Weekly Graphic
Monday March 6th
[11:32 AM ET] The Moon in Virgo opposes Mercury at 06º28’ Pisces
On Monday, the Moon in Virgo will make an opposition to Mercury in Pisces. This clash of energy happens around noon ET during the day, and the Moon has moved into the sign where it will be full. The Moon is in Mercury’s sign, and opposing its ruler who is currently exiled and fallen in Pisces. The Fall of Mercury emphasizes issues with communication, challenges in translations, and errors in information, writing, and numbers. Mercury is the planet of discourse and debate, and in an opposition to the Moon she brings confrontation, conflict in information, and contention. This aspect is helpful though because the Moon is in Virgo which is the exaltation and home of Mercury, carrying the cold and dry nature, and is pushing it over to Mercury who is far away from home and lacking resources. Mercury in Pisces can indicate issues with definition and getting clear, detailed, understanding but the Moon pushing the nature of Virgo over to Mercury helps strengthen our knowledge, understanding, and comprehension, leading to us being more critical, detail oriented, and meticulous. The Moon in Virgo is here to give us a revelation of information and knowledge that we overlooked, did not understand, or acknowledge. The Moon is in its Triplicity here in Virgo, so it can rely on its allies, friends, and supporters for help. This will be the only aspect for the day, and then the Moon
Tuesday March 7th
[7:40 AM ET] LUNATION: Full Moon at 16º40’ Virgo
[8:34 AM ET] INGRESS: Saturn enters Pisces
[6:06 PM ET] The Moon in Virgo square Mars at 21º59’ Gemini
Tuesday is one of the most important days of the year. Today Saturn finalizes and completes it 3 year long transit through its domicile Aquarius, a journey that started when Saturn entered Aquarius in March 2020. Saturn finishes this journey today, moving on, which shows the removal of restrictions, hardships, struggles, removal of limitations, and endings in this house that may have endured here since 2020. Saturn will bring those themes to the sign Pisces over the next 3 years, and to all the mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces). The Full Moon in Virgo comes to a culmination as Saturn ingresses, within the hour. This Full Moon will witness the ingress of Saturn into this sign, which does somber the mood, make it more serious, and heavy. However, the Moon’s next aspect will be a square to Mars in Gemini which also makes this Full Moon confrontational, aggressive, fricative, and filled with competition. The Moon and Mars square off at the end of the day but this aspect will be building throughout the entire day. Being “on edge” and riled up is the theme. It is an antsy, energetic, and chaotic Full moon in the inconsistent, changeable, mutable signs. The malefics are activated here with Saturn’s ingress and Mars’ square, who is getting ready to leave Gemini and enter Cancer this month. As for Saturn…
Saturn’s motion through the sky is slow. It spends 3 years in a sign, and 30 to move around all 12 signs. When it enters a specific sign, it shows the introduction of enduring, long term, and long-lasting things to the house the sign is located in. Saturn’s influence here can be long lasting and enduring challenges if you’re born during the night time. If you’re born during the day, these changes can be long-lasting elevations, but not without hardship, toil, and labor. Saturn’s goal is to show what is decaying. There is a sense of decay brought to the house Saturn is moving through in your chart. Saturn shows what is “worn out”. It shows the extremes of durability and fragility. Saturn wants change your foundations in the house it moves through to show you what is enduring in your life Saturn will be in the Jupiterian sign of Pisces, who is known for the mystics, poets, diviners, faithful, religious, and living collectively. Saturn demands a rigorous practice of faith and devotion as it goes into Pisces. Saturn is a planet of rigor & meticulousness. Saturn moves into a Mutable sign which talks about inconsistencies and instability with structures. Jupiter loosens restrictions whereas Saturn tries to create them. Saturn is coming into Jupiter’s home trying to bring restrictions to the freedom Jupiter has to offer. This is definitely a contrast to the past few years Jupiter has been going through Pisces. In 2021 and 2022. Jupiter wanted to expand opportunities the house Pisces rules in your chart, remove restrictions, and clear paths for happiness, abundance, and joy to be found. Saturn brings a different energy to this house in 2023. Saturn moves through the Watery sign of Pisces which is Cold & Wet, so Saturn does not find support in trying to restrict the fluidity & changeability of Water. It also shows harm brought to water via pollution, poison, etc. Saturn is a malefic planet, so its nature is to pull things towards extremes, define limitations, and has retentive power. Its coldness inhibits and constricts, whereas the dryness is fricative, rigid, and forceful. The changes Saturn has to bring should loosen up by 2026
Here are some important dates for this Saturn transit.
March 7th, 2023: Saturn ♄ enters Pisces
May 25th, 2025: Saturn ♄ enters Aries ♈︎
Sept 1st, 2025: Saturn ♄ re-enters Pisces ♓︎
Feb 14th, 2026: Saturn ♄ re-enters Aries ♈︎
Pay attention to where Jupiter moves in your chart. The tension between Saturn and Jupiter managing the loosening of restrictions and doubling down on them will be shown over the next few years. If Saturn is bringing restrictions to the house it is in, Jupiter’s job is to tell Saturn to LOOSEN UP! Now things might be somewhat challenging for this first part in 2023, because Saturn and Jupiter will be unaspected. Jupiter cannot manage the restrictions Saturn imposes here until May roles around when Jupiter enters Taurus, then it will be able to negotiate and manage the restrictions that Saturn has set forth in this house. Until then, Saturn shows some firm changes coming to this house.
Wednesday March 8th
[9:43 AM ET] INGRESS: The Moon enters Libra
On Wednesday, the Moon will move through the end of Virgo and enter Libra. The Moon will be ruled by Venus in Aries during this transit who is also in the sign of its exile in Aries. This is the theme for the week, the Moon highlights the chaos and lack of order in the two signs it moves through this week. The Moon in Libra highlights matters of balance, justice, fairness, and harmony and with its ruler in exile, there is a clear lack of peace, lack of harmony, and social irritation floating through the air. The Moon will not connect with any planets today, but it will apply towards an opposition to Jupiter throughout the next 24 hours. The Moon will be somewhat void. I consider the hours a Moon does not connect with a planet to be significant because it is elapsed time, so take this time to rest, relax, and find balance.
Thursday March 9th
[12:27 PM ET] The Moon in Libra opposes Jupiter at 13º51’ Aries
At Noon ET on Thursday, the Moon will make an opposition to Jupiter in Aries after moving further along through this sign. A tug with Jupiter in Aries is indicative of a conflict of faith, with honesty, and trust. The opposition in Aries and Libra has a lot to do with action versus restraint, and while the Moon in Libra tries to balance and mediate tensions, Jupiter shows the tension being applied. Jupiter can offer us elevation, assistance, and support but not without confrontation, strife, and butting heads. Jupiter is a benefic planet and can support us throughout the day, removing limitations, removing restrictions, and opening barriers but it might come with conflict. Jupiter also brings up issues around morality, righteousness, and oaths in the opposition.
Friday March 10th
[4:06 AM ET] The Moon in Libra opposes Venus at 22º03’ Aries
[6:00 AM ET] The Moon in Libra trine Mars at 23º03’ Gemini
[7:05 PM ET] INGRESS: The Moon enters Scorpio
[7:51 PM ET] The Moon in Scorpio trine Saturn at 00º24’ Pisces
The Moon will continue to move through Libra on Friday and it will oppose its domicile lord, Venus, in Pisces, but it will also make a trine to Mars in Gemini. The Moon in Libra highlights an aspect forming between Venus and Mars that goes exact on Saturday. Venus and Mars are making a sextile to each other. The Moon opposing Venus portends for conflict, fights, and arguments over imbalances with justice, fairness, and lack of consideration. If Venus is a planet who signifies harmony, in the fiery, passionate, sign of Aries there is fervor. Venus is a benefic but is exiled in Aries, so her ability to moderate tensions and ease conflict is minimal. I would argue Venus is more severely debilitated in Aries than Virgo or Scorpio since she has triplicity in these signs, being strengthened. In Aries, she does not have strength other than a bound and a decan, none of which overlap. No justice or peace can be found when Venus is exiled. If Venus is the planet who is signifying justice, in Aries shows the breach of justice, lack of order, and transgressions of the law. The benefics in ill dignity is an omen of the corruption of justice. Swift action is taken as the Moon and Venus are both in Cardinal signs and it inflames our passion and actions. Then, the Moon will make a make a trine to Mars in Gemini. This trine further inflames, agitates, ignites, and creates conditions for instigating fights, arguments, and rising social tensions. This will last for a good portion of Friday until around 7 PM, the Moon will enter Scorpio. The first aspect the Moon makes when enter is a trine to Saturn in Pisces. This will be the first aspect the Moon makes to Saturn as it ingresses into this sign. The Moon will go to the sign of her Fall, where her qualities of nourishment, intimacy, care, and nurturance are weakened and worked against. A trine to Saturn offers some support, help, and assistance of Saturn, but the relationship Saturn has been sending into this house changes. Saturn was sending a square into this sign for the past 3 years, but now it will send a trine. The sorrow, seriousness, slowness, and limitations of Saturn will still be present, but now with acceptance and ease because of the positive aspect. The Moon in her Depression shows the decay, ending, and breaking down of things. Where we feel a burning, or stinging sensation, whether it be the cut of an open wound (harm towards the body, Moon in Mars’ sign), or the simmering anger beneath the surface of the Scorpion shell. The Moon in Scorpio shows anger, frustration, and spite. The Moon is in the 9th house from Saturn, so it shows the revelations of how conditions have changed with Saturn’s ingress, but how things have decayed, gotten worse, or worn out since the Moon is Fallen. We may feel tired, exhausted, and serious in addition to that. Take it easy and try to rest throughout the day. The Mars ruled Moon can make you feel on edge.
Saturday March 11th
[3:53 AM ET] The Moon conjoins the South Node at 04º41’ Scorpio
[10:04 AM ET] Venus in Aries sextile Mars at 23º34’ Gemini
On Saturday, the Moon will continue to move through Scorpio and makes a conjunction to the South Node. It shows a period of needing to purge, release, and get rid of any pain, held on tension, and emotions. Because Saturn will not be making a square into this sign anymore, it feels like the purging of emotions from chronic issues found in the house Aquarius rules in your chart. We can feel really drained physically, emotionally, and spirituality. Venus makes her exact sextile to Mars today, and I would argue that even though this is a positive aspect between these planets. Venus is quite disappointed with the conditions this agreement between them is under. Venus is exiled in Aries and Mars is in Gemini. Mars shows how the harm of what it has brought into Gemini, in terms of knowledge and information comes at the expense of fairness, justice, and harmony. Mars continues to fester fights, conflict, and arguments through false information while transiting through Gemini. Hostility and anger are abound for the day. It’s actually interesting because the Moon in Scorpio cannot witness whats going on in Aries or Gemini. So this connection between its domicile lord and Venus indicates agreements and hostility in regards to friendship, love, and social settings, but an undertone of hidden malice, vengeful thoughts. Malefic energy and trickery are abundant for today.
Sunday March 12th
[3:07 AM ET] The Moon in Scorpio trine Mercury at 16º41’ Pisces
[11:31 AM ET] The Moon in Scorpio trine the Sun at 21º49’ Pisces
On Sunday, the Moon will continue to move through Scorpio where it will make a trine to Mercury in Pisces. This trine to Mercury is helpful because it provides the Moon with the ability to communicate sour feelings, the ways we feel hurt, and wronged. The Moon in Scorpio highlights the sting of our pain, and Mercury in the water sign trining Pisces signified the poetic explantation and expression of our words. We might be put in a situation where we need to vocalize how we feel, but find difficulty doing so. Mercury is not in the best of conditions currently as it is combust, and is slowed down, in its Fall in Pisces making it harder to articulate our thoughts, and square a malefic, which brings conflict and arguments. Mercury in Pisces might take a different approach to expressing itself than speaking or writing. Mercury might paint, draw, meditate, and divine on it. Communication does not always need to be verbal is what Mercury in Pisces says. This is a great time for learning, studying, and divining. The Moon in Scorpio will then make a trine to the Sun in Pisces which is a great aspect, since the luminaries are in agreement. The Moon in Scorpio gives us revelations over hidden, secret, and concealed matters as she trines the Sun, providing us with knowledge, the watching of omens, and realizations about the shifting somberness in how one feels. The Moon making a trine to the Sun as the last aspect through this sign makes us end things on a more enlightening and illuminating note since the Sun can provide clarity and insight. Scorpio Moons will start to lighten up more now that Saturn will not be in aspect.
