Astro Weather Forecast - Issue #8: Week of Nov 7th-14th

Welcome to the Week Ahead everyone! This week is an important week, as we have Wednesday being the star of the show with the Mars/Saturn square being activated and the Mercury/Saturn square. These squares are important because they’re our buildup for our next lunation, a Lunar Eclipse in Taurus on Friday the 19th. We’ll talk more about that later, let’s get into this week. Not going to lie, it can be a bumpy week ahead of us, having to take care of responsibilities and power through roadblocks whether we want to or not. It’s a very fixed week especially with the Moon’s ingress into Aquarius highlighting and activating all of the fixed energy and putting it into motion. We’ll

Happy Monday Everyone!
Monday Nov 8th
(12:18 AM ET) Moon in Capricorn conjoins Venus at 2º36’ Capricorn
(2:12 AM ET) Moon in Capricorn sextile Mercury at 3º46’ Scorpio
(5:48 AM ET) Moon in Capricorn sextile Mars at 5º57’ Scorpio
(4:47 PM ET) Moon in Capricorn trine Uranus at 12º37’ Taurus
We open Monday with a beautiful Moon/Venus conjunction in Capricorn, one of the first aspects being made to Venus who has freshly entered Capricorn. The Moon in Capricorn brings up the theme of responsibility and what types of responsibility we value, and what we can do to work towards that. Monday is really one of the chiller days, if you feel drained, out of energy, and need to just process what you’re feeling, take this day to do so. The sextile to Mercury and to Mars, who are both applying towards a conjunction with each other, brings these conversations on the deeper issues of emotional pain and grief that come up. If the Moon is the fastest moving planet representing day-to-day fluctuations, in Capricorn, the Moon moving slower in a Saturnian environment brings up chronic or long-term issues that are now coming to the surface. Don’t be afraid to share your truth.
Tuesday Nov 9th
(12:06 AM ET) Moon in Capricorn sextile The Sun at 17º00’ Scorpio
VOID MOON: 12:06 AM ET to 10:03 PM ET
(6:00 AM ET) Moon in Capricorn sextile Neptune at 20º32’ Pisces
(12:51 PM ET) Moon conjoins Pluto at 24º35’ Capricorn
(10:03 PM ET) INGRESS: Moon enters Aquarius
Finishing up yesterday of emotional release and awareness, and finding support amongst the turbulence of long-term grief and pain, the Moon continues this pattern of making some nice sextiles to the Sun and Neptune. We can get to the core of all the emotions and situations that were brought up on Monday, and finally, we are able to come to an understanding of what decisions or actions we should take. This is the waxing moon, from the New Moon in Scorpio, we’re renewing ourselves within the next 2 weeks of nourishment we have been deprived of. Remember, your pleasure does not depend on the permission of another. This Moon in Capricorn transit can be really constructive for learning where we find emotional blockages, and what we can do to pull ourselves out of those situations. A conjunction to Pluto later in the day allows us to get to the core of our problems, deep beneath the surface. Ask yourself who takes your emotional agency away from you, and where is the source of your depravity? Going down into the underworld with Pluto is not always going to be easy, but it’s necessary to get to the root of not only our pain, but our desire. The way out is through.
Wednesday Nov 10th
(7:56 AM ET) Mercury conjoins Mars at 7º22’ Scorpio
(10:54 AM ET) Moon in Aquarius square Mars at 7º27’ Scorpio
(11:08 AM ET) Moon in Aquarius square Mercury at 7º35’ Aquarius
(11:14 AM ET) Moon conjoins Saturn at 7º39’ Aquarius
(12:04 PM ET) Mercury in Scorpio squares Saturn at 7º39’ Aquarius
(6:13 PM ET) Mars in Scorpio squares Saturn at 7º40’ Aquarius
(7:45 PM ET) Moon in Aquarius square Uranus at 12º32’ Taurus
Wednesday is a jam-packed day. Mercury comes to conjoin Mars in Scorpio, both Mercury and Mars make their debut square to Saturn, and the Moon passes over all of these planets. Look at what houses Aquarius and Scorpio rule in your birth chart, these topics might be particularly relevant for any challenges or tension that builds over the next day. Mercury square Saturn is getting some sort of challenging news, or potentially having to deliver challenging news, since Mercury is a morning star, delivering information. Both Mercury and the Moon as two messengers are siding with one of the two malefics. The Moon with Saturn, since they’re both in Aquarius, and Mercury with Mars both in Scorpio. There might be some challenges or blockages towards exerting your free will, or moving forward. News of delays can come up for the day, or not being able to move forward until you take care of certain responsibilities in the Aquarius house of your chart. Even though Mars is very powerful in Scorpio, being released from the Sun’s Beams, and is in the overcoming position to Saturn, it’s important to consider the consequences of your actions and to take this slow this time. Mars is moving very fast right now along with Mercury, it’s like a drill that’s digging deeper into the issues of the Scorpio House of your chart. The need to fight or defend one’s self might come up during this time period, maybe with words, since Mercury is involved. Secret documents, receipts, the past, all become relevant. Challenging structure, challenging authority, and challenging the consensus or status quo are all relevant topics and themes. This square is the final closing square to the Mars/Saturn cycle that started back when Mars conjoined Saturn on March 31st, 2020. Any challenges against authority and resistance against structures that become more limiting and isolating are coming to a final trial of resistance with the Mars/Saturn square. Be smart about the choices you make, and gather the information necessary to make the right decisions. Rushing through Saturn will not help in the long term. There is a conflict that cannot be put off any longer, and it’s time to make the final step towards resolving that conflict. The fact that the Moon is passing over this activation today makes all of this conflict stir up a lot quicker than usual.
Thursday Nov 11th
(7:46 AM ET) Moon in Aquarius square Sun at 19º20’ Scorpio
(2:52 PM ET) Moon conjoins Jupiter at 23º19 Aquarius
VOID MOON: 2:52 PM ET to tomorrow at 2:53 AM ET
As we head into Thursday, after the headache of Wednesday (yes it is a headache LOL), the Moon will square the Sun, which is another call towards action, I personally don’t think Wednesday is the day to make decisions on whatever conflict popped up, however, today looks a lot sweeter and there’s an air of optimism that comes up with the decisions we need to make because the Moon will conjoin Jupiter. If we found ourselves being challenged by Mars and Saturn yesterday, Jupiter shows up with a solution and an opportunity to find truth, and to make something work. Benefics are great at providing opportunities for support, and the conjunction to Jupiter plus the square to the Sun is the motivation to make the right choice that aligns with what your truth and vision are. That’s part of the whole reason Jupiter is back in Aquarius, to help us break ties and cut cords that keep us stagnant, which can also be a theme for Wednesday, so we have the freedom to search around and find fulfillment when Jupiter enters Pisces.
Friday Nov 12th
(2:53 AM ET) INGRESS: Moon enters Pisces
(11:23 AM ET) Sun in Scorpio trine Neptune at 20º30’ Pisces
(3:17 PM ET) Moon in Pisces sextile Venus at 6º47’ Capricorn
(7:28 PM ET) Moon in Pisces trine Mars at 9º03’ Scorpio
On Friday, the Moon enters Pisces, and we start the day fresh. This day looks to be more supportive and is one of the sweet spots for the week. Not only does the Moon only make trines and sextiles for the day, the Sun is making a trine to Neptune in Pisces. This is important because whenever the Sun makes a trine to a planet slower than it, that planet is now in the process of getting ready to station Direct. Neptune in Pisces has this interesting cycle because it will station Retrograde everytime the Sun is in Cancer, Direct in Scorpio, and the opposition point is in Virgo. What is real versus what is not real. I’ve been discussing this on Twitter a lot lately, because Jupiter conjoins Neptune in Pisces in 2022. We’re about to get a taste of being able to access fantasy or dreams. Back to the present, lol (forgive me I jump around timelines a lot). The Sun trines Neptune and wraps up its Retrograde cycle, getting ready to station Direct by December 1st. This is a period where we may actually find more clarity within what illusions have been presented to us since July 15th, with the previous Sun/Neptune trine. The Moon is also moving through the same terrain as Neptune, making a sextile to Venus in Capricorn, making this day great for finding the wisdom necessary to understand what action is the best to take to have pleasure in the long term. Venus in Capricorn has us thinking about the investment in the quality of the future, and whether the way we shape our future is informed by our choices and actions in the present. Capricorn is all about foresight. And Venus, who is in a whole sign sextile to Mars in Scorpio makes our efforts and actions geared towards long-term investment. We act not for today, but for tomorrow. We desire a better future. How that looks like depends on our vision with the Sun trine Neptune in Pisces with the Moon. Think about the future on Friday. How do your decisions in the present predetermine your fate in the future?
Saturday Nov 13th
(12:22 AM ET) Moon in Pisces trine Mercury at 11º43’ Scorpio
(1:43 AM ET) Moon in Pisces sextile Uranus at 12º26’ Taurus
(10:56 AM ET) Mercury opposite Uranus at 12º25’ Taurus
(4:45 PM ET) Moon conjoins Neptune at 20º29’ Pisces
(7:18 PM ET) Moon in Pisces trine Sun at 21º50’ Scorpio
VOID MOON: 7:18 PM ET to tomorrow at 10:48 AM ET
We come to Saturday with the Moon still deep in Pisces, making nice trines to Mercury in Scorpio. Anything can happen. And yes, quite literally anything can happen. Mercury is opposite Uranus. Expected the unexpected. Uranus tends to have a disruptive quality, so this news can potentially be disruptive, and after finding some challenges or delays, this news can speed up the pace of things. Anything is possible with the Moon conjoining to Neptune. Anything can be fabricated out of thin air. The relationship between the Pisces and Scorpio energy for this day speaks toward transitioning from hunger to fulfillment. This is going to be the Moon’s last aspect to the Sun until it opposes the Sun which will be during the Lunar Eclipse next Friday.
Sunday Nov 14th
(12:39 AM ET) Moon in Pisces sextile Pluto at 24º40’ Capricorn
(10:48 AM ET) INGRESS: Moon enters Aries
Finally, we wrap up the TRIP the Moon in Pisces has taken us on, and the Moon enters Aries. The Moon won’t be making any aspect on this day, and is just running through the first few degrees of Aries, which will also be somewhat void for the entire day (remaining 13 hrs ET). Honestly, take the day to relax. Don’t work too hard if you cant, it’s a time to do nothing with the Void Moon. Allow yourself to just take time to yourself and to think. The Moon in Aries is a good time to take some alone time and tend to yourself.
