Weekly Graphic
Sorry for the delay in this forecast everyone! Usually I am not super late on these, but I was at an Astrology event in Miami this weekend that I had the pleasure to read at! I was invited by one of my clients who hired me to read for attenders of the event, and it was such an incredible night. Traveling to Miami was incredible, meeting one of my clients IN PERSON, doing what I love and sharing with it other people has been so heart-touching. There’s so much about this moment for me this is incredible and celebratory, so… I was a little BUSY… but next forecast will be out by Monday per as usual. <3 <3 <3
Monday, April 3rd
[12:22 PM ET] INGRESS: Mercury enters Taurus
On Monday afternoon, Mercury will shift from the sign Aries to Taurus which is a particularly important transit, setting the mood for the next 2 months to come. Mercury will leave Taurus on June 11th, 2023 so this is our endpoint for this transit. Mercury will have an extended stay in this sign due to its Retrograde from April 20th to May 15th. During this time, Mercury will be moving backwards in the sky, is delayed, and represents another period of making revisions, changes, and revising strategy for those 3 weeks. The theme of Mercury this year is that its Retrograde periods in 2023 will all be in Earth Signs. There was a Mercury Retrograde in Capricorn that occurred in the beginning of the year from Dec 2022-Jan 2023. When Mercury Retrograde, there is a notion of needing to review something, revise, revisit, look at things from the past, reflecting on the past, tracing steps backwards, delays, reversals, interruptions, and mischief that pops up. Take a look at the house Taurus rules in your chart, Mercury will bring this influence to this part of your life. Taurus as a sign will become increasingly more important because the North Node has been transiting here since 2022, we’ve had Eclipses here since 2021, and Venus has been here this past month, Mercury will ingress today, and Jupiter will also get ready for a much larger ingress into this sign in May 2023, where it will remain until May 2024 when it enters Gemini. So Mercury shows there’s a LOT that needs to be revised after the Eclipses have brought major endings, beginnings, and changes here.
This isn’t the first time Mercury has Retrograded through Taurus through. Back in May-June 2022, Mercury Retrograde from Gemini back into Taurus for a brief period, signifying much further and extensive revisions that would come to this house in the future. Mercury moving through the sign of Taurus is concerned with material things, since Earth is material. This means things like laborers, workers, and artisans. Those who make beautiful things especially since Mercury is in Taurus. Taurus is heavily associated with cows, cattle, wealth, farmers, women, entertainers, and diplomats and they in particular will be of focus in the world. Mercury is a planet of commerce, exchange, and money, in Taurus, the vibe feels very much like re-evaluating the worth of something. Taurus has everything to do with what we value, but specifically luxury, wealth, and elegance due to the Venusian influence of this sign. Mercury will be moving towards a conjunction to the North Node all week which can ask more and more of our mental energy and attention. This feels contradicting because Taurus’s influence is to take things slow, but the North Node amplifies the mental activity Mercury brings, quickens it further, and demands more energy from Mercury. We may feel mentally worn out and pushing ourselves further and further over the next week. Take it easy and try to not stress yourself out. Mercury is work and tasks that need to be done and with the North Node it makes you BUSY. This sets the vibe for the week but also the next two months. If Mercury is speed, The North Node tells us to TURN IT UP. If Mercury is debate and conversation, the North Node says SPEAK MORE!
As Mercury ingresses the Moon will not connect with any planets today, but it will be applying towards a trine to Venus throughout the entire time. Things will move slowly, there may feel like there is no direction to the flow of events, and according to some the Moon will be void since no planet will aspect it for a full 24 hours (moving 13º in the zodiac). Take time to just rest and relax as we feel this shift of Mercury.
Tuesday, April 4th
[2:04 AM ET] The Moon in Virgo trine Venus at 21º51’ Taurus
[5:51 PM ET] INGRESS: The Moon enters Libra
On Tuesday, the Moon in Virgo will make a trine to Venus in Taurus which is a really positive and supportive connection that was slowly building all of Monday, in typical Taurus fashion. Venus strong in Taurus brings relaxation, rest, leisure, nourishment, pleasure, games, fun, entertainment, love, and relationships into our lives. This trine goes exact early on Tuesday morning, and the influence of Venus really slows us down and makes us want to take a nap. Lethargic is the word of the day. The Moon will enter into Libra in the sign where she will be full. This provides a little more boost of energy as she will be very full in the sky over the next two nights. However, the Moon will be applying towards a square to Mars in Cancer over the next few hours into the night.
Wednesday, April 5th
[4:11 AM ET] The Moon in Libra square Mars at 05º23’ Cancer
[12:20 PM ET] Mercury in Taurus sextile Saturn at 3º12’ Pisces
On Wednesday, the Moon will continue to move through Libra and makes an exact square to Mars early in the morning ET. Mars will be in the overcoming square, dominating over the Moon, which brings more stress, urgency, action, and work. Mars can bring uncontrolled/unmoderated conflict, fights, stress, irritation, confrontation, and outbursts. The Moon in Libra shows matters of justice, fairness, and consequences being important. Mars shows those who have transgressed and violated agreements, the law, and justice. Mars has indicators for violating oaths, agreements, and enmity between people. Mars can make us feel emotionally overwhelmed, burnt out, and demands us to exert more energy. Luckily, the Moon is full and bright. However, conflict is in the air. Mercury makes an exact sextile to Saturn today too, which slows down communication, brings intense study, and rigor, devotedness, and reflection over the next few days. This can be a supportive connection since Saturn and Mercury are in a positive aspect, but without reception. Mercury will technically be in a challenging position throughout the week because it will be in between the aspects of Mars and Saturn, known as a besiegement. Mercury finds itself in a contentious state, where we may feel more nervous, anxious, and encounter challenges with Mercury related things, like money, writing, speaking, and communicating. This besiegement will be quick, since Mercury makes a sextile to Mars on Sunday, but there is definitely a feeling of mental frustration and agitation that comes from the malefic planets. Saturn brings delays and slowness, followed by aggression, agitation, and conflict. This is an aspect for planning stratagems and organizing strategy. Mercury in besiegement shows challenges and issues with documents, papers, technology, and information. Mercury in besiegement means the nervous system is caught between a rock and a hard place. Beware of incorrect information, wrong calculations, and needing to re-check your work.
Thursday, April 6th
[12:34 AM ET] FULL MOON: The Moon opposes the Sun at 16º07’ Libra
[8:42 AM ET] The Moon in Libra opposes Jupiter at 20º27’ Aries
Thursday is the big day for the week because it is the Full Moon in Libra! This will be the first Full Moon of the Astrological New Year, and it always takes places every Aries Season. The Full Moon is a time where the Moon is the fullest she can possibly and it represents a full culmination that arrives in our lives, depending on what house Libra rules in your birth chart. As we mentioned before, matters of relationships, law, fairness, and justice are especially important with the Full Moon here. The Moon brings contentions, conflicts, lawsuits, enmity, contention between rulers and people, and opposition during this phase because she will be in an opposition aspect with the Sun. This Full Moon is particularly stressful because of the overcoming square to Mars, which shows a dominating influence of conflict, aggression, fervor, and rage. This is a very fiery full Moon and the theme is justice and peace. The Moon is the ruler of this lunation, and Saturn is the Exaltation Lord. Neither planet can witness the lunation. This Full Moon in Libra over the past 3 years was always in a trine to Saturn, as its exaltation lord, who was able to manage and stabilize the affairs of what themes are highlighted in this chart. Now Saturn is in Pisces, unaspected to the lunation, and Venus is in Taurus, strong in their domicile Taurus, but also unable to witness the lunation. 2 out of 3 triplicity lords, Saturn and Mercury cannot witness this lunation too. The Moon is in the Bounds of Jupiter and Jupiter is the final Triplicity Lord of the Air Element, who is able to witness the lunation from an opposition.
Jupiter is an interesting planet highlighted for this lunation because it is also about to set beneath the Sun’s Beams, and become invisible in the sky. Typically when a planet is under the beams, it is said to be ending its cycle, wrapping something up, but since Jupiter is western and an evening star, Jupiter lacks enthusiasm and vitality. If Jupiter is a signifier of freedom, law, philosophy, and liberation, contention and challenges with this topics noticeably disappearing will come about. Jupiter setting under the beams can also be an indicator of the death of judges, the religious, and priests. Jupiter is a planet that represents faith, and when it is under the beams, there is a concealment and even corruption of faith that occurs. A planet setting under the beams is likened to a planet who experiences illness, grows weaker, and encounters restraints from the burning nature of the Sun. The Sun is said to be malefic when it comes close to planets, but benefic at a distance, because up close its nature is to burn. Jupiter shows challenges with oaths, commitments, faith, and honesty as the Sun comes to reset and start new things with Jupiter, first purging out the old. Take a look at the house Aries rules in your chart for more details on where this might come. There is a lot of optimism for new beginnings, new action, and leadership with Jupiter and the Sun as triplicity lords (the Sun, Jupiter, and Saturn all co ruler the Fire Element, the triplicity of 3 signs). This is an auspicious conjunction between these planets because they demand action, initiative, and change. The rise of youth, young leaders, young activists, and demand for bold change is the theme of this aspect. As triplicity lords, Jupiter receives honors and assistance from the Sun who is exalted in Aries, someone in their kingdom. Aries energy shows there is a lot of boldness and enthusiasm for action, but the ruler is Mars in Cancer, who is fallen here and struggles to manage the affairs and actions of whats going on in their sign (Aries). There is a heavy focus on legal affairs, justice, liberation, and freedom and the lack or disappearance of these things as Jupiter disappeared under the beams, but there is bold action that is taken to create new initiative and new leadership. The Moon will oppose this Jupiter today, which shows contention in freedom, trusts, honesty, and oaths taken.
Friday, April 7th
[2:29 AM ET] INGRESS: The Moon enters Scorpio
[8:44 AM ET] The Moon in Scorpio trine Saturn at 03º23’ Pisces
[9:52 AM ET] The Moon conjoins the South Node at 04º00’ Scorpio
[1:52 PM ET] The Moon in Scorpio opposes Mercury at 06º11’ Taurus
[2:42 PM ET] The Moon in Scorpio trine Mars at 06º37’ Cancer
On Friday, the Moon will enter Scorpio after the Full Moon in Libra where she travels through the sign of her Depression, Estrangement, or Fall. A planet who is fallen is likened to a planet who is a prisoner, is disliked, and exiled in the specific sign it is located in. Its qualities and essence are casted out in this environment. The Moon is a planet of nurturing, comfort, rest, intimacy, care, privacy, and protection and in Scorpio the Moon is lacking these things, finds invasion of privacy, stinging sensations that leave relationships bitter, and the concealment of secrets. The Moon will make as trine to Saturn as its first aspect, which makes things more serious, somber, grave, and melancholic as we go into this first part of the day. The Moon will also conjoin the South Node which signifies loss, pains, and fears. The Moon’s next aspect will be to its domicile lord, Mars in Cancer who is also Fallen. This is one of the very interesting connections for me today as this connection will become highlighted in exactly 1 month when the Moon returns for Scorpio for a final Eclipse on May 5th. This same configuration of a Mutual Fall between Mars and the Moon will occur, but with the added signification of an Eclipse. I think this connection between the Moon and Mars being in each other’s signs but also the signs of their fall shows that they are mutually in signs and environments they do not like to be in. They are also each other’s rulers, so there is something about this configuration that expresses mutual dissatisfaction or harm brought to two parties. However, these planets are in a trine for each other, so they equally have an opportunity to mend their frustrations, grudges, vengeance tendencies. The Moon in Scorpio besieged between Mars and Saturn can feel very uncomfortable emotionally, physically, and spiritually. There is a sense of being depleted of energy especially since the Moon is on the South Node. Mars is the planet who is a longer term influence for the Scorpio Moon though, and the overcoming trine to Mars signifies fighting, conflict, spilling of blood, and enmity. Scorpio is very much a sign associated with conflict, fighting, and vengeance and in a water sign, Mars is the liquid red stuff that runs through our veins. As all of this is going on between the two malefics, the Moon makes an opposition to Mercury who is also caught in this besiegement. Mercury in an opposition brings conflicts because of news, messengers, information, and trickery. Beware of lies, slander, and falsehoods in rumors. Typically when the Moon is with the malefics, ancients will take it as an indicator for dishonesty and tears in the fabric of society, like lies. However, they say when the Moon is with the benefics it indicates truthfulness, depending on the condition of all of these planets. Here, there seems to be lots of slander, cunning, lies, dishonesty, and false oaths that are highlighted. This weekend really sets the stage for what the Lunar Eclipse on May 5th will be like. Its honestly a rough time, but we’re almost out of this Eclipse cycle. The influence of the Scorpio Moon will make us feel fixed on pain, where we feel the sting of the Scorpion, and enmity from others. It is best to hold out and not engage in fights, drinking, and check for expired food.
Saturday, April 8th
(2:28 AM ET) Mercury in Taurus sextile Mars at 06º53’ Cancer
After the Moon leaves this besiegement action, she will continue to move through Scorpio, leaving the challenging, anxiety-ridden, feelings behind. The Moon’s next aspect will be towards an opposition with Venus in Taurus which does not go exact until tomorrow morning, however its influence will be building throughout the day. The day may feel aimless as the Moon will not connect with any planets in a 24 hour time period. It is the time to rest, relax, seek out leisure and pleasure. Do not exacerbate tensions and seek peace.
The exact aspect that comes forth on Saturday is Mercury’s exact sextile to Mars in Cancer. This completes the besiegement of Mercury and what follows will be liberation from challenges, fears, and anxieties. Mercury making a sextile to Mars does indicate stratagems, fights, and planning of conflict. If Mercury and Mars are said to be in a positive aspect it indicates people who work with metals, arts operated with fire, and alchemy. The skillfulness of Mercury is paired with the heat association of Mars with welders, blacksmiths, etc. Mars indicates works with hot things, but also escalation of tensions, verbal aggression and quickness to debate/argument. Mercury’s speech becomes quickened and louder with Mars in aspect. Moving forward, Mercury will generally be in a more favorable position in Taurus now that it is moving away from the malefics, however Mercury will be Retrograding in Taurus, so this besiegement and whatever attacks on news, technology, information, and knowledge happen will eventually be reviewed by Mercury throughout the next 2 months.
Sunday, April 9th
[5:09 AM ET] The Moon in Scorpio opposes Venus at 27º52’ Taurus
[8:56 AM ET] INGRESS: The Moon enters Sagittarius
[3:21 PM ET] The Moon in Sagittarius square Saturn at 03º36’ Pisces
On Sunday Morning ET, the Moon in Scorpio will make an opposition to Venus in Taurus which is a supportive aspect for the Moon. Venus is where the Moon is Exalted, in Taurus, which provides nurturing energy, love, support, balance, harmony, and ease to the Moon who’s nerves have been a wreck while traveling through Scorpio. Where we may have felt nervous, scared, anxious, and stinging from the Moon, Venus helps to soothe and balance our anxieties. If the Moon is the body who feels distraught and tense, Venus is a massage that relaxes and soothes the body. This is a very supportive aspect for the Moon to end it transit through Scorpio. Keep in mind, the opposition aspect will that there will be conflict with Venusian figures and themes. Challenges with balance, fairness, maybe not having a enough rest, feeling physically drained, the opposition shows the worn out nature of the Moon contrasting with the nurturing and generative nature of Venus.
The Moon will then enter Sagittarius, leaving its Fall in Scorpio. This is a supportive shift for the Moon since it is an alleviation of the stinging sensation of the Scorpion. The entrance into Sagittarius shows the pursuit of knowledge, philosophy, truth, wisdom, faith, and learning, however, the Moon makes a square to Saturn in Pisces in the afternoon ET. The Moon in Sagittarius making a square to Saturn shows restrictions in beliefs, seriousness, and pessimism that sombers the optimistic nature of Jupiter. There are restrictions in learning, knowledge, the pursuit of truth, and delays. Whenever the Moon encounters a hard aspect from Saturn it indicates rejection, delays, and blockages in our path. Challenges with freedom, liberation, and justice are indicated by Saturn bringing its influence to the Jupiterian sign. The Moon will eventually make a trine to both the Sun and its ruler, Jupiter. While there are restrictions encountered today, on Monday there will be liberation from constraints and bold action taken for new leadership, new actions, and new initiatives. This Scorpio Moon shows us the ugly underbelly of where we don’t feel supportive, what anger we have simmering inside, and how we are hurting, while the Sagittarius Moon gives us ambition and action to transform this frustration into directed, focused, action. Working through a sea of crazy emotions is the tempest of the Scorpio Moon this week. There is light at the end of the week with the blazing fire Moon.
