November continues Eclipse Season & brings us our last Eclipse of the year which is a Lunar Eclipse in Taurus. This one echos & mirror the last lunar Eclipse that took place in this sign in 2021, & it invites similar culminations to the house Taurus rules in your chart. This Eclipse really activates the ongoing tension between Saturn in Aquarius and Uranus in Taurus, granted the aspect between them is separating, but Uranus is exactly conjoined the month on the Eclipse, and it will even get occulted by the Eclipse, depending on location. Either way, this Lunar Eclipse really activates the energy of Uranus for the month and in this tension with Saturn, it highlights the ongoing issues with breaks and shakeup in infrastructure, governments, resource instability & scarcity, & supply chain issues. There is some revelation around fraud, cheating, and lies with a Mercury Cazimi taking place in Scorpio on the day of the Eclipse, exactly opposite the eclipse in fact. Shocking, disrupting, and sudden news + insights reverberate throughout the month. There is a really nice Grand Water Trine on 11/13-11/14 where Jupiter is in Pisces and the Moon is in Cancer both at home and they make a trine to Venus in Scorpio. This Grand Water trine offers a lot of compassion, empathy, wisdom, and insight to release & let go of pain. Both Jupiter and the Moon are strong in their domiciles and are able to push their virtues, the Moon for nourishment, care, and vitality and Jupiter for support, knowledge, empathy, and community to help Venus who has been having a really rough time in Scorpio. Venus then goes into Sagittarius where she leaves her Exile, which can be a condition of improvement for love, relationships, and seeking justice. Its funny because where Venus leaves her exile, Mercury enters theirs and its qualities of contradiction & debates are supressed. Mercury is a planet that seeks to challenge, debate, and contradict, whereas Jupiter seeks to affirm, support, and grow, whereas Mercury picks apart. And a lot of these contradictions have to be addressed because of Mars in Gemini in Mercury's sign. Competition, conflict, and contradiction are all big themes for the month of November too as Mars will be Retrograde for its first full month in November and it encounters oppositions from Mercury and Venus, who will be traveling together in the sky for the next few months. After all the secrets and revelations about infidelity, lack of faithfulness in relationships, lies, and slander, there will be a confrontation of faithfulness, the truth, and having to address disinformation, lying, and inaccuracies within facts/data. This opposition of Mercury to Mars inflames speech, puts lot of tension in communication, Mars is a planet of loudness so with Mercury it can indicate shouting, screams, and verbal protests. The theme is very much "Are you willing to fight for what you believe in" this Sag Season. Since Mars is in Gemini, it will oppose the Sun in Sagittarius which marks the halfway point in Mars' Retrograde cycle. This won't come until December but now the Sun, Venus, and Mercury can all actually witness the planet they were ruled by in Scorpio. Jupiter also stations Direct this month, which represents the restoration of action, faith, fulfillment, abundance, and removing limitations in the house that Pisces rules in your chart. Jupiter offers more wisdom, insight, and hopefulness to be brought to this house. The Mutable Signs, (Gemini, Sag, Pisces, Virgo), are all active in the second half of the month, and the changeable, adaptable, and fluctuating nature of the mutable signs can definitely be felt. It’s going to require us to break out of the fixity and stagnancy of Scorpio Season.
Nov 1st: Quarter Moon in Aquarius
The opening week of November starts off quite rocky and chilly as the Moon brings growth and increase to the sign of Aquarius, and to the indications of Saturn in Aquarius, who has freshly stationed direct. One of the main points of the first week of November is that it is of course Eclipse Season, and with Saturn at the bending, squaring the nodes, infrastructures, sense of stability, extremes, and restrictions are highlighted. This tension in power dynamics, maintaining control and authority is the tension between Scorpio and Aquarius. Out of all the fixed signs, these are the colder signs, and this waxing moon specifically brings rise to more chilliness and coldness with the house Aquarius rules in your chart. Saturn is able to firm boundaries and retain form after dealing with lots of volatility and shake ups from Uranus in Taurus. The Saturn/Uranus square has been something we’ve been talking about for quite a while, and its been a major theme for 2020-2022. The tension between the extremely wealthy trying to maintain power and control, in government, institutions, and establishments in society, represented by Saturn in Aquarius, and Uranus in Taurus indicating the ongoing issue with resource instability, climate change, comfort, nourishment, food, and how access to resources are sustained. The fixed enduring nature of Taurus and Aquarius mesh with the famine, hunger, lack of nourishment, and deprivation found with all the planets in Scorpio. The Sun is currently traveling with bodyguards, Mercury and Venus on both sides, all ruled by Mars Retrograde in Gemini currently. Mars will be Retrograde the entire month, which indicates there is some slowness in action, reversals, and delays in the house Gemini rules. Maybe theres some secrets, something unseen, and hidden in the house Scorpio rules effecting the Gemini house. Saturn can clearly see the dynamic of what is happening with all planets, except Jupiter, who is averse in Pisces. We get a lot of Fixed Activation in this early part of the month, and that theme will persist throughout the month, until the Scorpio stellium will move into Sagittarius.
This first week also features the first Moon/Jupiter conjunction in Pisces since Jupiter re-entered Pisces on October 28th, which sets the tone for the entire month of November. November is quite funny in that way where its the only full month of Jupiter in Pisces we get in the Fall.
Jupiter in Pisces, round 3, brings more clarity and wisdom to the mystery than the previous two times Jupiter was here.
Round 1: May 13th 2021 to July 28th, 2021
Round 2: Dec 28th 2021 to May 10th, 2022
Round 3: Oct 28th, 2022 to Dec 20th, 2022
Jupiter is said to be at home in Pisces and has a lot of strength to bring about the things it represents, trust, faith, honesty, indulgence, peace, religion, faith, worship, and devotion to promises and oaths. The first time Jupiter entered Pisces would’ve been a lot smoother of a transit, but still require some revision and to rethink our beliefs, oaths, commitments, freedom, and indulgence. During this time the Sun was in Cancer trining Jupiter in Pisces, and because Jupiter was in the overcoming position making the trine, this came as Jupiter would station Retrograde, indicating confusion, and revision that Jupiter would eventually return to deal with in 2022.
The second time Jupiter entered Pisces would’ve been felt a LOT different. This is because Jupiter entered after its Retrograde cycle was over in 2022, and we in a state of ending, closing, and wrapping up its previous cycle from 2021. The Winter/Spring 2022 was a process of cultivating faith through loss, through freedom, and because Jupiter was burnt up by the Sun, combust, it brought feelings of wandering, floundering, uncertainty, and even haziness/confusion with co-presence with Neptune. The reason why Jupiter in Pisces for this second round sucked for some people is because Jupiter was ending its cycle and pretty much being consumed by fire throughout February/March. This was Jupiter purging shit in the house Pisces rules in the Spring/Winter
And now for Round 3 of Jupiter in Pisces, it will be able to witness all the planets in Scorpio who are currently getting challenged with Eclipse Shenanigans, hard aspects from malefics, and being ruled by a Retrograde Mars in Gemini. Jupiter this time around will feel somewhat similar to 2021 when Jupiter initially ingressed, but because the Sun will be in the overcoming position in Scorpio making a trine to Jupiter, it will cause Jupiter to station Direct. A planet stationing direct is typically a good omen. The affairs of what that planet represents are fortified, rectified, and can resume in the sign/house the planet is traveling through. Jupiter is revisiting the house Pisces rules to provide more wisdom, insight and rounding out a more complete understanding of this area of life. This is a final moment of revision in the house Pisces rules in your chart. If you think the story of the topics of this house are over, Jupiter has one little surprise left. This re-ingress will bring things to completion in this house that have been in the works since May 2021
One of the gifts of Pisces is that it is able to create wisdom out of suffering, and where the planets in Scorpio highlight some betrayal in commitments/relationships, Jupiter offers an opportunity to make sense of it, to affirm this pain, and find a way to release it. Jupiter is coming to restore faith, restore trust, and remove limits and restrictions in this part of your chart through making oaths, taking vows, and desiring peace, community, and inclusion, all things Pisces is great at. Jupiter of Pisces can bring more insight and clarity over your emotions, pains, and deep wounds (Sun in Scorpio), and allow you to find the courage to trust, to love, and to find acceptance. These themes of Jupiter in Pisces are especially highlighted as the Moon will conjoin Jupiter on Friday (11/4) and connect with all the planets in Scorpio.
Nov 8th: Lunar Eclipse in Taurus
One of the major events for the month is definitely in the second week when we have our Lunar Eclipse in Taurus. It is definitely one of the climactic moments of the month, as it brings this Eclipse Season to a full culminating moment. Eclipses come in pairs because they’re tied with the lunation cycle, so two weeks ago when we had the Solar Eclipse, it could indicate some endings, needing to release and let go of things. Eclipses on the South Node are clearing out, detoxing, and bringing things to an ending in the house that they fall in. This comes in a contrast to this Eclipse which will have the Moon conjoined North Node in Taurus, representing an increase or growth of some sorts in the house Taurus rules.
To take a moment to analyze this chart, we see that the Ascendant is in Scorpio, so this tells us who will be effected by the Eclipse. This indicators surgeons, butchers, sailors, those who work with drugs or medicine, such as physicians. So this could indicate some sort of challenge with health related matters too. In terms of places effected, Al Biruni gives the Hijaz, the desert of Arabia, and Yemen. The ruler of the Horoscope is Mars who is in the sign of Gemini, currently Retrograding through the 8th house, so it portends for a revelation about death, someone’s passing, maybe about debts, money thats owed, and potentially some scandal or fraud surrounding that since Mars is in Gemini. There could be disputes, arguments, false information, and tension with news, scholars, education. Maybe this indicates some sort of repeal or delays with funding in education. Its also worth noting that there is a mutual reception between Mars and Mercury, who is the ruler of the 1st and the ruler of the 8th house house. Mercury seems to be really important in this chart, especially because it is also moving towards a conjunction with the Sun. As the Lord of the 8th moving towards the lord of the 10th, this could talk about fraud, scams, and false information in regards to authority, rule, etc. This could indicate a revelation around election fraud during this time, secret financial deals, and even issues around theft. Mars seems to be confused here, not only in a square to Neptune, but it is also Retrograde. This could potentially indicate the news about the death of a ruler since the ruler of the 8th is moving towards the Sun. I wonder if this could also be related to health topics, maybe COVID, since Mars is also the lord of the 6th house of illness. Mars in Gemini deals with respiratory illness and harm related to the air. This could also indicate an increase in deaths in covid cases maybe, since the lord of the horoscope can usually indicate what will happen to the people.
This Eclipse is in Taurus, which indicates the effects will be felt, according to Al Biruni, in the districts of Iraq, Cyprus, Mountains of Kurdistan, Cyprus, Alexandria, Constantinople, Herat (Afghanistan). The ruler of this Taurus Eclipse itself is Venus, who is in the sign of Scorpio, opposite to the Eclipse. Venus’ condition is really emphasized not only for this Eclipse but also for the month. Venus is moving through Scorpio, which is the sign of its exile. A planet exiled is the furthest from its home, in this case the furthest from Taurus, seeking nourishment, sustenance, comfort, and care, Venus is deprived of these qualities in Scorpio. Venus is the planet of relationships and of partnerships, and exiled in Scorpio, Venus doesn’t have strength to bring about these things in our live. Venus in Scorpio was usually an omen of infidelity, cheating, and sex and relationships that betray an oath or promise. The emphasis of the Martian qualities show excess of selfishness, covertness, cunning, and sneaky qualities. Tension is especially put on relationships as Venus is just separating from a square to Saturn in Aquarius. This can show that there is some somberness, seriousness, maybe news of death or illness, or even famine. I’m also expecting some revelation around divorce or severing ties, and a lot of that has to do with money and finances since Mars is in the 8th. Saturn is tightly square the Eclipse and is in the fourth house, which can indicate tensions with boarders, restrictions, and boundaries because of diplomacy failures.
This Eclipse taking place in Taurus shows this also impacts women, entertainers, tailors, farmers, and merchants, and the challenging condition of Venus shows their weakness as a result of this Eclipse. Taurus also rules cows and bulls, so I wonder if we’ll see challenges with meat supply. Venus is really challenged here since she is combust, in her exile, square a malefic, and ruled by a Retrograde planet. I wonder if we’re going to see some developments in the ongoing attack on women, trans, and LGBTQ rights in various states, at least in the US. Venus squaring Saturn seems to be an indicator of tension with the government, authority, and restrictions. This could be in reference to abortion bans and restrictions therein. I definitely expect there to be this major lawsuit, confrontation, or fight. It is an incredibly climatic Eclipse and it is exactly conjoined to Uranus in Taurus (not shown in chart). This Eclipse really activates the Saturn/Uranus square and shakes infrastructure, highlights resource instability and scarcity especially with food (corn and grain are specified), housing, labor rights activist, disruptions to the status quo, and shows what cracks in the foundations of different structures in society ignite tumult and cause controversies.
William Ramsey says the effects of the Eclipse will be felt in the 3rd and last part of the allotted time. Most ancient astrologers says that you need to take into consideration the duration of Eclipse and use symbolic timing to determine when the effects will manifest. For Solar Eclipses, each minute is equivalent to 1 year, and for Lunar Eclipses, each hour is equivalent to 1 month. This Taurus Lunar Eclipse lasts a total of 5 hours and 54 minutes, roughly 6 hours long. This would give us a symbolic timing of roughly 6 months. Given that the Eclipses is setting in the 7th, it indicates the effects would manifest in the final 3rd/4th of the given months. This would time around April/May to see these effects take place.
This Eclipse brings lots of tension and its a huge climax for the month of November. Take a look at where Taurus falls in your chart, that will give you a hint as to where new situations and circumstances will develop not only for the month but for until next Eclipse season. The Sun and Mercury in Scorpio are both applying to Saturn in Aquarius, which brings tension between news, information, scholars, and government, authority, and there again being some manipulation or fraud at place. Mercury square Saturn is definitely one of those cunning and secretly plotting placements. The Sun squaring Saturn is particularly important too since bring a culmination of events for Saturn’s epicycle. The square is where Saturn starts to regain speed after stationing Direct, but major tension of power, restriction, and authority is at play. Keep an eye on the Gemini/Scorpio axis because its active for the first 2 weeks of November.
Nov 16th: Closing Quarter Moon in Leo
One of the aspects that takes place in the third week of November is the Scorpio stellium will move past this very harsh square to Saturn, which brings blockages, barriers, and restrictions (maybe an embargo?) of impulses, action (Sun), words (Mercury), and in relationships (Venus). Afterwards, these planets all make trines to Jupiter who freshly Retrograded into Pisces. The first planet to come into contact with Jupiter is Venus who is exiled in Scorpio, but Jupiter is at home in Pisces. This contradiction of dignity is important because whereas Venus is in a challenging position, dealing with lies, slander, secrets, and betrayal in relationships but Jupiter is able to offer some support and help to Venus. Jupiter offers wisdom, trust, compassion, empathy, and support from a friend, ally, or committee. After having all of the secrets of Saturn come to a culmination (which is kind of interesting that Scorpio is the 10th House for Aquarius), all the lies, hidden deals, and deception, Jupiter allows us to uncover the truth of the matter, and some of it may be confusing since Jupiter is still Retrograde, but there is wisdom in the contradiction. This week of November is a lot softer for that reason. This may be a time of mourning, sorrow, release of emotions and feelings. Jupiter can talk about people coming together, being more accepting and desiring to create community. This is especially potent when the Moon is in Cancer forming a Grand Water Trine with the planets in Scorpio and Jupiter in Pisces. Not only does Jupiter in their domicile have the ability to support, care, and nourish a Venus who has been exiled in Scorpio, the Moon is able to intervene and help out too, especially because it will be averse to both malefics, aka. no interference with the emotional vibes.
Mercury makes the next trine which is good for writing, communication, knowledge, especially for divination, spirituality, and studying religion. This aspect goes exact as the final quarter when the Moon squares the Sun in Leo and Scorpio. In the fixed signs, the tension between Leo and Scorpio shows the tension between Mars and the Sun, both planets filled with heat and burn things. The Moon is in the Sun’s sign and it is pushing the nature of Leo over towards the Sun who is currently away from their domicile. Where the Sun is currently getting weaker due to the coldness and loss of light, this Leo Moon adds a lot of fire towards the middle part of the month. This Moon will continue to highlight the ongoing tension between the Sun, Saturn, and Uranus, making a Fixed Grand Cross in the sky. We see an incredible amount of tension, stubbornness, and the goal is to maintain authority and power. There is definitely some important emphasis on leaders, rulers, and those who are at the center of power since the Sun is the ruler of Leo.
Venus will also enter Sagittarius on this day, where she will finally leave the sign she is exiled in, furthest away from home, without resources and support, and she enters into much more comfortable territory in Sagittarius. Venus is slowly emerging from the beams of the Sun, and this is one condition where she gains strength by leaving the all consuming nature of the fire of the Sun. She is still in very fiery territory throughout the latter half of November, since she will still be close to the Sun, and in a Fiery Sign, which can add a lot of spontaneity to our social situations and matters of relationships. Whereas Venus may have desired more secret, privacy, and dealt with betrayal in partnerships, Venus finds the optimism of Jupiter, the freedom, and the need to explore all the possibilities of desire and love. Venus is much more open and fluid in terms of love & relationships, but there are some important interactions she’ll be having. The first will be with Mercury who will also enter Sagittarius the following day, which is an interesting dignity shift for Mercury too. Mercury enters the sign of their exile, Sagittarius, where the qualities of Mercury aren’t really supported. This is somewhat of a mild debilitation, however I have seen in transit instances where Mercury as an indicator of facts, information, and logic is thrown out the window, which is not necessarily always a bad thing. Mercury in Sagittarius was original an omen, in natal charts, for someone who is a messenger of the gods since it was in Jupiter’s sign. In other instances, it can be an indicator of gullibility with information or trickery with the truth, because Jupiter and Sagittarius tend to affirm perspectives, whereas Mercury is contradiction. The Jupiterian nature can help Mercury communicate a vision, dream, or fantasy, however the facts, logic, and reason might not all be there. Mercury entering a Fire sign definitely adds more heat and desire for expression, known as the LOUD Mercury. This is an important shift in the month because the element balance shifts from water which can be inactive and consolidating, whereas Fire brings much more expression and activity later in the month. Themes of freedom, speech, relationships, connections, and dogma may come up.
Nov 23rd: New Moon in Sagittarius
Finally the Sun will make a trine to Jupiter at the end of Scorpio Season which is usually an indicator that Jupiter will soon station Direct, and it gives us an insightful end to Scorpio Season. This trine is really nice because it gives us much more clarity and insight as to how how activity is being rectified in the house Pisces rules in your chart. And this brings us to the New Moon in Sagittarius. This New Moon is especially fiery as the Sun will now be back in a sign where it has dignity by triplicity, and the Moon joining in brings 4 planets to be ruled by Jupiter in Pisces, who is stationing direct. There are major new beginnings coming to the house Sagittarius rules, but we really enter into some mutable madness. Debates, arguments, open confrontation, rebellion even are all themes for this New Moon since Mars is exactly on the Ascendant while all these Sagittarian planets are in the 7th house. This is something a lot fo the planets will encounter as this Mars Retrograde lingers on, they will all make an opposition to this Mars in Gemini. All of these contradictions, lies, slander, and disinformation that Mars is spreading is combated by the truth seeking, freedom loving Jupiter, who is able to bring much more clarity and understanding about the truth as it stations Direct. There is also an emphasis on religion and matters around faith, especially because these planets are all situated in Jupiter’s sign. After the plots and secrecy in Scorpio comes the fights for growth and expansion in Sagittarius to lay rest during Capricorn and Aquarius season. Sagittarius is the sign of philosophy, learning, judges, courts, religious sects (Sagittarius usually being associated with Christianity, as well as Pisces, both active), astrologers, interpreters of dreams, so maybe we’ll see these people be important, eminent, or notable since Jupiter is located up in the 10th house. There could be some sort of attack or fight against the religious with Mars on the Ascendant, or maybe there is a court ruling that doesn’t make sense, or breaks the rules somehow. I wonder if these debates will be over LGBTQ rights and Women’s rights and misinformation that is being addressed, or a court ruling of some sorts since Venus and Mercury will be together in Sagittarius.
This is definitely a climax during the later part of the month and this opens up what will be the halfway point in Mars’ Retrograde cycle when the Sun in Sagittarius opposes Mars in Gemini. This actually happens on the night of the Full Moon in Gemini exactly conjoined to Mars, so the inceptions, choices, and decisions made here will definitely spark some outrage or conflict. There is a loudness and audacity to this lunation, desire for peace, freedom, and liberality with Jupiter. Venus and Mercury’s conjunction is potent for this lunation, and typically Mercury is said to be benefic when with the benefic planets, and malefic when with the malefic. In a bodily conjunction to Venus, Mercury turns benefic but there is contradiction because theres the affliction of the malefics. Usually Venus Mercury conjunctions could be talks about love, relationships, give artistic talent, creativity, and eloquence of speech. I wonder how this will play out since Mercury is not in the best of conditions here and approaching a malefic in opposition. There’s a lot of hype and spreading of ideas, information, and philosophy. Needing for action, initiation, and growing, spreading, and expanding nature of fire.
Nov 30th: Opening Quarter Moon in Pisces
There seems to be a lot of misinformation and disinformation that is being highlighted in the next quarter of the month as Mercury, the ruler of Mars is in Sagittarius, will be the first planet to oppose Mars on the day of the quarter moon. This brings lot of conflict with words, not having the right information, trickery with the truth, propaganda, and inflaming speech, attacks on journalist, reporters, those who are messengers, scribes, and writers. Mercury will brings news about the growing tension between Venus and Mars since Venus is next up to oppose Mars. Venus opposing Mars can also be an indicator of challenges and tensions with justice, fairness, diplomacy versus selfishness, fighting, conflict, and in the Gemini/Sagittarius axis it highlights a lot of issues surrounding information, knowledge, justice, law, news, education, and travel. Mercury wants to communicate about what are the right ways to bring fairness in our relationships, partnerships, and agreements. Lots of arguments, fights, and competition and confrontation is highlighted at the end of the month, and the desire is for peace, for justice, and to remove limits and restrictions since the Moon in Pisces will be conjoining Jupiter. This Pisces Moon does look hopeful in the sense that the Moon will be conjoining Jupiter who is finally direct in motion, in domicile, and has more strength to bring about the things it represents, such as freedom, wisdom, indulgence, faith, and trust. There’s a very mixed interpretation here because the Moon will square both the Sun and Mars, and these tense aspects bring conflict and challenge with authority, fights, physical and bodily injury, and harm to the people. There could be a collective sense of compassion, acceptance, and empathy for some sort of fight going on.
There is also another major aspect that it is highlighted during this opening square, and its on Nov 28th when Mars makes a trine to Saturn in Aquarius. Both of these planets have already connected, but they will connect once more. This trine between these planets indicates slowness in activity, feeling stuck or stagnant, in mundane astrology it can indicate plots or secret attacks towards rulers and those in power. Saturn brings an element of secrecy and hiddenness towards Mars’ actions and motives, concealing them, making them premeditated, calculated, and planned. The first interaction they had was on September 28th when Saturn was Retrograde and Mars was direct, but this time we have the reverse. Saturn is Direct and Mars is Retrograde. This indicates the revelation and revealing of such plots or secret actions that were planned in early September. Both Mercury and Venus are involved and are in very close aspect here to Mars and Saturn. I wonder with Mercury in Sagittarius if there is a whistleblower or someone who opens their mouth about some secrets and brings attention to this. There should be some revelations that are being had about harm or challenges that are being brought to the house Gemini rules in your chart. The excess of mutable energy shows a lot of inconsistencies, duality, and the winds of change are definitely blowing. There really is no earth in the entire sky during this time, so there could be a lack in restraint, lack of action, feeling ungrounded and not able to slow down. November really gets our blood pumping and it ignites a passion inside of us to act, to speak up, to call out injustice and violence when we see it. Moral obligations and talks about morality and ethics in regards to news and communication seem to be the big issues here for November.
