Astro Weather Forecast - Issue #5

Welcome everyone to the 5th update of the Astro Weather Forecast.
This is a pretty eventful week, as we have Mercury and Jupiter both stationing Direct at the beginning of the week, and as we transition over to the middle of the week, we have the Full Moon in Aries. By the end of the week, we’re at the end of Libra Season, and moving into Scorpio Season, the first of any of the Scorpio ingresses since Venus was in Scorpio. I honestly think this week can bring a lot of clarity and feels like it requires a lot of action. We may have some clarity and understanding of what has been re-visted in Libra with Mercury, as well as the ending of a longer cycle with Jupiter who has been Retrograde since June 20th at 2º of Pisces, stationing at 22º Aquarius. This is a pretty big day for Jupiter. On top of a Full Moon ruled by Mars in Libra applying to a square to Pluto. The idea of hidden motives or ulterior motives comes up, especially with Pluto involved. We’ll discuss this more throughout the week, but a lot of these transitions that have taken place in the first month of fall set up whats getting ready to take place in November.

Happy Monday Everyone!
Monday Oct 18th
(1:30 AM ET) STATION: Jupiter Stations Direct at 22º19’ Aquarius
(6:04 AM ET) INGRESS: Moon enters Aries
(11:16 AM ET) STATION: Mercury stations Direct at 10º07’ Libra
(7:14 PM ET) Moon in Aries sextile Saturn at 6º05’ Aquarius
(10:36 PM ET) Mars in Libra trines Jupiter in Aquarius at 22º19’
So Monday is the big day here. Within hours of each other, Jupiter stations Direct. And actually by the time Jupiter stations Direct, the Moon will be in Jupiter’s sign, putting further emphasis on wherever Jupiter is stationing in your chart. The Moon is still VOID in Pisces by this time, but just 5 hours after Jupiter stations, the Moon will enters Aries. The Moon is now getting ready to be Full and everything happening from now until the Full Moon is part of the buildup or climax. Our first event after the Moon’s ingress is Mercury FINALLY stationing Direct at 10º07’ Libra. Mercury has been in Libra since August 30th, Retrograde since September 27th, and finally we’re at a key point in this Retrograde, where we can finally work towards a resolution of the themes that needed to be reviewed. With Mercury, I’ve been seeing the theme be understanding and reviewing the role you play in the relationships to others, and with Mercury and Jupiter simultaneously stationing Direct on the same day, ask yourself if the relationships you were in match your vision of where you want to take your future. What ties do we need to untangle ourselves out of? These have been questions Mars in Libra has been asking, and it looks like with the Moon in Aries, it’s time to make commitments to yourself. It’s time to reclaim your own autonomy back over your willpower. If the commitments and partnerships restrict your free will, rather than enhance it, that’s a sign that it’s probably not a healthy connection or commitment to stay in. More on this later, however we also have Mars completing it’s sextile towards Jupiter, which allows for an avenue of freedom, or release, from these commitments we find ourselves in. Jupiter in Aquarius is having an opportunity for support and structure as a safety net once you do make that severance. Severance can be difficult for Mars in Libra, because Mars, as the planet of motion and action, has it’s will restricted by the stillness of balance and equilibrium. What is balance? Do you feel like you’ve had to sacrifice parts of yourself to appease someone else? What parts of yourself have you compromised that are uncompromisable? Jupiter in Aquarius III (the third Decan of Aquarius) is all about untangling a knot that has been brewing since March 27th, 2021. That Jupiter ingress into Pisces is a taste of what is possible when we allow ourselves to not be intertwined with situations that don’t provide us with the fulfillment we’re searching for. Monday is a major turning point, and it is a day of action, especially since the Moon is enters Aries on the Moon’s Day, activating not only the Moon’s ingress, but Mars’ trine to Jupiter.
Tuesday Oct 19th
(1:25 AM ET) Moon in Aries opposite Mercury at 10º09’ Libra
(6:39 AM ET) Moon in Aries trine Venus at 12º52’ Sagittarius
When we move into Tuesday, the Moon starts to form an opposition to Mercury, which activates the Mercury/Venus sextile that took place last Saturday. The Moon connecting to Mercury gives oppositional, or confrontational news, now that Mercury has stationed, and is in the process of picking up the pace, some news regarding severance, as I was talking about before, comes up here. While it may feel combative at first, the Moon then applies towards a nice trine to Venus in Sagittarius, offering an opportunity to leap towards your desires. Venus in Sagittarius gives us the opportunity towards reproportioning our desires to be geared towards people who share the same vision that we have for ourselves. Venus is caught in the middle in a sextile between all the planets in Libra and in Aquarius, acting as a mediator and a medium for us to be able to chase after our desires and untangle the knot that keeps us held down on a leash. It’s definitely an energetic day and our buildup to our Full Moon.
Wednesday Oct 20th
(12:58 AM ET) Moon in Aries sextile Jupiter at 22º20’ Aquarius
(2:28 AM ET) Moon in Aries opposite Mars at 23º06’ Libra
(4:55 AM ET) Moon in Aries square Pluto at 24º21’ Aries
(10:56 AM ET) LUNATION: Full Moon at 27º26’ Aries
VOID MOON: 10:56 AM ET to 3:58 PM ET
(3:58 PM ET) Moon enters Taurus
Now here’s the big day. Wednesday. As the Moon continues to move through Aries, it’s first aspect of the day is to Jupiter, highlighting the Mars/Jupiter trine that came up on Monday. This week is so interesting because there’s like two conversations that are going on simultaneously. Trines and sextile to the benefics in Sagittarius and Aquarius, and oppositions to the planets in Libra, which is the Moon’s next aspect. While you may find the beginning of the day to be more supportive and optimistic, the Moon applies to an opposition to Mars, which brings in confrontation and fights to the forefront of the day. This is Mercury’s Day, so expect most of this to be verbal. Mars does give indications for shouting, loudness, audacity, and disruption. If there are any bridges you’ve been thinking about burning down, this may be the time to do it. With Mars in Libra, think about the consequences of your actions and how you wanna go “out”? Go out with a bang? This is cord cutting energy here, especially when the topic of power dynamics, control, the desire for power, is very strong. This can be a great time to reclaim your power and autonomy, as I’ve discussed before. Don’t be afraid to be bold. It’s fight or flight. If you find yourself withholding yourself from acting on something you desire, think about if that voice in your head is actually your voice, or if it’s someone else’s voice that they’ve planted in your head. This lunation is a dynamic one, and we haven’t seen a Full Moon in a Fire Sign since the May 26th Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius. This is a burst forward towards independence. Mars is still in the process of coming out from under the beams of the Sun since it’s conjunction on October 7th. It also brings up any damage that has been done behind the scenes to the forefront and put’s it in the spotlight. Mercury and Mars have both been under the beams for quite a while at this point, and when planets are under the beams, they’re invisible in the sky because of the Sun’s rays outshining them and depriving them of their luminance. Mercury and Mars have been working behind the scenes, bringing conflicts of interest into our consciousness, and as a result, we could see some fights, confrontation, frustration, and anger show up. It is the time to release your anger, but think about how you can constructively direct this anger. The reason the Moon encounters challenges in Aries and Scorpio, as Mars ruled signs, is because the Moon representing the body encounters frequent and constant alarms going off, such as fevers, anxiety, frustration, headaches, etc. These are just warnings to let us know that something deeper is thrown out of balance. Use your anger and frustration as a medium to dive deeper into understand what is the root cause of your issues. Check to see what house Aries rules in your chart to gain more context as to where these themes will show up. The square to Pluto makes these themes more rooted into our subconscious, or the underworld as Pluto is known to be the governor of. Take care of yourself and your body. The Moon will go Void after and then enter Taurus. Nourishing yourself and providing yourself with a container for your fire to settle in is important. One common conception that comes up is that Fire and Water cancels each other out, and can be a remedy for an excess of fire, however, with NO planets in Earth Signs, the antidote for this Full Moon, if it does get overwhelming, too intense, and the heat is turned up too much for your liking, try grounding yourself with Earth. A campfire needs stones to contain the fire from spreading into destruction and an accident. Think of your energy the same way. Don’t allow yourself to be destroyed and consumed by rage in the process. Give yourself a contain for your spirit to roam in that provides stability and sustainability.
Thursday Oct 21st
(5:44 AM ET) Moon in Taurus squares Saturn at 6º58’ Aquarius
(6:27 PM ET) Moon in Taurus conjoins Uranus at 13º21’ Taurus
As we head over into Thursday, the Moon applies towards Saturn, finding ourselves grounding can vary from person to person. But the theme is sobriety. What happens when you come down from a high? The higher you go, the farther the fall. Unless, you’re diligent about letting yourself down gently. Saturn doesn’t need to feel super heavy, but it definitely can. It’s a good time to ground yourself in reality and get in touch with your senses. I would enjoy this Taurus Moon while you can, because it’s actually the last Taurus Moon we are going to have before the Lunar Eclipse in Taurus, highlighting the ongoing Saturn/Uranus square. This Taurus Moon has had me reflecting a lot on the way the environment cultivates our livelihood, and sometimes we may need to make abrupt changes to remove what is throwing our peace out of equilibrium. Remember, your comfort zone can be the thing that kills you, is it worth it to stay fixed? This day is pretty somber, and a little dreary. Makes me think of feeling low energy, or things taking a slower pace. It’s almost as if on Wednesday, we’re going 90mph and we slam our gas on the breaks. Saturn can indicate delay and blockages, or obstacles. Saturn is best when used in moderation.
Friday Oct 22nd
(12:19 AM ET) Mars in Libra square Pluto at 24º22’ Capricorn
(9:26 AM ET) Moon in Taurus sextile Neptune at 20º49’ Pisces
(12:31 PM ET) Moon in Taurus square Jupiter at 22º21’ Aquarius
(4:35 PM ET) Moon in Taurus trine Pluto at 24º22’ Capricorn
Friday features the Mars/Pluto square, which is the final aspect Mars will make before it leaves Libra. I recommend taking this day to rest. This Decan Mars is in is ruled by the Four of Swords, which is all about recalibrating and centering oneself self. Balance is all about adaptability and change, getting to the root of what controls your environment and your sense of stability. Power dynamics get highlighted here, and understand the role each person plays in the dynamic of another. There’s the possibility of people wanting to express their deepest anger and source of pain during this time. People might expose their hatred or deeper issues underlying their anger that came up during the Full Moon. It can be a good time for release and expanding your comfort zone with the square to Jupiter. Jupiter makes this day a LOT lighter, because the Mars/Pluto square feel so heavy. The desire to break away from someone or something is strong today, and since Mars has the upper hand in the relationship with Pluto (as it is in the overcoming position) Mars may be able to make it out. Not necessarily unscathed. Jupiter squaring the Moon, in the overcoming position almost makes me think of having other people helping you carry something that is heavy. Any of the somber feelings that came up since the Moon squared Saturn, we may find some optimism or something to look forward to once the Moon applies to Jupiter. Each push outside of our comfort zone from Saturn and Uranus is a step forward towards making room for new opportunities after taking out the trash. Keeping your garden healthy requires patience. Maintain your peace amidst the chaos of Mars and Pluto.
Saturday Oct 23rd
(12:51 AM ET) Sun enters Scorpio
(3:57 AM ET) Moon enters Gemini
(6:11 PM ET) Moon in Gemini trine Saturn at 7º01’
As we move into Saturday, we start off with the Sun’s ingress into Scorpio, marking the first out of quite a few planets that will be entering Scorpio. We have the Sun finally leaving the sign of its Fall and is receiving some support by being in a Mars-ruled sign. We may find ourselves bringing ourselves towards taking much more swift modes of action towards achieving our goals and desires. These first 6º of Scorpio are the most Martian part of the Zodiac (Mars having dignity by Domicile, Decan, Bound, and Triplicity), and when the Sun is here, there is an emphasis on what someone wants or needs and how they’re going to go out of their way to achieve that. The gag is, the Sun runs into quite a few obstacles this Scorpio Season: Saturn, Uranus, and Eclipses. There’s a lot the Sun has to move through before it can apply to that square to Jupiter. Once you’re clear about your desires, and have “made up your mind” after Mercury’s Retrograde through Libra, what is stopping you? More on this as we progress through Scorpio Season. Another interesting feature of Saturday is the both of the luminaries are changing signs, and are actually moving into the signs that are in aversion to each other. Gemini and Scorpio combinations make me think of having to pick a lock. Cracking a code, or finding out some information about things being hidden. The Moon applying to a trine to Saturn gives us an opportunity to feel grounded in our desire to understand or find some sort of information. It requires us to dig deep, and digging deeper is what Sunday is about. The Sun in Scorpio is opening up the battle of the malefics that takes place in November. That kickoff starts next Saturday when Mars enters Scorpio.
Sunday Oct 24th
(6:16 AM ET) Moon in Gemini trine Mercury at 12º57’ Libra
(5:42 PM ET) Moon in Gemini opposite Venus at 18º33’ Sagittarius
(10:13 PM ET) Moon in Gemini square Neptune at 20º46’ Pisces
Sunday, the Moon in Gemini runs into a trine to Mercury in Libra, finding some sort of agreement and carrying some sort of information towards Mercury about what perspective or side to take. Mercury freshly stationed Direct is now moving further along in the zodiac, being able to discern and intake everyone’s perspectives. The Moon opposes Venus in Sagittarius and the facts are gotten straight with Mercury, does the truth hold up with Venus. There’s the potential to get conflicting news on this day. As Venus applies closer to a square with Neptune, right as the Moon is passing over this, it’s easy to see what people have been saying about you and how truths have been distorted. Coming with the facts is always important, especially since there is the potential to be misunderstood today. With Venus applying to a square with Neptune, an important aspect for next week, there can be some confusion about the relationships we have with others, where we stand, and a questioning of how much faith we are placing in others. In some instance this can affirm that our faith is rightly placed in the good of others, in other instances, it may feel like disillusionment from the idea we had of others versus the reality presented in front of us.
