Introduction

Welcome to the week ahead everyone. This week is a pretty big week we have ahead of us. Venus is being liberated from her Besiegement by the Moon at the beginning of the week. Here is a photo I took on March 28th at 6:02 AM ET. It features the Moon in Aquarius, moving towards Mars, and Venus conjoining Saturn.

The houses that Venus rules in our chart will feel an alleviation of pressure at the beginning of the week, and by the end of it, the Moon and Mercury will both conjoin the Sun in Aries, planting new seeds, new beginnings, and brings cardinal energy in full effect. Three planets in Aries and three planets in Aquarius creates a change an elemental dynamic in the week where most of the elemental makeup has shifted towards Fire and Air, sharing the quality of heat, but fire is dry and air is wet. This is like what happens when you fan the embers: they grow brighter. This can be really great energy for giving momentum to new beginnings to culminate by the Full Moon, but within that time, we’re in the week leading up to the Mars/Saturn conjunction Monday next week on April 4th. Take a look at the house Aquarius rules in your chart, stress may be felt surrounding these topics during this time. This is what malefics aim to do, and thats why it makes the beginning of the month, and this week, bring this tension between Mars and Saturn to a greater climax. Mars wants to break Saturn’s rules. Saturn wants to reprimand Mars. Their rumbles will be felt this week. Malefic energy is great for going outside of your comfort zone and testing the limits of what makes you comfortable, so exploring outside of your limits will be something highlighted this week in the house Aquarius rules in your chart. Generally, it is a week of new beginnings, phasing out Pisces Season and March and jumping fresh into the beginning of Spring with April. Things get scary at the beginning of the month and fear being heightened is something that becomes especially relevant, but when the benefics, Venus and Jupiter, conjoin at the end of the month, the fear that was there will be alleviated, filled with hope, faith, and balance. Let’s get into this week.
Monday March 28th
(1:08 AM ET) The Moon conjoins Mars at 16º28’ Aquarius
(9:48 AM ET) The Moon conjoins Venus at 21º29’ Aquarius
(10:11 AM ET) The Moon conjoins Saturn at 21º43’ Aquarius
(3:27 PM ET) Venus conjoins Saturn at 21º44’ Aquarius
Y'all know I’ve been talking about the besiegement for quite a while now, well the day finally arrives. After the Moon entered Aquarius on Sunday, the Moon moves over to Mars working to free Venus from her besiegement. She conjoins Mars, then comes to contact Venus, then the Moon crosses over to Saturn, exiting the besiegement. The Moon interferes with all the aspects taking place between these planets with her body, light, and glow. Right after the Moon conjoins Saturn, Venus gets ready to conjoin Saturn and leaves her besiegement by 3:27 PM ET. Venus has been really fed up with Mars’ bullshit lately, and she wants a permanent separation or break. Venus conjoining Saturn is looking for a pause or a stopping moment in relationships. Venus is unhappy with the current pressure she has to endure from Mars, and Saturn has to settle their separation. So Venus conjoins Saturn today, and delivers news to Saturn about what happened on February 16th when Mars conjoined Venus, attacking her, since Mars is a malefic planet. Venus came back to throw a jab at Mars on March 6th when they entered Aquarius. Ever since, Venus has needed a third party to intervene, but still faces changes of orthodoxy, hegemony, social standard, and what is deemed as societally acceptable. Venus and Saturn can find some level of agreement here, but they’re on Saturn’s terms. Rules, laws, structure in society. Once Venus gets to the other side of Saturn, she doesn’t have as much pressure anymore to deal with. She’s moving towards the sign of her exaltation in Pisces, looking forward to being supported and uplifted after being disempowered not only from being besieged, but from her Retrograde cycle in Capricorn in Dec-Jan. The pressure around Venus topics eases up, but now more challenges and danger looms as Mars gets ready to conjoin Saturn, without Venus in the middle between them. There may be some major issues that have been prevented from happening before this, but now Mars will bring challenges to Saturn and the houses Saturn rules coming up towards the beginning of April. Mars/Saturn conjunctions are the two malefic planets coming together, to bring challenging experiences, accidents, extremes, polarization, and stress to the house they conjoin. Their conjunction happens every 2 years, so it is a frequent cycle, but nonetheless, the two bad doers coming together is an omen of challenges coming forth. Depending on your chart, it could not be so terrible. If you’re born during the daytime, you’ll be experiencing the issues moreso with topics that Mars represents in your chart, and if you’re born during the night, the issues will be surrounding disruption to Saturnian topics. Mars is the Favored Malefic in a nocturnal chart and is less harmful, whereas Saturn is Unfavored Malefic, vicious, and cold in the nighttime. Saturn is the Favored Malefic in a diurnal chart and is less harmful, whereas Mars is the Unfavored Malefic in the daytime, where Mars’ passions are ignited, inflamed, and full of combustive energy. As we move into April this month, we see the clashing of hot and cold energies in the house Aquarius rules in your chart with Mars/Saturn. Mars is the extreme of heat, Saturn is the extreme of cold. Ultimately, circumstances start to shift starting off in the week, but these have been building since March 5th, when Venus and Mars first entered Aquarius.
The Moon being the planet that introduces hope, aid, & liberation to Venus’ challenging situation signifies people represented by the Moon would be involved in liberation work currently. One of the ways we can determine who the Moon is based off her phase. If the Moon is New, as a waxing crescent, it is like a newborn baby. But if the Moon is Waning as a crescent, it is like someone who is at the end of their life. The Moon is usually seen as mothers, or maternal figures, older sisters, nurses, queens, women in power, in particular because the Moon is waning, this could be older women in power, grandmothers, elderly women, these people would be helping Venus out of her challenging situation, which are people like musicians, dancers, queens, nobles, silk-makers, and courtesans, lawyers, justices, judges, people working within law, art, relationships, and lovers. Better days are coming for Venus, and older maternal figures are saving the day.
Tuesday March 29th
(12:31 AM ET) INGRESS: The Moon enters Pisces
As we enter into Tuesday, the Moon enters Pisces early in the Morning after her crusade through Aquarius to liberate Venus from her challenging situation. The Moon flounders and swims through Pisces for more than 37 hours until it conjoins Jupiter tomorrow. This is a perfect day to do absolutely nothing! The Moon is void, this is time to rest. Don’t force things to happen if they’re not coming together. The Moon is going void in a mutable sign, so things are subject to fluctuation and change. Things can go one way but another the next, the same way the tides of the ocean change. Take it easy and rest up.
Wednesday March 30th
(1:24 PM ET) The Moon conjoins Jupiter at 20º59’ Pisces
(5:54 PM ET) The Moon conjoins Neptune at 23º31’ Pisces
VOID MOON: 5:54 PM ET to 5:30 AM ET tomorrow
On Wednesday, the Moon conjoins Jupiter, after swimming through Pisces for all of Tuesday. The vibes are still the same on Wednesday, confusion, wondering, wandering, emotional reflection, but the Moon conjoins the greater benefic, which is great for gaining support, friendship, approval, and acceptance from other people. Jupiter tries to mellow out the day. This is the day to have fun with friends, relax, and get ready as the Moon begins to lose more and more light, becoming dark by tomorrow. Today should be a nicer day, and can definitely be calmer than most. Jupiter in a water sign gives the emotional expansiveness and wisdom to express and share with others in the waters of Pisces. If theres anything you want to do and get a positive, optimistic, or hopeful outcome, do it today when the Moon conjoins Jupiter. Good vibes.
Thursday March 31st
(5:30 AM ET) INGRESS: The Moon enters Aries
(10:34 PM ET) The Moon conjoins Mercury at 09º24’ Aries
As we go into Thursday, the Moon enters Aries bright an early in the morning, getting ready to head into the Sun’s Beams becoming dark. This weekend, both Mercury and the Moon will be making conjunctions with the Sun, starting new cycles, being renewed with source energy from the Sun, and being reborn. We’ll have our first lunation at the beginning of the month tomorrow, the New Moon in Aries (which should technically be called the Dark Moon, because the New Moon technically refers to when the Moon is first visible not when it conjoins the Sun exactly). However, Mercury also conjoins the Sun on Saturday and comes to catch up with the Sun after its previous Retrograde cycle in Jan 14th to Feb 3rd. Mercury will now shift from being a morning star, only visible before sunrise, to being an evening star, only visible after sunset. During this change phase, Mercury is coming to the end of it’s cycle, it is equivalent of someone who is older or slower. When Venus and Mercury shift to become an evening star, they’re getting ready to eventually go retrograde, and Mercury will be preparing to go Retrograde again in May, which will be opened up throughout April. Before this happens this weekend, the Moon conjoins Mercury today, and the two messengers agree in urgency of communication, as they are swift, however they’re both combust, and weakened. It’s as if there is something that wants to be said, but feeling like you don’t have the words to describe what you want. Frustration with thoughts and emotions come up today, try to channel energy out of your body.
Friday April 1st
(2:24 AM ET) LUNATION: New Moon at 11º30’ Aries
(6:07 PM ET) The Moon in Aries sextile Mars at 20º01’ Aquarius
(11:03 PM) The Moon in Aries sextile Saturn at 22º08’ Aquarius
On Friday, we start off the month with the Moon conjoining the Sun and becoming purged, blank, and renewed. The Dark Moon is a fresh beginning for the Moon already (since the symbolism behind conjunctions is that they start and end cycles). The Moon is also in Aries, the beginning sign of the zodiac, and in a cardinal sign, which represents the beginning of the season. If this isn’t an omen of a new beginning, I don’t know what is. The house that Aries rules in your chart will gain a lot of activity this coming month with both the Sun and Mercury here, and Jupiter eventually entering here on May 10th. A new seed is planted in this part of your chart, and the next planets that the Moon reaches is Mars and Saturn who are getting ready for their conjunction on Monday. The Moon is in agreement and increasing the momentum of the Mars/Saturn conjunction, which is the two malefic planets coming together to create problems, challenges, and conflict. The last time Mars and Saturn conjoined was on March 31st, 2020 at 0º Aquarius, and this next conjunction is on April 4th, 2022 at 22º Aquarius. Think back to this time and what were some challenges you experienced in the house Aquarius rules in your chart. There may be another set of similar challenges that occurs again this year, lasting until the next Mars/Saturn conjunction in 2024. The Moon applying to malefic planets increase the growth of that which polarizes, increases fights, challenges, strife, force, power, and courage to engage conflict. Courage increases, and we’re called to bring more action and motion to the house Aries rules in our chart. Expect things to be spicy today.
Saturday April 2nd
(6:24 AM ET) The Moon in Aries sextile Venus at 26º35’ Aquarius
(9:51 AM ET) The Moon in Aries square Pluto at 28º25’ Capricorn
(12:50 PM ET) INGRESS: The Moon enters Taurus
(7:10 PM ET) SYNODIC CYCLE: Mercury Cazimi at 13º11 Aries
As we move into the weekend, the Moon ends its transit through Aries by making a sextile to Venus, meeting up with her for the first time since she liberated her from besiegement between Mars and Saturn. Things feel friendly and nice throughout most of the morning, a Moon in a positive aspect to the benefics always feels really good, and then the Moon actually enters into Venus’ sign. So it’s like they’re in agreement, and then Venus makes her home all nice and cozy for the Moon to come into, Taurus, the sign of her exaltation. The Moon and Venus have a beautiful relationship, and its actually kind of funny because Venus and Saturn have this relationship too, where Venus exalts both the Moon and Saturn in her two signs, and Venus, given her challenging situation that passed, leveraged the connections and support she has provided for others to return the favor and help them in a time where she needs it. And now the Moon can come into Venus’ sign, happy, in reception with Venus. The next few days are really important because both luminaries, the Sun and Moon are exalted, which is said to be a day of great fortune because both of the planets who emit light, Luminaries, are in the signs of their exaltation. Mercury will also conjoin the Sun on this day, so this may be a day of great clarity for a lot of people. Getting an important message, email, or piece of information is usually what happens when Mercury enters into the Heart of the Sun. Some knowledge that helps you to be able to explore the options of what you can continue to grow as the Moon waxes and culminates by the Full Moon in Libra. Mental clarity is achieved on this day. If there were any stagnation with deliver of packages, letters, transportation, mail, etc. these issues should be resolved by today and moving forward. After today, Mercury will be separating from the Sun getting ready to become an evening star and start a new retrograde cycle in Gemini and Taurus.
Sunday April 3rd
(1:46 PM ET) The Moon conjoins Uranus at 13º01’ Taurus
To end the week, the only event for Sunday is that the Moon will conjoin Uranus, creating disruption and volatility to our sense of comfort, routine, pleasure, and material enjoyment. The Moon will be moving towards a square to both Mars and Saturn all day on Sunday going into Monday, and it creates extreme lethargy, because its conjunct the North Node and both malefics are overcoming the Moon. The Moon is often a significator of health, so having both malefics in a hard aspect, dominating over the moon, based on their zodiacal position, it could talk about accidents or challenges in health that lead to needing rest and recovery. Be careful of long term injury, because Mars is in Saturn’s sign. The Moon on Uranus doesn’t help with calming things, but encourages disruption. It can feel like an exhaustive day with both the malefics overcoming the Moon, so naps are definitely encouraged on this day. The Moon will highlight challenges going on in the Aquarius part of your chart through the house that Taurus rules in your chart going from Sunday into Monday. Tomorrow is the Mars/Saturn conjunction, and even in this entire week as the buildup, and the entire week after releasing the energy, we’re going to feel both the malefics coming together in the sky. The malefics represent the principles of extremity on different sides of the spectrum of elemental mixtures. Mars represents the extreme of heat, and Saturn represents the extreme of cold. What happens when you put hot and cold air together? Thunder. The thunder will be roaring loudly this week. Especially by the end of this week after the Moon and Mercury conjoin the Sun, this is when the pace of things for April start to really pick up.
