[6:52 AM ET] The Moon in Leo trine Jupiter at 25º57’ Aries
[2:59 PM ET] INGRESS: The Moon enters Virgo

On Saturday, the Moon will make a trine to Jupiter early in the morning. This shows the excitement for faith, religion, and spirituality. An overcoming trine from Jupiter is a very supportive aspect, and it also gives trust, honesty, friendship, and alliances. Jupiter removes any restrictions and limitations we may feel. It also gives favor with judges, lawyers, and those who work with religious or spiritual matters. Jupiter affirms our dreams, our desire for recognition, attention, and praise. This benefic enclosure is really nice and it brings an enjoyable weekend.
The Moon will then enter Virgo where it will remain for the next few days. The Moon will not aspect any other planets for the rest of the day, but it will be applying towards an opposition to Saturn in Pisces. While Jupiter may highlight limitations being removed and affirming our dreams, Saturn will show blockages, delays, and restrict us moving forward.
Sunday, April 30th
[1:41 AM ET] The Moon in Virgo opposes Saturn at 05º20’ Pisces
[10:59 AM ET] The Moon in Virgo trine the Sun at 10º00’ Taurus
[3:05 PM ET] The Moon in Virgo trine Mercury Retrograde at 12º05’ Taurus

On Sunday, the Moon makes an exact opposition to Saturn in the middle of the night, and this can be stressful because Saturn’s nature is to create delays, restrictions, barriers, bonds, and create inactivty. Saturn may put more strain on our body, make us feel more tired, and sluggish. Fatigue is the theme of the night into the morning ET. However, the Moon will make a trine to the Sun in Taurus which is really supportive for finding support from rulers, authority figures, and those who deal with public affairs. If you’re seeking to gain recognition and affirmation, this is a positive omen for such things. The Sun provides wisdom, illumination, and knowledge of hidden things that Saturn brings up. The Moon in Virgo highlights facts, data, technology, information, knowledge, and Mercury Retrograde is the ruler. The Moon will connect with Mercury by the after-noon, and I suspsect Mercury is having us do a WHOLE lot of work to revise things, re-examine details, facts, and information. This trine to Mercury is a lot more favorable because the Moon is connecting with its domicile lord, and Mercury is in the exaltation of the Moon. This can help mitigate some of the slow influence Mercury is bringing, and the Moon provides more clarity over facts, our ability to critically think, and use discernment. Mercury brings understanding and knowledge through unconventional matters today.
