Weekly Graphic
Sorry for the delay in this forecast everyone! When you look at the transits for Monday and Tuesday you’ll understand why this forecast is LATE. Malefics are in my angles, I’m exhausted, scattered, and have so much work to do lol. The energy is going to continue to be chaotic this week, but the weekend gives us a nice little break with a benefic enclosure. There are a lot of major shifts coming in the astro weather this week, such as Venus entering Taurus, Mercury enters Aries, and the Sun and Mercury and Mars have their square off. Honestly, its all types of crazy and nothing makes sense, but clarity will come soon. Aries Ingress is incoming next week!
Monday March 13th
[3:20 AM ET] INGRESS: The Moon enters Sagittarius
[4:33 AM ET] The Moon in Sagittarius square Saturn at 00º40’ Pisces
On Monday morning the Moon will enter Sagittarius, exiting the sign of its fall, which offers an alleviation of stress in one manner, however this Sagittarius Moon opens up a new cycle of issues with faith, trust, freedom, and expansion as the Moon makes a square to Saturn in Pisces. Both planets are ruled by Jupiter, speeding through Aries right now, but Saturn brings much more of a depressing, deflating, and serious tone. Quite unusual for the Sagittarius Moon, but this will be the norm for the next 3 years. Whereas the motivations of Jupiter are to expand, grow, and generosity, Saturn highlights corruption, struggles of faith, and a pull between growth and restriction. Conflict and struggles with faith are the main theme of this square, and these struggles are more long term issues since Saturn represents chronic or enduring issues. This Sagittarius Moon is more fiery and explosive because not only is the Moon regarding Saturn through a hard aspect, but it will also oppose Mars. The Moon in a Mutable sign shows fluctuations and changes in action for the day. Saturn introduces a certain level of seriousness to come for the next 3 years.
Tuesday March 14th
[5:56 AM ET] The Moon in Sagittarius trine Jupiter at 14º56’ Aries
[5:38 PM ET] The Moon in Sagittarius square Mercury at 21º37’ Pisces
[10:08 PM ET] The Moon in Sagittarius square the Sun at 24º13’ Pisces
[11:45 PM ET] The Moon in Sagittarius opposes Mars at 25º09’ Gemini
On Tuesday, the Moon will continue to move through Sagittarius, after being forewarned and blocked by Saturn’s barriers on Monday. In the Jovial sign, there is a certain streak of optimism, hopefulness, we are concerned with matters of faith, religion, spirituality, law, friendship, leaders, learning, school, and education. The Moon is ruled by Jupiter and it makes a trine to Jupiter in Aries throughout the entire night into the morning. Jupiter gives parties, friendship, safety, laughter, charity, quickness in motion, and demands action NOW. This is a good aspect of reception, where Jupiter can manage the challenges and issues going on in its sign currently. The Moon and Jupiter are in an aspect of support and friendship, and as a benefic planet it provides alleviation from sorrows, removal of restrictions, freedom and liberation. This energy will build throughout the middle of the night and remain by noon. The Moon will then make an application over to Mercury in Pisces, who is severely challenged right now. Our mind may feel stressed, confused because of incorrect information, and things may not make sense at ALL. Mercury is Depressed, Exiled, Combust, and squaring a malefic right now. Talk about being stressed out! The Moon is highlighting the square to Mars the Sun and Mercury are making right now. Mercury and Mars in a hard aspect usually is stressful for our words and how we speak to each other. Mercury in Pisces does not have the information correct, and can experience conflict, vitriol, and violence as a result. The square puts Mars and Mercury in conflict with each other. The Moon adds more fuel to the fire. The Sun and Moon in a square with each other is also rough since they are the luminaries. Whenever they are in contention it shows important conflict, struggles with will, and opposition. This brings a very dramatic closure to this Lunar month as the Moon will return to her crescent phase for the next week. The Moon will oppose Mars in Gemini by the very end of the day, and it can make this entire experience feel frustration, confrontational, combative, violent, aggressive, and irritating. Mars in an opposition always portends for conflicts and competition. Specifically, debate, arguments, and things getting blown out of proportion since this is the Gemini/Sagittarius axis we’re talking about. Today is definitely a wild day.
Wednesday March 15th
[4:50 AM ET] The Moon in Sagittarius trine Venus at 28º06’ Aries
[8:05 AM ET] INGRESS: The Moon enters Capricorn
[9:41 AM ET] The Moon in Capricorn sextile Saturn at 00º55’ Pisces
On Wednesday, after the Moon opposes Mars, the Moon makes a trine to Venus who is on her way to exit Aries this week. Before this happens, she makes a trine to the Moon which gives excitement, enthusiasm, pleasure, leisure, friendship, love, and romance. This aspect will go exact in the morning, and then the Moon will change signs into Capricorn. These next few days will be interesting because the Moon will be ruled by Saturn in Pisces instead of Saturn in Aquarius, so the conditions and themes around these parts of our chart start to shift. The Moon makes a sextile to Saturn which is a good aspect of reception between these planets. The Moon is in Saturn’s sign and Saturn is able to aspect its home sign now. The Moon is able to push some of this grounding, serious, and sober nature of Capricorn over to Saturn who is lacking it currently in Pisces. This supportive connection can facilitate a productive and grounded approach to how we feel during this transit. The Moon in Capricorn emphasizes responsibilities, limitations, and restrictions. I’m excited to see how this transit feels because the Moon in Saturn’s sign can finally see its ruler. Saturn provides some patience, wisdom, and firmness.
Thursday March 16th
[10:16 AM ET] The Moon in Capricorn square Jupiter at 15º27’ Aries
(2:09 PM ET) Sun in Pisces square Mars at 25º53’ Gemini
[6:34 PM ET] INGRESS: Venus enters Taurus
On Thursday, the Moon will continue to move through Capricorn and it will encounter a square to Jupiter in Aries. The square to Jupiter shows issues with the truth, with growth, expansion, and honesty since the square shows conflict. Jupiter is a benefic so it shows there is an opportunity for liberation, uplifting energy, support, and optimism. There is more of an active component to this square though since Mars is a common denominator for both the Moon (in Mars’ Exaltation) and Jupiter in Mars’ sign. It demands, action, initiation, and more forward momentum.
Mars being the common planet shaping the influences of the day is interesting because the Sun and Mars have their square off together today. This aspect has been building since the beginning of Pisces Season, especially this week, and culminates by today. When planets are squared each other, the planets are said to be in conflict, enmity, and competition with each other. The nature of the square is connected to Mars in the Thema Mundi, since the domiciles of the Luminaries are square to the two signs Mars rules (Aries and Scorpio). The Sun is in the overcoming square from Mars in Gemini, which shows the closure and ending of this longer Mars synodic cycle that opened up when these planets conjoined in October 2021 (in Libra). The Sun is a planet who provides order, structure, firmness, and in the square to Mars, it brings conflict, arguments, debates, and incorrect information as the key theme here. The Sun, motivated by Jupiter, brings up a theme of action being matched with faith, since Pisces is a deeply spiritual sign, but our faith, trust, and oaths are at risk of being broken. Mars’ job is to sever, to agitate, to fight, and is bold in doing so. Take a look at the houses Gemini and Pisces rule in your chart, because especially in the transits for the next few years, they will increasingly becoming important. The Sun’s actions triumph over Mars since the Sun is in the 10th sign from Mars, which can help to stabilize and order the chaos that has been taking place in the Gemini house. Expect sudden disruptions, conflict in willpower, and potentially having to fight or be confrontational to remove obstacles out of your path. This square will still be felt throughout Aries Season and even Taurus Season, but the exact climax of this tension comes today. The Sun and Mars will continue to be in a whole sign square with each other for the next few months. So this time period is also defined by these characteristics.
In a contrast to the confrontational, bold, and aggressive tone of the Sun and Mars who are squaring off, Venus makes an important shift today as she leaves Aries, where she is exiled in, and enters Taurus, her domicile. The shift in dignity for Venus is pretty important because she is the harmonizer, unifier, is in charge of fairness, beauty, and justice (all these 3 things are connected, without justice there cannot be beauty or fairness). She brings laughter, but also comfort, leisure, she is in charge of our pleasures, our likes, dislikes, what we are attracted to, and have love for. She encourages the union of souls together, the slowing down of life, smelling the roses, and physical pleasure. Venus entering into Taurus helps with creating physical and material beauty, like food, wine, art pieces, dancing, theatre, singing, instrument playing and more. Venus is a material girl in Taurus. Wanting the BEST quality of food, the FINEST wine, the most EXTRAVAGANT art. In Taurus, there is a slowness and sensuality to this feeling which is different than the past 3 years. For the past 3 years, Venus has been squaring Saturn in Aquarius, encountering restrictions, limits, and the lowering of quality of enjoyment. If Venus is good, luxuries, and what has value, Saturn has been decreasing and diminishing the value of things we appreciate over the past 3 years. This ingress of Venus into Taurus feels different because Saturn is now in Pisces, and it will make a sextile to Venus instead of a square. Squares indicate hostility between planets, but the sextile is the seeking out of friendship. Venus indicates justice, fairness, and diplomacy and in Taurus, it shows a strong, fixed, moral beliefs. We may be called to firmly establish what we define as peaceful is. Can there be peace when there is the absence of justice? Venus offers us rest, rejuvenation, and satisfies all our cravings. Venus is especially strengthened in Taurus, because she has dignity by being in her Domicile (+5), in the Earth element her Triplicity (+3), and in her Bound (+2) in the first 8º of Taurus. This is a Venus who is in her home, comfortable, and relaxed; in her triplicity, has the support of her friends, allies, and supporters; and is amongst her family, kin, and those familiar to them in her bound. Venus will also approach the North Node which signifies the expansion of all of this further. The North Node expands the good of the benefics, while it expands the harm of the malefics. Venus is in an Earth Sign though, it is much more physically than socially elevating. Taurus has a reputation for having a close, intimate, circle of friends that they trust, and Venus brings elevation and support among those who are close. There is more friendliness and opening to meeting people in general, but focus on the quality of a person’s character. Venus in Taurus (and the Moon) are both concerned about this in this sign. Quality over quantity is the Venus in Taurus motto. Most of the fruits Venus has to bear will be felt on the initial ingress, but as the transit continues, this sign will become increasingly more important to take a look at. Venus in Taurus conjoined to the North Node does seem like a very LOUD transit, since the North north amplifies many things, and Taurus does have associations with luxury, labor, agriculture, farming, food, housing, and the thing that nourish us. In a time where so many people are experiencing economic disparity, this transit calls into question what is considered a luxury. Shit is EXPENSIVE. And it is because billionaires and other rich people are hoarding wealth, while bailing out other billionaires at failing banks. Issues of money, what is of value, and worth all become important with Venus visiting here, and become reviewed, revised, and changed around when Mercury enters in April and does a full Retrograde through this sign. This ingress today changes lots going forward into the Spring.
Friday March 17th
[12:48 AM ET] Mercury in Pisces square Mars at 26º05’ Gemini
[4:27 AM ET] The Moon in Capricorn sextile Mercury at 26º23’ Pisces
[4:27 AM ET] The Moon in Capricorn sextile the Sun at 26º29’ Pisces
[6:44 AM ET] CAZIMI: Mercury conjoins the Sun at 26º34’ Pisces
[10:24 AM ET] INGRESS: The Moon enters Aquarius
[11:50 AM ET] The Moon in Aquarius square Venus at 00º52’ Taurus
[6:25 PM ET] Venus in Taurus sextile Saturn at 1º11’ Pisces
If there is any day of the week that the astrology is just…. bringing it, it is definitely Friday. The Sun and Mars squaring was just the first part of this larger cycle playing out.
The first aspect we have is Mercury making a square to Mars in Gemini. This is an interesting case of reception because it emphasizes the failures and disappointments with Mercury here. Mercury and Mars are in conflict and contention with each other. Mercury is the planet of speech, communication, writing, and scribes and in a square to Mars, it brings brings more verbal vitriol, arguments, debates, misunderstandings, and incorrect translation of information. Mercury is the translator, who makes sense and meaning out of the world around us, and in its current condition, exiled and fallen in Pisces, Mercury does not have as much strength to get detailed, precise, things may be increasingly confusing and the logic may remain a mystery. This is definitely a time you want to catch errors in math, writing, and comprehension. Mercury makes these things more difficult and brings more frustration in its current condition. However the presence of a square to a malefic further harms Mercury since the malefics harm in hard aspects. As a result of not having the right information, communication and translation failures, it instigates fights, sudden disruptions, outbursts, and violence. Mercury is a significator of technology and electricity so in a square to Mars this can cause things to short circuit, break down, power outages, catch on fire, and even explode. Be careful of putting water around liquids. Mercury is located in a Water sign right now so this can bring unwanted power outages. Also financial issues are signified by this since Mercury is the original planet signifying commerce and trade. In a square to Mars, it causes the depletion of assets and resources. I could also expect this to bring issues in matters of scholarship, schools, and education, particular bans and attacks on authors/books due to legislative orders. This aspect has been building all week and will continue to be felt while Mercury transits through Pisces. Luckily, Mercury enters Aries and leaves this condition.
As this aspect goes exact between Mercury and Mars, Mercury also conjoins the Sun too. This makes this square to Mars really interesting because it has an imprint of the beginning of a new cycle of revisions and changes since whenever planets conjoin the Sun they start a new cycle. That is the case for Mercury today, and it does this while in its Exile and Fall. Whenever Mercury conjoins the Sun it is like the messenger is meeting with the king, or any authoritative figure, and it the messenger brings harm along with it since Mars is in a square. Harm that is brought to a ruler, a king, and authoritative position looks eminent. Mercury is the ruler of Mars and has management over its influence, and brings that messy, violent, and harmful situation over to the Sun to do something about it. This Cazimi is a LOT. This represents the inception and beginning of a new cycle for Mercury in the house Pisces rules in your chart, and expect it to be classic Mercurial chaos.
As this stuff is happening between Mercury, Mars, and the Sun, the Moon is able to witness whats going on with the Sun and Mercury because it makes a sextile to these planets today. Generally, things are a little bit calmer because the Moon and Sun are in a sextile position today. It does signify harmony and support today. I would expect that the Moon highlights a lot of this chaotic activity as it enters Pisces next week. The Moon really does make an exact sextile to both planets as it Cazimi’s though. This makes way for new seeds to be planted as the Moon will now go back to being a crescent visible as a Morning Star, loosing light.
The Moon will then enter Aquarius, which is an interesting transit considering Saturn has left this sign. I’m expecting this Aquarius Moon transit to be very much reflective and contemplative of what the last 3 years was like of the Moon transiting through this sign and feeling the pressure, sadness, somberness, serious, and stern influence of Saturn. The pressure eases off a little bit especially as the Moon makes an immediate square to Venus in Taurus. The Moon enters into a Fixed Sign which slows down the pace of things into the weekend, but this connection to Venus allows for more friendship, pleasure, and enjoyment. After feeling the restrictions of Saturn removed, for the most part, Venus helps to loosen us up. I often think of Saturn making people stiff and tightened in our body, and Venus can help to relax our muscles and bodies. The Moon transiting through an Air sign draws attention to matters of connection, society, and the organization of information. Venus’ ingress gets especially highlighted with this aspect as its the first lunar aspect to Venus, in the 10th sign from Venus. Matters of elevation, career, public affairs, law, and law may be important. Venus gives us an opportunity to find success, elevation, and public favor during this transit. It is great for artistic and creative pursuits/releases.
Its interesting because the Moon is in Saturn’s sign and averse to its ruler now, but the planet its connecting with, Venus is making a sextile to Saturn today. Venus is able to see two planets who cannot see each other, and acts as a mediator. Venus is great at bringing balance and is elevated in doing so in Taurus. Venus and Saturn work together in the sextile, and in a way Venus is the exaltation lord of Saturn currently since Saturn is placed in Pisces. This aspect is especially good for creating artistic or creative projects that you want to have longevity, enduring influence, and promote sensuality. I’m a little mixed on how to interpret this completely though because Venus is in a good condition but Saturn is a malefic, so I’m interested in seeing how this shift plays out. There are a lot of major decisions made from this aspect though. Cazimis, ingresses, sextiles—whew. This Friday is a LOT.
Saturday March 18th
[12:26 PM ET] The Moon in Aquarius sextile Jupiter at 15º56’ Aries
On Saturday, the only aspect that takes place after the Moon separates from a square to Venus is a sextile to Jupiter in Aries. I would actually consider these 24 hours a benefic enclosure since the Moon is moving from one benefic to another. This aspect is great for friendship, generosity, trust, taking oaths, seeking out the support and good from other people. Jupiter provides warmth, agreeability, and openness today. I’m actually quite excited for this weekend because it looks like it will be filled with friendship, good company, intimacy, laughter, and safety. The benefics provide us with comfort throughout the weekend. In many ways the craziness of the week starts to subside. By craziness I mean the mutability of the Sun, Mars, and Mercury all beefing in the double bodied signs right now. When there is mutable planets, it suggest a period of instability, fluctuation, and inconsistency in action. As the Sun and Mercury both separate from each other and from Mars.
Sunday March 19th
[12:24 AM ET] INGRESS: Mercury enters Aries
[6:33 AM ET] The Moon in Aquarius trine Mars at 27º07’ Gemini
[11:11 AM ET] INGRESS: The Moon enters Pisces
[1:27 PM ET] The Moon conjoins Saturn at 01º23’ Pisces
[4:54 PM ET] The Moon in Pisces sextile Venus at 03º31’ Taurus
On Sunday, Mercury, bright and early, enters Aries, leaving the sign of its exile. Whereas Mercury is said to be more mute, quite, and even confused in Pisces, Mercury is alleviated from some harsh conditions as it leaves Pisces. Aries is a better place for Mercury to be in because the element of Fire harmonizes with Mercury’s dry nature. Mercury quickens the speech, messages, and communication as it enters Aries, who is ruled by Mars. This configuration is quite interesting because Mercury and Mars are in each other’s domiciles, in a mutual reception. Now they will not make a sextile in this sign, but it shows the growing of trickery, battles, fights, conflict, and schemes. There is a quickness that is associated with this aspect since Gemini and Aries are both quick in nature, but also a cleverness because Mercury is a cunning and clever planet, receiving assistance from Mars who’s sign its in now. The heat starts to intensify.
A lot of the water energy will start to shift to fire, which suggest the introversion and introspection that Pisces gives starts to become more active. Mercury will still be under the beams, but now moving away from the Sun—leaving the harshness the Sun can bring. There is a certain level of quickness and urgency to act that comes as the Moon leaves the benefic enclosure and makes a trine over to Mars in Gemini. Mars in the trine allows for fights, conflict, and competition to rapidly and easily develop. We may feel more alert, energized, and motivated to accomplish goals today. Mars is always the planet telling us to work, do more, and exert physical energy. Expect to be irritated as Mars can also incite anger and frustration.
The Moon will then enter Pisces, where it gains a little more strength by being in the sign of its Triplicity, which signifies we can find support from our friends, allies, and supporters today. The Moon entering a water sign adds for a more spiritual, introspective, and relaxed tone for the weekend. Urging us to get in touch with our emotions, body, and practice care. The Moon will, however, make a conjunction to Saturn in Pisces, marking the first conjunction of the Moon to Saturn since its ingress. When the Moon makes a conjunction to Saturn, it makes the mood more somber, depressing, and crude. Take a look at the house Pisces rules in your chart, because you might notice this conjunction brings an introduction of limitations, restrictions, and challenges in this particular house. The Moon communicates the challenges that Saturn invites into this house, slowing things down, bringing delays, and walls in our path. There is some support that is brought from Venus in Taurus being the next aspect that the Moon makes after it conjoins Saturn, which shows the events we experience will shift from sorrow to laughter. Venus adds more luxury, artistic, creative, and sensual components to what we interact with today. This Moon/Saturn conjunction will be the first of many for the next 3 years, so its safe to say we will need to get used to these issues and address them in whatever house they’re falling in our chart. Saturn is often an indicator of chronic or long term problems since it moves so slowly through the sky. After the Moon makes a sextile to Venus it will continue to move through this sign while the Sun makes its transition into Aries on Monday. We will have more about this transit taking place next week.
